Temple City Animal Hospital San Gabriel , California

Unbelievable....they're pricey and made me feel like my dog needed so much treatment. They quoted me $800 for blood work and x-rays and then $1400 for his dental. Plus the office visit ofcourse. I brought him to another reputable doctor and the whole visit plus blood work and his dental came to $865.00. Don't be fooled by them. They also sold me a bag of glucosamine chews for $57.00 and on line the same bag was $37.00. They are rip off artists. Overpriced for sure. If you don't care about money and want to throw it out the window , we'll my all means this is the place to go.

This is one of the best veterinary hospitals in the area, especially for cat owners. I’ve taken my two cats here on three separate occasions, and the facility is always clean, the staff is very knowledgeable, and my cats receive excellent care. The waiting room is large enough that cat owners can be seated far away from dogs and the rooms are relatively sound-proof, so my kitties couldn’t hear any barking. I’m especially impressed with how kind and attentive the veterinary technicians are at this clinic. My male cat is a very uncooperative patient and quick to growl or hiss at the staff, but they still treat him with respect. I appreciate how gentle and patient they are with my little gremlin— they clearly love and understand cats here, doing everything in their power to reduce stress among their patients.

This's a really great pet vet. Today, I brought my dog MIA to the vet and meet with Dr. HU. She is very professional and kindly respond all of our questions and concerns. She gave Mia helpful treatment. The charges of the hospital is reasonable. I highly recommend to check this Hospital when you pet needed. We decide let Dr.Hu as MIA's primary vet.

Temple city animal hospital has made my vaccine process for My puppy Chapo the smoothiest and easiest I could've ever thought . They are very friendly, They have alot of good knowledge and good recommendations. Just very helpful staff overall . Will recommend to anyone and everyone for your pet needs . I forsure won't be taking my dog anywhere else other than temple city animal hospital ! .

Depending on who is working determines the experience. The last time I was there. The wait in the waiting room was over an hour. The Vet. Intern was new and hurt my cat while trying to take her temperature than lied, my cat jumped and didn't want anything to do with the process. He was not gentle. She was hurt. I waited in the exam room for 50 more minutes and never saw a Vet. I packed up and left. I will not be going back there. I was uneasy with past visits. I have had only two good visits out of five. That is why I will not be back. They didn't ask why I was leaving, don't think they cared.

This vet is a joke. Dr. Gih did a less than 5 minute examination that was useless. Dr. Gih please tell me anything about my pet other than his heartbeat. The staff is rude, disrespectful and immediately put blame on the client. Specially Nancy the receptionist who claimed I "refused payment" and "didn't like the way i spoke to her" because they didn't have my file open to get my phone number. Upon talking to the manager Kelly, LOL. That's a joke as well. I look forward to speaking to their higher management. Unprofessional. I'm upset at myself for allowing this office to "care" for my dog. And also, change your god awful hold music if you're going to put everyone on hold for 20plus minutes.

Good doctors with friendly staff, and clean facility

Great service..very kind doctors and staff this was two years ago and back.We loved our Pet hospital.It was a friendly, Ioving and caring enviroment.The receptionist were very courtious and nice.They were really good at returning our calls. They would answer the calls promptly and were very helpful.Now they answer with an attitude, when they answer! Now I'll be lucky it they answer their phones.the phone will just ring but it's never picked up. when they say they will call me back they don't.If they tell me they will call me so I can pick up meds. They don't.It is so hard to get a hold of them.They are not helpful at all .These are just a few of the things I've experienced recently..and no, I know what number to call and its the same number I called. This week my cat has been sick and I called them to have him seen. The receptionist said that they had no availability until Thursday but that the doctor was going to prescribe a medication that would get it ready and call me for pick up and they never call me back I spent hours trying to call them to see if the meds were ready and they never picked up the phone. After hours of insisting they answered just to tell me that they would see if the medication was available and they would call me back. Never got back to me. Never returned my call. And no medication. No follow back. I am so disappointed with this place.

I had to put my older dog (18) to sleep. That was my experience!!!????????????????

I loaded my cat in her carrier and headed to the vet for my 3:00 pm appointment. When I got there I was told they didn't have me on the schedule and wanted to schedule me for a different day. Pretty provoking.

they simply lost me as a customer because they were rude and their attitude implied that they wouldn't care for my pet properly. I was in dire need of pet service and they were the only ones to accept me BUT I chose to drive all the way to Pasadena to go to a pet hospital with better attitude and customer service. If I were the owners of Temple City animal hospital I would make sure my people at the front desk are welcoming to new customers

Been taking my pets here for years, great vets! clean & helpful but a bit pricey for some treatments compare to other local vets. But its convenient, you get what you pay for! Good Vets and good service!!

Amazing staff. They pick up the phone right away, answer with a pleasant demeanor and always answer my questions. I brought my dog in for a physical since my last office in Monrovia went downhill and have been coming here ever since. Even through Covid 19, this office has not skipped a beat. Friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because the prices are on the higher side, but I understand you get what you pay for. A great place if you are looking for a good Vet.

So far Dora has no negative reaction to visiting this place, which makes me comfortable to bring her here.

Worst hospital ever, my dog almost died because of there careless. Only worrying about how I was gonna pay. I'm so upset they did not care. Please watch out for your money. Will have to submit a investigation for this animal hospital and there vets.

I've been taking my canines here since I was a boy playing soccer/baseball with one of the former vet's sons. Some 35+ years later and I won't take my dogs anywhere else. They're the best all around: vets, techs, office staff. All are tops!

Most ridiculous pandemic policy. If you are a new resident in the area, do NOT call for euthanasia service or they will tell you you cannot come in (and I am fully vacvinated).
