Fantastic caring staff and doctor. Gave my injured pup immediate care even though they were already totally booked for the day. Best vet ever.

The veterinarian was thorough, explained things well, and listened well. We will definitely continue to use Coastside Veterinary Clinic as our vet.

I'm torn because I really loved the vet I saw for my first visit. She was just lovely. My dog has a mass in his chest and his days are not unlimited. I just wanted to check its progression with a new vet as we have recently moved. The initial visit was wonderful - five+ stars. $125 was more than fair. I made an appointment to get a chest xray to compare with the one last summer where we learned of the mass. My dog is old and has led a wonderful life. I don't want a diagnosis or treatment - just compare sizes to see progression (to prepare me for the final decision.) I showed up for the appointment and the release says ultrasound (much more expensive than an xray.) I balk. Then I see the estimate - nearly $900! They also included full sedation for my very old dog with a mass near his heart (um, no, never.) The assistant went back inside and got the estimate "down to" $680. I left. I also felt horrible like I was letting my dog down but that estimate was absolutely insane. No one told me before we got there. I was called the night before and given prep instructions. Last year 2 days at the emergency vet, including the initial chest xray, was $1,200. I just don't know how they justified that cost. 8 xrays for a horse including 2 vets and an assistant, sedation, and a ranch call was $400 here in the same area just the week prior. It's a shame because I think the vet was just wonderful. If I were made of money I'd give them 5 stars.

Coastside Vet is amazing. My husband and I are flying to the UK this week, and we needed an accredited vet to examine our dog Juni, create a health certificate for her, and give her a tapeworm treatment. Flying a dog to the UK is really complicated, with a lot of paperwork requirements, but they walked us through every step of the process. Jerrica, the Veterinary Assistant, was especially helpful. She went out of her way to double-check that we knew about the USDA endorsement, and when we didn't, she gave us the right number to call. It was a pretty hectic day because we needed to send the certificate to the USDA and get it back ASAP. Jerrica was AMAZING in making sure the cert was uploaded into the digital system, talking to the USDA to make sure everything was correct, calling us back throughout the day to keep us updated... basically she went out of her way to make sure everything was accounted for. And she was so helpful and positive on the phone. My husband and I kept singing her praises throughout the day! As for the actual vet visit, Juni is a really nervous dog, but they treated her very warmly and even gave her a treat to chew on when she was all done. They have a nice outdoor waiting area on their porch, while they take the dog inside for you (because of COVID.) All in all, it was a very positive experience, particularly because of Jerrica, and I really recommend them!

I followed Dr. Sara Huckabone here from another practice. She guided me through my pup's cancer, and I am forever grateful for her expertise and kindness. She takes the time to explain every aspect of your animal's care to you and never makes you feel rushed when asking questions. I used to drive 1hr to see her (2hrs round trip), and I thought the quality of care was well worth the time and additional expense. The practice is clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly and well organized. I highly recommend this clinic.

I’ve had animals my entire life and have never felt as much at ease as I have the last ten years with the Coastside Veterinary Clinic team caring for my three dogs and cat. From the front desk to the operating table, they are always there to help with knowledge and compassion. I appreciate them beyond words!

Staff members are friendly. I like the facility being like someone's warm, well-kept home. I also like the email reminders for meds, checkups and shots. I feel that our dogs' health is well monitored.

Coastside Vet Team is fantastic. My 4 dogs have been Dr. Huckabone and Dr. Lawson's patients for the past 7 years. We have been through Toe Cancer to Acupunctures, kidney stones, urinary track infections to routine teeth cleanings to spaying. We trust Coastside Vet Team. Dr. Duvall is an incredible diagnostician. Erika and Kelly are the tech vets that communicate with us, vaccinate our dogs and answer our questions regarding medications. We have older dogs and I cannot imagine going through the aging process, complications that arise with age, without Coastside Team.

The team at Coastside Vet is top rate. My experience beginning with setting up appointments, to seeing a doctor, receiving treatment and, follow-up calls (to check in after treatment) has been consistently positive. Identifying a “primary care physician” who worked with us to find the best wellness plan and provide consistent treatment has been key. Our Dr. offers acupuncture and holestic treatment as well as traditional care. We are thankful (- special shout-out to Erica and Dr. Huckabone) for the care and treatment that has kept our Westie healthy into his 16th year.

We recently moved and needed to find a local veterinarian for our 12 year old dachshund and after doing some research and looking at web reviews we decided to try Coastside Veterinary Clinic. We are very pleased with the doctor, great staff and the level of care. I would definitely recommend them!
