This is the best vet center on the planet! I'm pretty sure my pup has seen every person in there at this point, and I always feel like we're in such good hands. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. He needed to have an emergency surgery earlier in the year, and they were able to squeeze him in their day last minute, versus having me take him to the animal hospital for the surgery. That saved me a potential $5,000 - $10,000 alone, and I'll never be able to thank them enough. Thank you for everything!

I have been going to KMVC for years, the staff and Dr. Barre are the best and they take great care of my 2 labs, sometimes even going above and beyond the rules to accommodate my old dog that has a ton of issues. Dr. Barre never pushes for exams or tests that are not really needed and he will try and make you save money when possible. I highly recommend.

Great Dr and they treat my dog Skud so good. He has eye problems.

I find that they're very informative the doctors they do not talk down to you they bend over backwards to accommodate you and your pet I appreciate it all that the doctor has done for Frankie and has reassured me of his well-being

We moved from NY to SD 6 months ago and found KMVC after researching vets in our area. Our two middle aged cats have received very good care for everything from preventative care, dental, and orthopedic surgery. The staff and docs at KMVC are caring and considerate, laying out your options and working with you to arrive at the best care plan. Unlike some other vets, I don't feel like they're upselling. They also practice careful COVID protocols.

The clinic and staff are fine, but they get a 1-star review because in order to get a refill for Nexgard (flea meds), I had to PICK UP A HAND-WRITTEN PRESCRIPTION to mail to 1-800-PetMeds. However, this is a CLINIC-SPECIFIC policy. 1-800-PetMeds accepts a phone call, fax, or email from the clinic for this Rx. But Kearny Vesa Vet Clinic not only required a hand-written Rx, they refused to mail it for me. I had to drive to the clinic and pick it up so I could mail it for fulfillment. I will be looking for a new vet clinic soon because this is absurd. I only left my old clinic because I moved far away.

I made the switch to this vet about a year ago because they're closer to me than my previous vet and I don't regret it. Their staff are well trained and fast, helpful and responsive. It's usually pretty easy to book an appointment and the vets are great at sending me follow up recommendations when I want to know more about something concerning my dog's health. Overall a great place to take your pet.

I just started taking my kitty here for routine vaccines. We also have a dog but he hadn't gone there before because he's utd on all vaccines. Well two days ago he dug up some gopher poisoning in my yard and became deathly ill immediately. I called and said my husband is running out the door to you. I was told they wouldn't see him because he is not an established patient there?!!! And instead gave me numbers to emergency vets. Ive owned animals for years and gone to vets all over the country and have NEVER experienced this. I'm still dumbfounded. I am an established client there yet you refuse to see my other animal during an emergency? Not okay. Taking my business elsewhere.

We always get such great care for our pets. It is very personal care and we are lucky to have found them.

Dr Cross and everyone at KMVET have failed to contact us with results in over a month for our 15yr old dog. We’re still waiting! Regardless of how busy vet clinics may be - it’s poor practice to not follow thru with your paying customers. We’ve been visiting this center for over 8 years and there has been a huge decline of service from this center. Seems like this “team” of workers can’t get it together and it’s unacceptable.

This Veterinary Center was a life saver, literally. The entire staff was so caring and professional. My son and I had to bring his cat in for treatment and they took us that day after they had a cancellation. The staff listened to my son and even let him "assist" with the treatment. They took the time to explain everything and were so friendly and professional. I will definitely bring my cat back and any future pets I might have!

I know my cats are in good hands everytime I bring them here.

Our dog Annie ripped her dewclaw and it was really bothering her. Kearney Mesa Vet Center was able to see Annie right away. They picked her up at the curb took her in and fixed her up in no time. We have other pets that we have taken here in the past and I feel they really try to get you in quickly. We are happy to have a place we feel comfortable taking our pets to.

I made the switch to Kearny Mesa Veterinary Center recently and I give them a 10/10. They were super polite and considerate. They answered all of my questions and came up with a clear treatment plan for my cat. My cat also seemed way more relaxed after the visit. I will be returning to them for all my furniture pet needs. These people only want to sell you unnecessary items. They try to “patch” the issue with your pet by suggesting temporary solutions which keeps you coming back to spend more of your hard earned money. Secondly, I emailed the doctor to ask questions about one of my previous visits, her reply had no answers to my posed questions and again tried to sell me something that I didn’t need. I’ve emailed the assistant to get in touch with the doctor three times since and have had no response. The professionalism here is nonexistent.

I was referred by a friend to this vet and visited for the first time with one of my dogs Honey. I have been looking for an honest vet in the area because Balboa Vet who I had been going to on and off for 10+ years had been sadly dishonest with me about a different dog's health. With that being said, Honey was just going in for her glands to be expressed, a nail trim, and an annual check up. Dr. Moss is who performed the head to toe check up while I was on the telephone. I was impressed by that because the last vet didn't do that. Dr. Moss was thorough, professional, personable and asked me if she had answered all of my questions and concerns. I felt very much at ease with Dr. Moss and she came across as very genuine which is just what I am looking for in regards to someone caring for my dog. I felt she had my dogs best interest at heart. She is very knowledgable in her field and her staff is fantastic!!! I have decided to have all thee of my dogs transferred to this vet office moving forward. I highly recommend this vet office.
