I just had my 11 year old dog’s teeth cleaned. I was scared about the process but everyone was reassuring and nice. I received texts throughout the day with updates. My dog is home with fresh breath! So pleased!!!!

Who wants to pay $500 or more for a simple diagnostic? Welcome Mexivet express! They took care of my cat for me and he was in good hands.

Long story short. We live in Chula Vista and adopted a dog 5 years ago. A year after the adoption we noticed he had chronic itching among other things. For 4 years we took him to various Vets, clinics etc as well as big named ones in the area. Meds and treatments and no one could give a diagnosis . He scratched so much that he would walk off to hide and scratch every chance unless he was carried or if we yelled to get him to stop he would just keep doing it or go anywhere else he thought we could not see him. He had to be watched 24/7, it was so bad that we had contacted the adoption agency and was ready to relinquish him. After asking in our community facebook page, MexiVet was recommended several times. After a lot of back and forth on if we should send him...it was really hos last resort before relinquishing him. They first gave a good consultation over the phone with a younh lady who suggested a few things to start with and then we set an appointment. As soon as he was picked up and taken to the Vet, the Vet knew EXACTLY what his was and suggested to leep him to see which treatment worked bedt. After 3 days he was returned an was a NORMAL dog. It felt weird to not be on watch 24/7. It was life changing for him and our family. We were NOT charged an arm and a leg and a lung for the treatment and now they are the ONLY ones we send our Fur baby to. Drivers are SUPER friendly, stay in contact and seem to really like the animals and their job. We will CONTINUE to use them untiliur old guy reaches his last years. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH TO THE ENTIRE CREW AND TEAM AT MEXIVETS. You have truly Blessed our quality of life with our little old guy. He's a lot of bark and no bite for treatments lol but you all have been AMAZING.

I was nervous to let my pup travel out of country w/o me. I've never done that. Anna, who's the owner, answered all my overbearing questions and concerns lol. She even accommodated to my pup being on car seat belt instead of kennel, which I really appreciated. Along w cute picture updates, I was on the phone with her during the vet consultation where she translated my questions and concerns I had for dotcor. Afterwards, they were in line to cross border for about 20-30 minutes with the cool A.C on. I was reunited with my pup and was given meds for her infection w/ instructions in English. All in all, my pup was seen, treated and transported in TJ, MX for half the price any U.S. vet would charge. Definitely recommend and will use their services again!

Anna and her team have been absolutely amazing. My older dog Mercedes had a tumor on her leg and the cost to operate locally was overwhelming. We learned of MexiVet Express through a friend and couldn't be happier with their service. Dr. Alexander is a very skilled surgeon and their team has provided the utmost care and excellent service for our gal at a fraction of the cost. She just completed her 3rd round of chemo therapy and is doing amazing. I can't say enough good things about MexiVet and their outstanding service!

Cannot say enough about these people. They completely take the hassle out of taking your dog to the vet and save you 70 cents on the dollar. People that dealt with were amazing my dog warmed up to them instantly. I got probably $1200 worth of work done on my dog for around $350 and I never had to leave my house. I would recommend these people to anybody it's a genius concept that they came up with

Wonderful service, Communication is great and price is on point. Anna and Chris were both very helpful and Dr. Alexander explained everything before and after surgery for my dogs. He was very nice and open to answering all questions that I had. Will 100% use the service again.

I went to Dr Alexander the vet that they utilize in Mexico they did a surgery on my dog and ended up doing damage to her sciatica nerve and doing an orthopedic surgery which ended up with an amputation in the United States I would not use them for any type of orthopedics surgery

I cannot even begin to express the gratitude I have for this company. I was quoted a ridiculous figure by a vet in Rancho San Diego to clean my dog's teeth and perform testing that seemed to often lead to something else. It wasn't something I could afford, especially now. That evening when I returned home, I began researching other options. I came across MexiVet Express and Anna. It was a perfect fit for us. I will admit, at first I was skeptical thinking "this is too good to be true" and "what's the catch?" But I can tell you in all honesty, this is absolutely TRUE and there is NO catch. Anna was very good with communication, always honest and very caring. She arrived on time in the morning for pick-up, kept me informed throughout the day and texted with the estimated drop-off time, so I was ready when she returned. There is nothing I can say that isn't positive about this experience! Finding MexiVet Express is a "game-changer". We now have someone to count-on for all of our veterinary needs. Such a great service! I was extremely nervous dropping off my dog with a stranger to go to a vet in another country but Anna, Chris, and TJ made the experience very professional and pleasant. I got updates throughout the day and it definitely eased my mind. My vet quoted me over 1500 dollars for a tooth extraction, with a baby on the way and the cost of living in San Diego it was going to be a huge set back. I was trying to find the best quality and priced vet I could and Anna at Mexivet seemed like a perfect fit. I ended up paying just over 300 dollars which was a 1200 dollar savings! Not to mention my vet wanted me to wait 4 weeks before they had time to preform the dental, Anna got me in in 3 days. I am so thankful and will definitely be using in the future!

The staff at MexiVet Express are very friendly and helpful. They have taken our dog down to Mexico for multiple veterinarian visits. Our dog received great care for an affordable price.

