A place for puppy class. Not much experience with them yet...time will tell.

So far I've only taken my puppy in for two lessons but his demeanor and actions have already improved quite a bit. Courtney is very personable and kind, and the environment is relaxed and clean.

Caring and knowledgeable about dogs. We had a great experience with puppy training and continue to use them for daycare. Would recommend to anyone looking for a positive environment for their dog and expert trainers.

Liz and team are truly amazing! They are truly focused on the safety and health of all animals in their care. We benefitted from 1:1 training after getting a 2 year old rescue pup and she now attends daycare weekly. You know it’s a great place when your dog gets excited when pulling into the parking lot!

Our puppy went to daycare and got training three times a week. At the end of training we saw a huge improvement in his behavior! We're very happy with Dogs Abound!

Our pup loves his place and the staff loves him. We feel so comfortable leaving our guy here for days at a time because we know how well he is treated when we have to leave him.

Absolutely the best daycare and boarding in North county. The owners and staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. In fact, they approach daycare and training from a psychology perspective for the dogs. They appreciate that each dog has a particular personality and they accommodate appropriately. You cannot find a better place to take your dog. It is absolutely not a place where dogs run wild and chaos reigns.

Both LuAnn and Liz truly understand dogs. This isn’t just some place you can drop off your dogs all day and wear them out. But rather it is a fantastic business run by knowledgeable and friendly owners.

I went there for a handful of private sessions and received the one on one attention me and my sporting dog needed with great trainer Liz. I also attended a seminar. If you are looking for high level of training especially privates it is well worth it for what ever issue you may be addressing. Also the place is neat and clean and the dogs in the play area look happy.

This is the best place to bring your dog! Run by wonderful and truly caring people. You don't just drop off your dog, this place takes really care of every dog's needs.

I don't know what I would do without Dogs Abound! My chocolate lab, Moose, absolutely loves it there and gets so excited when its time to go to "daycare". It works perfect for my schedule and he can expend some energy playing with his friends a few mornings per week. I have also left Moose for a couple of overnights and it is so nice to have the flexibility and especially the peace of mind knowing that he is in good hands. They are simply the BEST!

I know my dogs aren't the easiest to deal with -- my younger dog in particular can get overstimulated VERY quickly. Dogs Abound staff are great, they take care to have him play with dogs that won't feed his crazy side, and they monitor everything carefully to manage him so that he can get exercise and socialization without going over the top. I've boarded him before when traveling and won't hesitate to do so again.

I can't say enough good things about Dogs Abound. We have a 14 year-old who we were nervous to board because of her age, but this time had no alternative. The staff at Dogs Abound had us leave her with them for a day so they could assess her temperament, energy level, her ability to get along with other dogs and other needs. She doesn't get along with all dogs so has never been able to join in with group play, but they were able to find her a couple of buddies she was compatible with. These people know each and every dog they care for and its all about keeping them comfortable and happy during their stay. We were able to bring her own food at no extra charge and her own bed and blanket and when we returned we found the same healthy happy dog we had left. At other kennels she had lost weight and was hoarse from barking so much. This was not the case at Dogs Abound. We are very happy we discovered them and will not hesitate to recommend them.

My Dude is considered "special Care" he has to be separate from other dogs and is picky about the people he likes, which makes it hard for me to be able to board him. Dogs abound has staff that took the time to get to know Dude and are able to care for him so I can enjoy my travels.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Dogs Abound. The owners and staff are more than just dog lovers, they really understand dogs. I can leave my beloved Sammie there and be completely at ease. She is not just being "looked after", she is genuinely being "cared for". Best of all my dog absolutely LOVES to be there! I don't live near San Marcos any more but I still go out of my way to bring my dog to "Dogs Abound". I can't imagine taking her anywhere else!

It's always tough leaving your pups in the hands of others, but sometimes that's what you need to do. Super stoked these guys were able to accommodate us when last minute plans meant we couldn't use our local friends to take in our little guy. Parking was ample and it was easy to get to as we left town on the 78. The staff was super nice and the facility was clean. There's separate areas for the big dogs and small too. Our guy came back to us tail wagging and happy as ever. While I was there I met a woman who was dropping off her two dogs for doggy day care. She said she's a new customer too (sounds about right since it's a new facility), but loved the staff and her dogs seemed to feel the same way. Fairly priced, but call ahead because you'll need to be prepared to show your pup has the proper shots and what not and you may need to get that from your vet, because if you're like me, you lost it! Dog lovers and owners running a dog daycare facility, what a novel idea!
