RUDE. UNPROFESSIONAL. INCONSIDERATE. The whole experience from start to finish was garbage. I wish I could say that we appreciated the Vet, but even after waiting over an hour to hear from ANYONE we left with no notes from the doctor and we were overcharged for our visit. The supplies they provided were valued at double the cost listed online. They racked us with extra fees! & MOST IMPORTANTLY none of the staff had ANY regard for customer service or showed a hint kindness. After we paid for our bill, one of the staff members chased us at the door saying we were trying to steal the products that we clearly had proof of purchase of. Then continued to verify with the front desk because they thought we were lying. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I could share more about how unprofessional the types of conversation we heard from the waiting room were or how the staff treated one another, but recalling our visit makes me sick.

Dr. Weinberg is just the best! We followed her from our vet in Vista where she helped with the diagnoses of our dog with Addison's Disease. She's been there for us with 2 dogs and 2 cats - good times, and bad. She is so thorough and thoughtful. She KNOWS her patients and responds to THEIR needs. If we're sitting on the floor, she's sitting on the floor. We were really lucky to have found her. ???? ???? ???? ????

I am new to the area and wanted to bring my dogs in for a semi- serious issue. We don’t have a regular vet yet so I was hoping maybe this could be them. I should first say the girl who initially answer the phone was a sweetheart- she mentioned she was new so she put someone else on. WOW. I wish I caught her name to accurately provide this review and not assume the whole practice is as awful as her- but I have never dealt with a Vet receptionist who was so rude. And maybe she was even a Vet I really don’t know- but because of her lack of sympathy, awful customer service skills (just basic ones, ya know like maybe being polite to a possible new client?) I would never bring my pets here. I can only assume that they don’t want new clients. I understand EVERYONE is busier then usual right now- I am too, but Most of us aren’t rude to customers because of it. I’d never subject my dogs to a place where this person may have encountered them. Absolutely awful, I still can’t even believe what just happened.

We can start with team’s competency and heroics that saved my dogs life (literally) recently. Years ago, Dr. Weinberg was strongly recommended to me and since then, 9 more from my apt complex use TwinOaks because they were told by me and other residents why we are all highly satisfied customers. I am one of those who researches drs and this is a fine group. Dr. Weinberg is very knowledgeable, communicative and applies common sense. She also uses discretion if cost is of concern in contrast to vets who throw every test known at once and it’s “their way or the highway”. Twin Oaks works with you and treats you as the most valued member of the team. And yes, they get back with you...understand 1) shortage of vets nationally and locally; 2) covid impacted availability of vet care as more women are vets and needed to stay home with their children during covid; and 3) she just added two more vets so much easier to be seen and for them to operate at full steam. A hearty and well deserved endorsement.

Dr. Lockwood is a fantastic vet. The care she and the whole staff provide for my two senior cats is second to none. I highly recommend if you're looking for a new vet. Expect to be greeted with kindness, compassion and expertise by everyone at Twin Oaks.

I took my cat in to get her eye checked out. I dropped her off at 8am and I was supposed to get a call from the Dr. to explain what was wrong with my cat. I called three times and was told that the Dr. was in surgery. I ended up showing up because I never received a call. The Dr. never spoke to me and instead sent her assistant to tell me to give my cat Children’s Benadryl. Out of courtesy and as a new client she should have spoken to me directly. She took my money and didn’t help my cat!!

I'm a long-time happy client of Dr Weinberg's veterinary practice, trusting her with the care of my pets (2 dogs and a few cats) since 2008 when she was in Vista, and later at Twin Oaks Animal Hospital in San Marcos. Dr Weinberg always has the right diagnosis and fixes my pets up in no time. Besides that, the staff are always friendly and attentive. Also, the many friends that I've referred to Twin Oaks Animal Hospital have been loyal and satisfied customers as well. You will not be disappointed!

Stay away! Literally the worst veterinary experience I have ever encountered and I have had dogs for over 40 years. Took my dog in for anxiety problems as a result of my return to the office. He barked at the vet ONCE since he has never met her, she had a mask on, and he has anxiety, her response was: “you know people are sue happy, right?” In a condescending and threatening manner. Are you threatening me doctor? My dog barked, he did not bite you. He has never bitten anyone. Then she proceeded to provide her unsolicited opinion regarding her conclusion that I shouldn’t breed my dog. I was never planning to breed, but since he is an AKC champion, he has remained intact. Again, not at the vet for any other reason besides getting help for my dogs anxiety. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a vet and I will be returning to Dr Pearson’s Animal Hospital who understands high strung dogs and does not insult her customers.

