I was very happy that they were able to accommodate my pet emergency. Friendly staff, professional service, and fair pricing. The vet was very informative and everything was explained clearly. A+ Thank you guys!

I took my young cat there and they wanna charge me 1500???? after I told me i don't have that much with me and they asked "do you have a credit card"? They just want to milk your money! And after the vet visit my cat looks super depressed and don't want to contact with people I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY DID TO MY CAT!

I just feel like they overcharge for everything..

My dog passed away because of these dishonest thieves.

My dog just had TPLO surgery for a torn ACL and he's doing fantastic! They are taking wonderful care of him and I highly recommend this vet! During this pandemic it was so hard to find a surgeon and Dr. Greco did an amazing job! The girls have been taking such great care of him, again thank you everyone in the front and especially to Dawn, Bridget and Ally ❤???? All of you are awesome❣

With 4 paws you know your dog and your wallet is in good hands. They don't try to come up with ways to charge you. They care about the dogs well being and what they recommend is ways that really helps your pet . I used to take my dog to VCA west Bernardo hospital and God! I can't believe how they rip you knowing people care about their dogs and will do anything. Not cool. Thank you 4 paws. Glad I found you.

I have been going here for years. Bit pricey at times but you absolutely get loving caring service which is valuable. They remember clients by name which I like too. Great team at the 4 paws!

Would not take my shepherds anywhere else. Love Dr. Barnes and the staff. They love the animals that walk through their doors and it shows. Attention to detail, thoroughly explain everything in exams and visits. Would not trust my babies with anyone else.

This review is based on the brunette woman who grooms and trims the dogs nails. I never had the opportunity to meet any of the doctors at this facility, because I decided to move to a different vet after multiple bad experiences with the vet techs who trim the nails. I have a Belgian Malinois who has a extremely hard time letting people trim his nails, but I was reassured several times that 4Paws was more than equipped to handle it. Unfortunately they were not, and I ended up $25 for only two nails to be double trimmed. This last time ( the third visit), none of the nails were trimmed or even drummeled, and the woman called the front desk technicians and demanded that they charged me double. I said ok, because I just wanted my dogs nails trimmed. It’s a stressful situation for him and I just wanted it over with. When I looked at his nails before we left, I said his nails are not trimmed and the brunette woman just shrugged her shoulders and said he gave her a hard time. If a dog is past your handling capabilities you need to be honest and say so not charge double the amount. I will be filing a complaint with bureau of consumer affairs.

This review is for boarding only. The back room where the small dogs are kept is not air conditioned or certainly does not feel like it. It is damp in there and warm. Outside temperature is in the eighties. The front office is very cool and ac is blasting there. Washer and dryer runs all day in the back room where the small dogs are kept. Certainly not pleased about this and was given the run around with the responses of the temperature of the room. They said they will bring in fans. Sorry fans do not reduce the temperature. My dog was lethargic probably from the warm back room. She lay on the cold tile when returning, unusual behavior, never did that before. The service there was great and wished the back room was air conditioned and quiet (washer dryer running).

Great food, attentive staff, and an adorable atmosphere. Edit: Google prompted me to review a restaurant i went to. I'm very confused as to why it got attached to an animal hospital. Sorry. I'm sure that this place is lovely too, but dont expect food. Haha.

They state on line their hours are M-F open til 5:30. I called at 4:15 & the outgoing message confirms they are open til 5:30. Then the recording says they are closed. Its only 4:15. What gives? I use them bc they are so close to home but quite honestly, they charge more than most vets in the area and now this. Disappointing....

Do not go here they just milk money out of you.When I went with my dog they said they had to put him to sleep just to get his nails cut because he is scared of other people.Then at the end they said it would be $1,300. Ridiculous.

Been with Dr. Massey for years - he's great! Recent saw a new doctor there when Dr. Massey wasn't in, Dr. Gutman. Really smart, spends lots of time with you. Answers all your questions.

I went here when we first moved to the 4S Ranch area. I have three cats, and for a fecal exam for 1 of them to diagnose a stomach bug, it cost us over $450. This is a nice place, but it's definitely not friendly to the old bank account.

The staff is amazing! I wouldn't take my fur babies to any other vet.

I just love Dr Barnes and Dr Cory! And so does my dog! Whenever it's time to go see one of them, I just say let's go see Dr Barnes and he is at the door, wagging his tail. Everyone at 4 Paws makes Brinkley feel loved and special. He thinks they are all playing with him when he is being examined or treated. I also love the groomers and the quality of work they do. Brinkley always looks so handsome when he leaves. Just be sure if you want a grooming that you call well in advance as they are very busy.

Love 4 Paws - always responsive and attentive to my dog. Dr Barnes is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.

We were looking for a vet close to home (Del Sur) and at our first appointment, we had a wonderful experience with Dr. Massy. He was professional, very thorough and extremely pleasant. I have been to many vets between my three dogs and 5 surgeries, and I feel better than ever about taking my dogs to Dr. Massy. Thank you 4 Paws team who were also very welcoming and organized!
