I never got to take my pet to the clinic because they cancelled my appointment without notifying me. It's partially their fault and partially mine. They called to confirm the appointment and then cancelled when I didn't respond. But they probably should've have warned me when making the appointment that there would be a phone call coming, to which if I didn't respond they would cancel. Also, it was annoying that I showed up not knowing the appointment was cancelled and they didn't keep any record of it, so they just said I never had an appointment in their system, leading to confusion for a while. I recommend having more clarity with your customers about this policy, both when making the appointment and when you cancel them.

In response to the review by ***Critical!!!*** I had the exact same experience. A nice repres. answered, I explained my situation. I was given to appts. to fit in with my finances...All was ok. I'm put on hold, Another woman got on the phone (Did Not Ask Questions) and said call VCA emergency. I phd VCA and their next available was 11/29/2021. I was quoted a High fee. This is Covid and inflation! Bad Business. Take some pages out of the Broadway Animal Hosp Vet. in El Cajon/in San Diego..Better yet....the whole book.

I have not yet had a visit, however Jackie seemed to be knowledgeable, friendly and EXTREMELY helpful regarding information, tips and what the clinic offers for my 3 week old kitten. Answered all my questions very clearly and patiently. Thank you ! (Looking forward to bringing my pet to this location when she turns ~8 weeks)

They never have availability and send us to an emergency vet clinic which costs way more. Not reliable or dependable. NEVER GET A CALL BACK. Find someone you can depend on!

We are so grateful for this Vet Team. Our two standard poodles have received the best care and respect. We trust the Vet's advice and have had no problems for over five years.

If you have similar symptoms like my dog, don't go here. They are not helpful at all! Taking my dog in as shown in the picture, instead of providing a solution to my dog allergy, I was told to stop giving my dog human food like chicken, carrot, salmon, and rice. Then he only recommends to buy sensitive dog food. I asked him twice if it's ringworm on my dog, and he said no, just allergy. My dog has terrible allergies and skin rashes, and now it's getting worse like in my last updated photo. Not being able to discuss face to face with the doctor is very unpleasant because I can't tell if they take the time to exam my dog or not; it's all about repeating words over my concern of the day for my dog and my dog history. They cannot diagnose what type of allergy she has, and they repeated based on her previous allergy result and repeatedly said she has a big allergy problem. And all I need to do is to provide my dog with a good diet and monitor her. There, my $58 buck is gone. Her rashes keep on developing, and diarrhea reoccurring every other week. I hope I can find a good veterinarian soon. Well, the picture speaks it all; if you have similar symptoms like my dog, go elsewhere.

I called two weeks ago and made an appointment for 2:00pm for a full exam, and I wanted a consultation for vaccinations/neutering. Their front desk called me today, to confirm the appointment I had at 11:30am. I never, ever scheduled an appointment at such time. I explained to the receptionist I have personal training until 11:00am and my daughter gets out of summer school at 12:00pm. Why would I schedule an appointment at 11:30am??? She told me she would cancel it and abruptly hung up. She did not even ask if I wanted to reschedule? Lol. Someone definitely moved my appointment to accommodate someone else without asking if that worked with my schedule. So many people complain about pricing but you turn away new clients who are more than willing to pay. If you like wasting your time, take your chances and schedule here, they may or may not keep your appointment time.

The team is so great here! Even though they're connected to a Petco they're so friendly and knowledgeable. Very happy with how they care for my baby dog!

On the 10th we brought our new dog for a post-adoption checkup at Curtner's and his second Canine Influenza vaccine. The staff had us wait easily 20-30 minutes in the car, past the appointment time. They were caring when they brought him in, and they were polite to us. The doctor was kind when he called us to discuss our new dog, but here's the thing: They lied to us. First, he said that our dog had no dental disease, when he had obvious symptoms, and the medical records from the shelter said that he had mild dental disease. By doing that, it would get progressively worse. Second, he had received two rounds of Canine Influenza. They tried to schedule another, third, round, when he only needed two. All dogs only need two. A third could possibly infect him with Canine Influenza or, most severely, kill him. Third, they lied to us when we called them. We asked the price of the checkup and the vaccine. They said that the checkup was $45, and the vaccine was $28. Well, well, it ended up $55 for the checkup, and the vaccine was $42. Oh, and a needle disposal fee of $5. So, the price we expected was $73, it ended up at $102. That was $29 dollars more than we expected. Fourth, they said that he had received his rounds of lepto vaccine. At first they said that he needed it, then the vet changed his mind. That puts our dog in danger of getting leptospirosis. Overall, by trying to make more money, scamming us along the way, they put the health of our dear dog in danger. Please, do not go to this place. While the customer service is decent, they will risk your dog's health in order to make more money.

Great place, very helpful with whatever help people need there for there pets......if they can, but they only can continue to do that if EVERYONE DONATES!!!!! They provide services because of YOU!!!!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE DONATE JUST A LITTLE BIT, (A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE STRUGGLING, BUT LOVES THERE COMPANIES, FOR A LOT OF US THEY (PETS) ARE HELPING MORE THEN YOU REALIZE, LIKE MYSELF and I WOULD DIE OF A BROKEN HEART OR UNABLE TO KEEP MY SANITY IF I HAD TO GIVE THEM UP.). I have been to many vets in San Jose and none of them care as much as this team. I have never felt pressured for to purchase unwanted services and every person here has been extremely pleasant to interact with. I would rate them 10 stars if I could. Keep up the great work everyone! Update: We had to come here to put one of our cats to sleep. The staff was incredibly kind during the entire process. We weren't rushed and they let us take all of the time we needed. I will be a customer of theirs for as long as they are in business.

Our dog got skin problems and we wasted over hundreds bucks in other clinic without any results. It’s Curtner Clinic solved this problem and our dog fully recovered. I am highly recommended curtner pet clinic!

Now my puppy is fully vaccinated she got her rabies shot all the medicine she needed to get her surgery. She'll be spayed in July. She's worth the spending.

We took our puppy here for all her puppy shots and to be spayed. Staff is always welcoming, friendly with our puppy and other pets as we observed while waiting for our puppy. Customer service is excellent.

Awesome pet clinic! Doctor Singh really cares about animals and he's the best doctor our dog Roady has had. Prices are also great!

Dr Dadwal is experienced, knowledgeable, professional and thoughtful. His communications are excellent providing clear medical understanding in language that all can understand. The staff supporting the Vetrinary MD's are pleasant, helpful and professional. Highly recommend Curtner Pet Clinic.

I had to go here for a very sad reason of putting my dog down. He was with us for 10 years and dr.dadwahl understood, very well bed side manners and they really take care of you here.