I’m so happy we chose to take my dog Wiley to Twin Oaks Animal Hospital. When we adopted Wiley from a rescue, he had a post-neutering infection and was really suffering. With Dr. Weinberg’s care, he was feeling better in no time and was able to adjust to his new home. Over the past year, Wiley has had his share of mishaps, from a dewclaw tear to back pain to tummy issues. Dr. Weinberg treated our dog with gentle care and solved the issues quickly every time. I have the utmost trust in her ability to solve all of our doggie issues and know that she will treat him like her own pet. The entire staff is courteous and professional - they provided excellent customer service, even at the height of the pandemic. Highly recommend!

I have tried contacting them to set up an appointment for my elderly cat and noone has responded to my emails or call and voice-mails. I dont know what has happened, i had gone to them before and they were amazing but not having anyone answer back is really disheartening.

The staff was great and the Vet was super nice and caring. After the visit they called to check in and we got a hand written card thanking us and welcoming us to the practice :)

Dr. Weinberg is very knowledgeable and gentle with the Pet's. She takes all the time needed with the owners, to explain about the pets problem, and how to help the pet once you get home.

I highly Recommend this Veterinary practice, Dr. Weinberg is truly caring and compassionate. Her staff is also excellent. I had an emergency with my 15 year old Minnie Pin and I had never even been there prior and they Saw me same day, two days later Cinnamon was in dental extraction surgery and all went excellent! My Minnie now recovered so AWESOME and this Veterinary practice is the reason my Min Pin has her Life back and her Quality of it too. 5 Stars isn't even enough, I am Blessed I found Dr. Weinberg Thank You for your Special Heart and Professional Care. Dr. Weinberg and the staff here have taken such good care of our dogs for years. They are always prompt when we need anything, and we love that they have weekend hours. Their prices are reasonable and their care is exceptional.

Our local vet - has seen several of our family dogs over the years... Consistently good service, good communication, and fair pricing. One of the best veterinary experiences we've had.

I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the love and care my kitty was shown by the staff of Twin Oaks Animal Hospital. I‘m relatively new to the area and am a protective cat mama by nature-so, when my little guy started exhibiting signs of mouth pain I worried about where to take him. Pairing our current “no contact” Corona Virus lifestyle with the anxiety attacks my cat suffers, I knew I would need to find a place where our needs would be heard. From my first phone call with Lauren, my nervousness was immediately assuaged because I knew he would be in good hands. Provisions were made for a treatment plan that would best accommodate his temperament and his following visit was promptly scheduled. Dr. Ashley and her staff walked me through the surgical procedures he would be undergoing prior to the appointment and answered my ENDLESS questions with time, empathy and thought. Dr. Ashley made a point to update me in the midst of his surgery so I would be aware of all aspects of his condition (and their service didn’t stop there). When I picked my kitty up, EVERYONE on staff took the time to talk with me about their impression of my little guy and his experience there. It truly made me feel like he was seen as the shining star priority that he is in my eyes! (They even reached out the following day to inquire about his recovery. Talk about rockstar client relations!) So, to sum it all up, even though it’s needless to say- Twin Oaks Animal Hospital is being given 5 STARS in my book( it would be 10 if that was an option )The biggest thank you to the generous professional animal loving hearts on this staff! -one happy cat family

Dr. Weinberg is a great vet. She is always on time (so no long waits), she is detailed in her explanations, and she is extremely knowledgeable in diagnosing issues and treating them. She has a super support staff that is personable, responsive, and on top of things. Overall ... a well-run office staffed with highly-qualified individuals.

We could not have been more pleased with our experiences with the Twin Oaks Animal Hospital. Dr. Weinberg and her staff are exemplary in their care and support of our pets. After visiting, you will find that it is your pet's needs that are the priority and you never feel that you are being taken advantage of with needless fees or tacked on procedures that are more about extorting money than providing proper care. My family could not be happier that the Twin Oaks Animal facility is our pet care center. They are truly marvelous in every regard staffed throughout with compassionate individuals eager to assist however they can!
