They're a wonderful clinic with the best vets. Both my dogs love to go to the vet and drag me in. Dr. Tancredi is amazing and helped me send my old girl over the rainbow bridge with love and dignity. So lucky to have found this clinic over ten years ago; they truly care about their patients and their humans.

I have been a Banfield wellness program member since my puppy arrived. But I never really appreciate their services until recently. My puppy was vomiting so I brought her to a emergency clinic last night. I waited for almost 2 hours in the car and they called to inform me they want to do $1500 of tests and injections. So I brought her home and was very lucky to get her a drop off appointment at this Banfield location in the morning. I’m sorry to say, I did not remember the name of the doctor who called me, but she is very compassionate and professional. My puppy was prescribed medication and have stoped the vomiting. I was only charged $20 for the medication(other things included by the membership). Thank you to all the staff here.

Very hard to get an appointment. This was not always the case. When you are able to get in a month later, they are good. Thinking of changing to a different Vet office.

There is zero communication here. There’s long delays. Half of the time there’s no one at the front desk. There’s always a mixup between what’s said in the phone and what’s said when you arrive. This place frustrates me.

Knowledgeable workers. Very friendly. Cured my dog good.

Dr. Peng is the best! He really takes great care of our pets whenever we bring them in.

I had a question about flea medication (what brand is good) and the lady at the desk said I needed to ask PetSmart because they don’t know anything about products. Like huh? I’m supposed to ask a sales associate about how well medicine works and not the vet??? I have had a plan with banfield for years and every year I am less and less satisfied.

Scheduled an appointment for morning drop off. No one showed off at the clinic! Spent there more than 30 mins waiting for someone and had to go home eventually.

We scheduled an appointment, they specifically asked us to drop off our cat at 7:15 am. I came there, it was closed, nobody was inside, although line of people with pets outside (with the same appointment time! Interesting!) Nobody picked up the phone. Cool. I waited half an hour and left. My cat was under such a stress for nothing.

Vet and assistant were great treated my cat quickly professionally and with loving care.

Juan helped with getting my dog vaccinated and medically shaved and he was wonderful.

Been with Banfield for over two years and i m really disappointed this time. I sent my dog over and told them to removed the tick under my dog’s chin and was told the tick came off by itself. The following morning I checked and it was still there and the area was bigger and red. Very disappointed.

Too busy to see us.

I love the Front staff, Back Nurses and of course the Doctors! My baby first Doctor was "Dr. Peng", his staff was amazing. Now, my baby has a New Doctor" Dr. Wong". Her staff is also amazing! I like how all the doctors are very detailed and caring for our pets, especially the Nurses. Thank you, For taking good care of our "Furry Babies".

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR PET HEALTH PLANS. They are a scam and extremely overpriced (750/month). Long waits, phony customer service, hidden costs. This is the "VINNYS GARAGE" of veterinarians.

Dr Penn is the best

My big dog loves banfield, somehow they get him to behave when he needs to take his shots.

I had brought my Delilah in . She was in bad shape. The doctor was very caring and informative on just how bad it really was. I thank the staff and doctor and all who were involved. A great caring facility.

Ever since I’ve had a dog I’ve been going to Banfield pet Hospital ‘s. When I moved to California five years ago I was hesitant to go to a new one. A new location that is. Finding the San Leandro banfield is the best thing that probably ever happened to us in regard to our dog Nells. I could not recommend Dr.Peng more. He only knew Nells for a few years but he acted like he knew nells for a lifetime. He always talked about the characteristics of Nells and he always shared in my joy and in my pain with nells. Dr. Peng championed not only Nells but also me in regard to the health issues that Nells had. I am writing this review because of how incredible banfield handled the passing of my beloved nells. It could not have been a better passing for Nells I’m so grateful for how everything was handled. It helped me in my despair and grief. I’m forever grateful.

Took my pet for a ear infection and 2 shoots went to go get her and they messed her up what I mean a stiff back her face was hurting and to cover there behinds they just had prescribed just a pain pill and inflammation pills and she’s still not good . They had to tourtered my beautiful dog this is not fair and they keep saying that they are going to call me and they never die this is ridiculous. Animal cruelty they better do something before I sue !

My cats had gotten great service from every doc they have visited with for 13 years so far. I commend the technicians for they are great with them.

I called them to set up an emergency visit for my dog because he’s not eating. The lady on the phone said they don’t have appointment for today and went to talk to the vet. She came back on the line and told me they can get him in today to evaluate his heart murmur and estimated $700 plus. The dog is clearly having digestive problem, that they can not see him for, but would love to collect $700 for an unrelated condition. I have lost all trust in this place. Find another vet right away. All they are good for is trimming nails and extracting anal glands. We have annual insurance with them but that will be cancelled today.

I like to using the points I earn buying my cat food. visit the cats up for adotion each time I do my shopping.

Absolutely the worst vet. Everyone from the receptionist, manager, nurse, and doctor were the most unprofessional people I've ever seen run a vets office. They really don't care about your pets health here. I would stray as far away as you can from this hospital. I can't speak for all Banfield hospitals, but this one was especially awful. In my experience, this office cares more about your money than the health of your pet. The doctor is not someone of their word, and that tells you a lot about this establishment. Please go elsewhere and check reviews. This has to stop. I don't think they should be operating with how bad their operations and services are. Will be calling Banfield corporations. I hope this helped anybody trying to find a true veterinarian office with integrity.

Such nice people doing good job

So very clean & well organized. The signage they have posted everywhere regarding the Rules for Covid is Very Well Done and Understandable. Staff was very helpful and courteous with everyone coming in.
