If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is ran by the rudest person I've ever met. Those birds deserve better then what this man is giving them.

Nice birds but the man was abusing the birds he also yelled sit up to the macaws there prices are ridiculous I regret going to his horrible place. Even the area sucks. To be honest I think pet co is even better than louis .

Inquired about ownership of an African Grey of which he had one...two years old and had a crooked lower beak...and he wanted A LOT for the bird, $5,000. No thanks. Well stocked on supplies though.

I spent over an hour last Tuesday speaking to the owner when visiting his shop. He gave really personal attention.. He was both knowledgeable and cared about birds. Having my own small flock of pet birds as a hobby I understand how much work it is to care for birds and give him credit for all the hard work required. Yes, to some his prices may be higher than other places, but it is worth it to get a bird from a place that specializes in the business and from a store where they are knowledgeable. Besides, it is always worth a few more dollars to support a small business versus a large chain store. I was very glad I visited and will come back to Louis' Bird Store again soon.

I've regretted buying anything from this individual and further more will never ever drive there again I've told him I'm disabled and when will you be there Louis and he will give you a time and Not Honor it and all of this was occurring …

I would never step foot in this place ever again! Both Louis and his staff are EXTREMELY rude. Not only that they are a rip off. $300 for a lovebird?! They do not give prices over the phone so be prepared for outrageous prices when getting there. Birds are also kept in cramped dirty cages with some looking sick and unhealthy. I was able to find much better quality birds at a fraction of what he is charging at tampalovebirds123.com. They ship too!

The store was great, the birds looked healthy, Louis also helped us out picking the right parakeet.Which means he truly cares about the birds.

The hours is not real hours! The items they have is much cheaper than the market. But call them before you go there to make sure they are open!

Owner shows up late (opens at 1pm arrives at 1:21pm) and still has us waiting out here after he got into the store...

I came after work to purchase my daughter a budgie. We ended up getting 2 a hand fed one and a baby one. Louis helped us get the whole set up. Cage , food , water , toys. He chose the perfect bird for my 10 year old he was honest and knowledgeable. ! He sure knows his stuff. I’m in love with my birds and I can’t wait to go back.

Owner was not super friendly and prices were the highest I have ever seen. 1600 dollars for $350 Bird is ridiculous. Store was a mess. Look elsewhere.

Wonderful service! I greatly love the Guinea pig that I bought in your shop last week. The staff was very accommodating and informative to me at that time.

We bought a non-hand fed Buttercup cockatiel this past weekend. The shop is small and basic, they have a variety of birds and the owner was friendly and helpful. A little overpriced, but worth it.

Louis is a good guy and he gave us good deals on the birds.

I went to this animal shelter in need of assistance for my sick puppy. They sent me directions and told me what I needed to do to prevent this from happening again. They have my everlasting gratitude!

Place seems sketchy and there are too many birds in one cage. There are almost 15 parakeets in one small cage and they were constantly fighting and plucking each other’s feathers off. Another thing is I think the birds are pretty expensive charging 50 for one. The only pro is they have many birds and it’s hard to find a store that has different birds. The owner seems a little sketchy but it might just be a feeling.

Louis is knowledgeable and friendly! The shop and cages are well maintained, and the birds are heathy. There was a line, which I understand is common, but so worth it! We will be regular customers for sure!!!

Just wanted to write a review cause I go here a lot, really great place to buy many types of birds, plus the owner is a good guy, he is always honest and is trying to help. He provides some service for birds at a really good price and definitely recommend him. He really loves birds with a passion and if you meet him you can tell. Go and visit, great place!

He has amazing birds I got a a super nice Cockatiel he was hand fed and super friendly my baby brother is 2years old and can hold him without getting bit I recommend him if you would like to get a bird. I had little expirinse whith birds but my cockatiel traned Me. now I have 5 birds but the best one is my cockatilel thank you for great serves Louis.

Louis is an awesome guy he also gave us a great deal with the cage, food, and the 2 parakeets! His birds are so beautiful and well taken care of. He will also clip the wings for you and informative with any questions. There is a long line to get in, but it's worth the wait! I highly recommend this place to all fellow bird lovers!????

After scouring throughout surrounding cities and San jose for a cockatiel, I finally came across Louis birds and went today and was extremely satisfied with all the help I got from louis it is much appreciated!.. my wife ,kids and myself are very excited for a long run with our new companion.. will Definitely be back in the near future To get him a companion of his own! Thanks again!!

They have beautiful birds but the guy who runs the place is very rude .. I dint feel welcome from the minute I walked in

I went into the store yesterday and i had asked if he had any baby cockatiels and he only had one. I got to hold it and pet it and i wss a little nervous at first and now he is attached to me. I love it. This guys knows his stuff about bired and has a good size bird store with supplies. I would say i would go back again later on sometime to even get another bird. :)

There a plenty of birds to choose from! Staff I kind and friendly. I purchased a blue/green/orange peach faced mutation lovebird and he is absolutely adorable! And semi tamed.

Nice place with variety of birds and Louis is awesome.
