I really enjoy the staff and the whole feel of Bernal Beast. They're super helpful when you need them to be and chill when you just wanna browse. One thing I love about them is how I feel like I can trust their products. It seems like they only stock things that are good for the health of the pet. Prices on most things are reasonable for what they are. I just get a vibe that a lot of love goes into maintaining this place. It really draws me to it!

Online order. Great prices on what I was looking for so I was willing to wait for shipping. Couple items were missing so I contacted Bernal Beast. Fast response and missing items were here in a couple days and I’m in OH. EXCELLENT response time, resolution and customer service. I will definitely order from them again as needs arise. I ordered a large (expensive) bag of dog food from Bernal Beasts on June 15th. On June 16th I got an email saying from Jason stating they couldn't fulfill the order until later and asking if I wanted to keep or cancel the order. I wrote back right away saying I needed the dog food sooner and to please cancel the order but I looked forward to being a customer in the future. It has been more than a week since and I have not heard from anyone at Bernal Beasts regarding the cancelled order. I have not received a refund or the dog food either. I have not gotten a response to any of my emails and cannot get answer when I call the shop. When someone takes your money and doesn't provide the products or services, I believe that is called stealing.

Great place to get organic chicken feed and other supplies on main drag of bernal heights. Usually not hard to find parking.

Also have great online service easy to order from with repeat orders very flexible if things need to be changed started and stopped. I appreciate the customer service and they found them very easy to work with. Excellent group

I like this shop with it's General Store for animals vibe. The bath area is convenient also.

I have ordered dog foods online. The prices are similar to Amazon. They had a promotion “free delivery in over 49$ purchase” but if applied some parts only. But I purchased over 104$ free delivery applied parts but was charged 6.10$ UPS fee. Do not understand the policy.

Best place for chicken feed in SF

Bernal Beast is the best pet supply store I've ever been to. Lindsey is awesome and knows a ton about dogs and dog food. Whenever I bring my dogs in here they don't want to leave.

I would have given them 5 stars except the person working was being distracted by deliveries. I needed a couple questions answered before i bought pet food. My cat has health issuse and i need to feed him food thats specific to his needs. Next time i go to Bernal Beast ill do it later in the day and hopfully ill get all the info i need.

Great prices for floating aquarium plants not commonly availiable in most pet stores (frogbit and duckweed). Also as added bonus there was a malaysian trumpet snail hitch hiker.

This place has all the basics for all your pet needs and is one of the only locations in Bernal Heights for pet supplies. I tried going this past weekend to purchase a clicker so that I can train my dog and some dog food. The clicker was $1 more than Pet Food Express and the dog food I was purchasing was $2 more than at Pet Food express. If you live in Bernal Heights, this is a great store to go to because of the convenience factor. If you're trying to save a few dollars, you can go to Pet Food Express.
