Been going here for years, even before they moved from capo beach to san juan capistrano. The owner is a brilliant designer and does competitions where she colors and cuts the dogs to look like safari animals and fun stuff like that. We don't get that sort of thing. When we got standard poodles my husband's rule was "no froo froo haircuts", so we just get standard puppy cuts. We've had a couple of groomers over the years, and they have all had a high standard, which is probably due to the standard set by the owner. The atmosphere is relatively casual, and her dogs are there every day as well, which I like. They have been particularly good with my older dog Misty, who has passed now, and are good with my dog Seamus and Tabby, (Seamus got neurotic after I went back to work), and they give them the proper attention that they need. If you are looking for a superior cut and people who will listen when you say"no froo froo" on the cut today, and no perfume...then these are the people you need! They will charge an additional small fee if your dogs are super matted (mine usually are) . It's not much, and mine like to run about in the bushes outdoors a lot, so it's worth it to me. Go, you will like the results.

Terrible job i wish i could give 0 stars. they just don't listen or take into consideration what the owner wants/requests. I asked for the owner waited a couple of months for her to be available got someone else named Lisa who had no idea what to do. Didn't know how to groom by breed standard so instead of calling looked it up on line.....now I won't be able to show her for at least 6 months. Way to go Lisa. Now I get to look at her butt hole everytime she turns around. By the way they clip not for staining thats natural but because they can. So beware if the hairs unstained they clip and leave if it's discolored. The shops response was well we can't glue the hair back So if you're looking for a show groomer think again Thanks again for ruining my dog's coat. Oh by the way the breed standard isn't flat thinned out and parted down the center, you didn't even get that part right

We brought our enlish bulldog in to get groomed. His pocket has been hard to clean and was getting sore. He has corse fur, and sheds a ton. After just 1 visit he came home with a silky, shiny coat, and you could tell he felt like a million bucks. The white fur is whiter than I've ever seen. Also as a bully he has super sensative skin but the products they used worked wonders without irritation. We'll never bathe him at home, or take him anywhere else again!
