They always take great care of our boy Moose. He loves his "spa" days with them.

The staff is extremely attentive and you can tell they all really love dogs. My dog runs excited and happy and gets greeted with hugs every time. The staff is very loving and treats the dogs like their own.

If you need to drop off your dog for day care of board overnight Dogtopia of San Marcos is the place. Our dogs have been going there for the past 5 years and have always had great experiences there and run from the car when we pull up to get in. They have all services required for their health, bathing, clipping, all grooming, teeth cleaning, nail trims, and more. They offer special meals and treats for your furry friends which makes their stay different each time. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Don't hesitate to take you dogs there. It's a great place with great staff.

There are many times I'm not excited to see my high-energy dog. Somehow, the people here never get that feeling. My wife likes watching the dogs play on the website while we're on the road, too.

Make sure to read all the reviews including the negative ones. Especially because you are leaving your dog in their full care.

Asher is our everything and we were nervous to put him in regular daycare a few days a week. But after a few months now we cannot say enough nice things about Dogtopia San Marcos. I have not met one staff member who wasn’t kind and welcoming with each interaction. They really love Asher there and I never worry about him when I am at work. Asher is very excited to go there and loves playing with his friends. Today he participated in the wiener race❤️ Thank you Dogtopia for taking great care of our baby!

We absolutely LOVE Dogtopia!!! They’ve gonna above and beyond our expectations. Our pup is always so excited to arrive and exhausted after playing. We also Love that they give the dogs breaks mid day. The nanny cams give us peace of mind as well. Oh and I can’t say enough good things about every single employee. You can tell they actually Love dogs which is the most important factor for us! : )

So unprofessional. Staff and Julie are so unprofessional. Do not recommend taking your pet here. I saw multiple times on camera these 'room attendants' grabbing my dog by the collar and dragging him to the the there crates. Now I'm training him not to be neck reactive I spent a lot of money here and asked them to remove my dog's photos on their instragram due to him turning 7 months old. Now they have me blocked on instragram for me asking them to remove my dog's pictures no reply back just blocked me. Now today I've called 4 times and noone answering the phones. Shocker. There horrible at answering the phones. And I left my puppy in their care. Wow. There are ways to look at your instragram and I'll be looking to see if you removed MY dog's pictures. Julie you messed with the wrong dog mom and I will be contacting Corporate today.

I love dogtopia! We've been taking our dog here since she was a puppy. They have webcams to check on your pup and always take great care of the dogs. I love to bring her here because she always comes home well exercised and very happy :)

The best dog daycare I've ever taken my dog to! Staff is friendly and professional and the facility is always kept vigilantly clean. The outdoor areas have ample shade (a huge relief for california!) and you can take a look at your dog playing anytime thanks to their Webcam system. They're very strict with the health of their dogs so I know that every time I leave mine there, I know she's in good hands :-) She's always so excited to go that when she sees the building, no force on earth could stop her from going inside and saying hi to the receptionists and attendants!

The team at Dogtopia went out of their way to make sure our pet was well taken care of. I would recommend them and I would use them again!

My puppy loves it here. So incredibly happy we found a quality daycare for our shepherd mix. He comes home happy and exhausted from playing all day. I love that it is cage free, open play.

LOVE this place! My dog, Spanky ( @spankycooke on IG), immediately walked in and wanted to kiss everyone and go play with the other dogs. He has walked away from other places. The staff is second to none and they all seem to love their job. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. I feel so comfortable leaving my dog in the care of Dogtopia and the people who work there!

Dogtopia has the friendliest staff out of any doggy day camp i’ve ever been to! They pretty much know all the dogs by name as soon as they walk in, and they’re so good about teaching dogs how to play well with others. Love love love! 10/10 recommend!

Even before I went o meet and greet, Hope spoke to me on phone and also emailed me all the details that help me prepare and have everything in advance. I went in for meet and greet. My pup had a great time. The staff was friendly and explained everything in detail. Friendly Staff. My pup gets to play all day long and I can even watch on the app when I want to. If you are looking for your dog to have fun. It is the place to go.

Wanted to thank the entire team at this Dogtopia location. Everyone is kind and cordial when I drop my dog off here from time to time. I think to even have a place where we can leave our four-legged friends and not at home alone is a privilege. I can’t be more appreciative of the Julie and her team here especially during the pandemic. I know it’s hard work keeping the facility clean and imagine having to hear all the barks 8+ hours a day! Don't know how you guys do it. Thank you guys so much.

Virtually every experience I, and more importantly, my little Pembroke Welsh Corgi (Ruby) have with Dogtopia has been outstanding! From boarding to grooming they do a wonderful job and are always pleasant and welcoming to me and my dog. Their facility is clean and well-maintained, and I have no worries when I drop little Ruby off there.

I have relied on Dogtown Resort take care of my Rudy boy for 5 years now. I take him in about once a week for daytime play and also have him stay there overnight on occasion. He gets so excited when the car enters their parking lot!

Dogtopia is set up in a very professional, clean, COVID19 cautious, and dog-loving environment. The staff is very courteous and professional. I like the fact that they are really on top of each dog's vaccination records which makes me feel safe to let my dogs spend time here. Dogtopia offers various play areas, both indoor and outdoor. They also group dogs by size so smaller dogs (like mine) won't feel intimidated by the large breed dogs. Furthermore, Dogtopia has multiple webcams available for dog parents to monitor their furbabies. Overall, I felt that Dogtopia is a service provider who I can trust and the facility is clean and safe. I am very happy to choose Dogtopia as my furbabies' daycare facility.

My dog seemed to have a great time with the staff and other dogs. When he got back home, he went straight to sleep. Plus the care and surprise valentines pictures they took of him was awesome. Would always recommend Dogtopia.

First off is how comfortable our dog is when visiting. He knows the minute we turn in that he is where he wants to be. When they come and get him... hold on tight because he is ready to play and will bolt for their front door. The front desk staff is very friendly and you can tell a "dog person" when you see one and these gals are dog people. I have been to all the local care facilities in the area and for us, Dogtopia is our choice for our dog and our needs as owners. Here are "our" deciding factors in choosing a place for our pooch to stay: Friendly and accommodating staff, well chosen companions for our dog to play with, dogs are separated by size, yards (or rooms) are always staffed and aware of what is going on around them (know when dogs get over stimulated to defuse situations before they get out of hand), cameras that are web accessible when your dog is there (always make us assured when we watch him playing in the pool or playing with friends), Dogs have a period of rest during the day and are put in crates which our dog is accustomed too, they have air-conditioned options when the outdoors become too warm and the price point is very reasonable. When our dog comes home, he is pretty much exhausted and will rest the remainder of the day which is why we bring him here... To get the socialization and exercise that a golden retriever wants and needs.

They are wonderful! We can see our dogs playing and having a great time and they always come back tired and happy! They've been so flexible with schedules and are very well managed! Both we and our Dogs Love them! ♡♡♡

I took my little 4.5 month French Bulldog here to learn what it’s like to be without me and to interact with other dogs. The place was very clean and I loved the camera feature. She was treated with love by the staff and is learning to be ok alone. I highly recommend dogtopia!