Great service by Anna who is caring and loving with my 9 yr old dog. She communicates well, is honest and reliable. She's tops. Vet services were great, and only needed services were performed with prior approval via Anna's communication. I can’t say enough to thank Anna for the work she does. My dog wasn't eating as usual. She would just sit looking at her food. Looked like she wanted to eat but something was wrong. I checked her teeth and found she got one tooth loose. I instantly started to call vet clinics making an appointment. But it wasn't that easy. I only could get an appointment in 2 weeks or so. I was very scared because my dog, Betty wasn't eating and the tooth looked kind of weird. Finally, we got an appointment the next day! We went to the vet clinic and the doctor didn’t see the tooth is loose. The doctor told me she might have other problems that why she doesn't want to eat and, said we need to do the blood test to find out. I told them Betty does want to eat just something bothering her. So the blood test results showed that she is completely healthy. And as you understand the blood test is not free the same as the visit. So we paid for nothing but decided to make an appointment for cleaning and extraction in 2 weeks! 2 weeks! My dog wasn't eating and she is 10 years old. I was very worried about her. I really didn’t want to get her teeth cleaned there especially after they didn’t find any problems. So we continued searching for a vet clinic when my husband found Anna. I would never leave my dog with anyone! I’m serious! My dog is always with me! But I immediately trusted Anna. We made an appointment in the next couple of days. Door to door service. She was texting me all the time with Betty’s pictures and just overall letting me know that’s going on. The prices are great as well. So Betty is happy, with amazing clean teeth.100% recommend!

I was referred by a good friend, but still very nervous about sending my fur baby across the border with a complete stranger, but Anna was great at answering all my questions and putting me at ease. She went through the who process and once she arrived at the vet she send pictures of my sweet boy ( before and after surgery). She was in constant communication by text or phone. She went over everything the doctor did and the recovery instructions. She even check in on the next day and several days later. Thanks again for taking such great care of our sweet boy

This company is amazing. I found a vet that would do surgery in Mexico for 1/3 the cost of it in the US. However that means crossing the border which could be an inconvenience and time consuming. That's when the vet told me they work with MexiVet. Which was a no brainer for me. Anna picked my dog up at my house. She was so sweet and I immediately felt comfortable. She sent me text messages and called me to keep me updated. She was awesome when it came to getting my questions answered because she can reach out to the vets personally. Her pricing is ????. SHE IS AWESOME!

Anna is amazing. My 11 year old Westie started having orthopedic issues and I knew that would not be an affordable issue on this side of the border. I contacted Anna and she provided me with details and options on the recommended Veterinarians in Tijuana. We agreed on one and she was able to get me an appointment within days. We met in San Diego and and she took over the process from there. She kept me in the loop of the process and would provide me daily updates with pictures. The medical issue was complicated because the dog damaged one her hind legs and the situation got worst because she shifted all of her weight to the other hind leg. In the end, both hind legs were operated. Chelsea is starting to go through the recuperating process but she looks great and she is very active and almost back to her old self. The service is reliable, honest and dependable. Will definitely use her services in the future.

I cannot even begin to speak to the quality of care that Anna and her team give with the clients they serve. She's ???? the best thing that's happened to animal medicine in a long time. First, the cost is a fraction of local services. Second, the care is amazing. Where every vet I went to in the area immediate wanted to charge for cleaning and pulling teeth, Dr. Alexander was able to save his teeth AND ultrasonically clean them. Third, SHE PICKS UP YOUR pet!!! Literally, door to door care! Finally, this last time I asked for an awesome hat for my pup. And she delivered!!!! I'm so grateful for you!

I would definitely TOTALLY recommend MexiVet EXPRESS to all my friends and family. The price is great, the service is above awesome. Anna loves our Marley. Marley is a 9 y.o. Jack russell, with scoliosis issues since birth, Anna picks her up at our home, takes care across the border to Dr Alexander's office to get her spine treatments, Marley is doing much better, she got her XR's, MRI, lab work for the fraction if the cost it would've been here in San Diego. We have given Anna the key to our house to pick up Marley while we were out of town, and she brought her back from Vet, left her in her bed, made sure she had food and water nearby until we came back. TOTAL TRUST. She is very very professional and has a soft spot for animals. She put her heart into her work. She is constantly sending us updates while in consultation with the vet, sending us pictures, live videos during consultation, just as we were there, without the need to cross the border. Takes Venmo for our payments, which makes it very convenient. She transports our Marley in very clean and sanitized crates, she goes above and beyond for our Marley. I recommend her to EVERYONE !!

All the can say is Anna the Mexivet is amazing!!! My 15 year old blind yorkie needed to get his eyes removed, the vet here was gonna charge me $3,500-$4,000. I was seriously considering taking out a loan when my sister told me about Anna! And boy do I wish I found her sooner!! I have to say when I first looked into sending my most beloved yorkie to Mexico I didn’t really think I could do it! And after reading some of the yelp reviews for some of the vets in Mexico I was more then nervous (even so I would say the yelp reviews for all the vets in San Diego have the equivalent amount of good and bad reviews as the Mexico ones) and then I called Anna and talked to her on the phone! As soon as I talked to her there was something so reassuring about her that I felt comfortable with sending Sparkles with her! She is more than knowledgeable about all work that my dog needed from the anesthesia to the meds for his aftercare. What is even more amazing is that she picked Sparkles up right from home! Which I think helped him out since I would of been stressed the whole car ride. The vets did a great job with his surgery and Anna brought him home too!! So far he is doing great with his recovery and Anna will take him back to down to get his stitches removed! I very highly recommend Mexivet!! She also is very prompt responding to you!! And did so much work with getting all the info from my vet too!!
