The staff has changed and they injured my dog doing a nail trim. We used to get his nails trimmed and vet care their for the last 3 years and their prices are never the same. The new employees don’t care about animals. I would never take any pet there. I would never recommend them and they don’t even deserve a one star rating. Please, don’t take your pet there because they will be abused.

This has been our family vet for 30 years, in fact my mom worked here in college, great old school vet, your not going to be pressured to MRI your hamster because he sneezed. Just quality loving care for our pets

the ladies at the front desk are exceptional and helped me more than the actual vet ever did. i absolutely DO NOT recommend this vet if your dog is on a raw food diet. he has tried to get me to switch my dog to kibble countless times which i understand but i drew the line when he wouldn’t fill my dogs allergy prescription because he said that switching him to kibble would solve it. mind you my dog had allergies before i put him on a raw diet.

The staff and vet ( Dr Longabach) truly care about the animals they see. They are like family but give the best care to our fur babies. AN Old school vet..who puts the animals first and never over diagnosis or over-prescribes. Outstanding...a true gem.

I have been taking my dogs to CPAH for 10+ years. Not only is everyone exceptionally nice and welcoming, the level of care my animals receive is excellent every visit. I definitely recommend CPAH for vet services and boarding. My dogs' tails are wagging coming and going.

Great prices, wonderful staff, & Doc is amazing. Since it is a single doctor practice sometimes the wait to get an appointment can be long.

Cuesta canyon Park is one of my all-time favorite parks. It's like you're not in the city anymore. There are several large venues for hosting BBQ parties. You do need to reserve them San Luis Obispo park and rec.

They take such great care of my dogs and go the extra mile to make them feel loved. I wouldn't take them anywhere else ever!

Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative. With the exception of the young ladies at the front desk who were exceptionally nice. They brought me and my cat back into a vet room. Honestly it was quite dirty. (Maybe they need to hire a new cleaning service) I waited and waited. While waiting I had the misfortune to hear a whining child that wouldn’t be quiet. 30 minutes of a toddler whining on a Monday morning was rude and insensitive of that parent. Parents PLEASE get a sitter because no one wants to hear someone else’s child whining. EVER!!! We may put up with it but it’s quite rude on your part. I was a single parent of twins and I always was considerate of those around me who might be affected by whiny offspring. The vet didn’t bother to poke his head in just to say hello and/or I’ll be with you shortly...Like most professionals would be inclined to do. Another young gal with lime green hair came in to say hi...she didn’t introduce herself. Was she a vet assistant? Or was she the mother of the whiny child? Who knows? I didn’t bother staying. I felt this place was extremely unprofessional. I highly DON’T recommend.

I have had Dr. Longabach for the last 25 yrs thru all my cats, kids cats, and dogs and couldn't be more pleased with his attention and care of our pets. The price per visit is much more reasonable that other vets where I have venture out a time or two.

I tried out different animal hospitals and am so happy that I found Cuesta Park Animal Hospital! You know that experience when you go to a vet and are told you're going to pay hundreds of dollars for a minor issue without a conversation? NOT gonna happen here! My dog means the world to me so I would gladly spend what is absolutely necessary, even an expensive surgery. However, when your dog just seems under the weather and half the items you're given are helpful but unnecessary and your first discussion about it is at the checkout counter, it's not okay. This has happened to me most times in my experiences at vet clinics. Where is the bedside manner? You don't go into a shopping mall and have stores tell you what you're going to spend before even having time to look around. Maybe if I was made of gold, I wouldn't care so much. I love how down to earth the people are here. Dr. Longebach and his employees are all very caring and make sure you talk about your concerns. The prices are very reasonable and you always feel like you are given options to make the best decision for both your pet and your wallet. I highly recommend this hospital! Best animal hospital in SLO!

Doc is the best! He was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn’t be more happy with their services. My German Shepherd Ziggy is comfortable with him and his amazing staff. We’ve had many visits from her first shots to now two emergency visits. One emergency visit was today. Ziggy sliced her leg and had to have three staples put in, Doc was fully booked but he still took her and fixed her right up in between clients. His staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. I never have to question if my fur baby is in good hands. Kristen at the front desk does a great job at making mine and Ziggys nerves calmer at a stressful time. Their pricing is very reasonable, you can tell that Docs #1 concern is with the fur babies and not how they can rob you of money like most of the vets in this area. I highly recommend Cuesta Park Animal Hospital!

Friendly staff and Dr Longabach was patient with me and level headed. He didn't try to sell me any services I didn't need, and when it was time to pay, they were very generous with me since I have an adopted feline. There was no wait time.

The group i volunteer with, the Cal Poly Cat Program, has been taking all of our cats to Doc for as long as any of us can remember. He sometimes sees five or more cats from us each week, and is absolutely amazing with all of them. He's been extremely friendly and understanding and the staff there has always gone out of their way to help us with things we need. This isn't just a review for a single cat, but for the hundreds of cats that they've seen from us over the years. If we can trust them with all of our animals, you can trust them with your personal ones. :)
