Dr. Iburg and staff are wonderful!!! We weren't sure how bringing our new little kitten to get first shot and deworm was going to work out with Covid-19 running it's virulent course, but they are set-up to ensure complete safety through use of back of building staging area so you don't have to enter building, and a personal call from Dr. Iburg to go over any needed treatment. The icing on the cake is this facility offers professional services at a very reasonable price. Before I started using this vet I called for a price to get my other cat neutered and they quoted 3X the rate of Whiskers To Tails, yet I assure you there is no compromise in care and if anything this facility seems to go beyond what has been my experienced at other vets whose complex may seem to be more polished, but the expense of all that polishing has driven their rates sky high. Well done Whiskers To Tails, you are the Cat's Meow!!!

OMG stay away I’d give them zero stars. I took my cat with a painful chronic condition to Dr. Iburg and she has disturbing views on pain management in pets. She literally told me that humans get used to being in wheelchairs so cats eventually just get used to pain. What the heck kind of inappropriate analogy is that? Any animal pain is unacceptable. She dispensed Tramadol for my cat’s pain and the quality of life declined. The other vet told me that specific medication is not effective for cats. The front desk manager (?) Rosy shows very problematic and obnoxious behavior as other reviewers have noted. A cat patient’s mom came in to ask why her pet’s medication was never ordered and Rosie told her she forgot to call and confirm the rX without so much as an apology. The owner was practically in tears. It’s the job of a vet’s office to confirm rX meds the pet owners can’t do so on their own, it’s the law SMH. I also heard her take phone calls, put those calls on hold, then make fun of those clients to other office staff. At my last appointment there Dr Iburg started venting that she can’t buy modern equipment because she has an old car. Seriously? Ugh do your pets a favor and find a decent place with better staff and less drama and sketch. The only reason they seem to have a clientele is because they don’t charge what other vets do. If you need discounted care that’s top notch go to a vet hospital affiliated with a university veterinary science program.

Dr. Iberg isn't there to upsell, she problem solves. She's not trying to get to your wallet. She's super smart and cares about your cat.

Dr. Iburg I call Dr. Iburg “the cat whisperer.” One of my cats is not a people person and she somehow has a magic touch with her. Very experienced and knowledgeable of cats. I have brought my cats here since 2008 and unfortunately even had to put one down here. It was her time. Very empathetic to customers. Gave me a private room to take my time to spend with Josie to say my goodbyes. Rosie and Marlene work the front desk. They are the best. I bring my 5 year old boy here with me and they are so good to him allowing him to pet the “house cats” and house dogs (chihuahuas). My cats are old and need more visits than most cats. I have come to trust Whiskers to Tails with their well-being. Highly recommend.

Whiskers and Tails. I brought my cats in to be fixed. Apparently the vet and/or staff did not know they were my pets. They thought the cats were from a wild cat colony. My cats were not given pain medication to go home with like other cats I saw leave after same surgery. Also 4 of them came home with MANGE. The mange started In their eye area where they put lubricant for surgery preparation. An employee by the name of Rosie was rude, disrespectful, and in sensitive. I mentioned to her I had 2 of my cats in the garage so they could not get pregnant. It was around the 4th of July and was over 100 degrees. Rosie responsed by saying "I don't care". I asked if I could speak to the Dr. I was told "no". I told a Spanish staff member what happened she got mad. I told a different staff member her response was "that's your pet"? I said "yes". Then I was able to speak to the Dr privately. As soon as she finished discussing my cats issues. I tried to discuss my experience with Rosie. Our meeting was terminated.

Dr. Iburg and her staff have been superb in their care and treatment of my two elderly cats. Dr. Iburg is the only vet who has been able to properly diagnose and treat my cats, and was able to alleviate years of chronic irritable bowel syndrome and ear problems, respectively. Dr. Iburg's suggested treatment and care made an immediate difference and improvement in the health of my animals. I have complete and total confidence in her and Whiskers to Tails. Their prices are very reasonable and they are friendly, caring, professional and competent.

I have been a client of Dr Iburg for years, I have had several cats treated there and I have complete confidence in her abilities and her staff. There are times when they office is really busy but that was because people had brought ill cats in too late and they were trying to save them before handling the routine visits. I for one can wait knowing someone's baby is in distress, because once it was my cat that needed their urgent attention. It is a small private practice so she is not limited in the time she can spend with you and your cat, unlike the large corporate practices that insist their vet's limit their visits to 15 minutes or less. But that also means her office can be off schedule and you may have to wait for an appointment. But I find it worth the wait!
