Amazing staff and welcoming salon....Gabriel was the best groomer I've encountered in a long time and his team is superbly trained.

4 out 5 stars. They are probably the best groomers in San Diego, especially for Poodles. They are competitively priced against other top quality groomers with a good location and nice in store shopping experience. Where they lose a star is with their scheduling. They recommended I come in every month and alternate between Full Grooms & Bath and Trims (for touch ups between full grooms). July was my dogs first appointment. A full groom. We schedule a tidy up for August. We show up in August for a tidy up, but they had written down we were here for a Full Groom (much more $$). I corrected them saying it's only been one month since his last Full Groom and we planned on this one being a touch up/tidy session. They correct it and do the Tidy up (a fine job). So I drop him off today expecting a Full Groom (we discussed this in August when I was paying and we were clarifying the schedule for my poodle), and they said he was slotted for a "trim only" and not a full groom. Mind blown. Literally stood in the store in August for 10 minutes with the front desk guy talking through Chip's schedule for the next couple months and his grooming plan. How they continue to get it wrong is actually baffling and frustrating. Also, if you have a cancellation at 9:30am and again at 10a, please don't call me at 9:31 asking if I want to bump up my appointment time now that you have availability. I planned my entire work day around Chip being dropped off at 1pm and being there for multiple hours. It's not easy for some people to alternate their schedules that last minute. Overall, I really like the place because they truly care about your grooming experience, have top quality groomers, use the best supplies, clean store, easy location, really love dogs, fair pricing for the quality you get and pretty easy to schedule appointments after you become an existing customer. But they need to work on their customer service / scheduling system for it to be a 5/5.

Loving care!! We had the good fortune to be referred to Gabriel for what ended up being the last years of our Brussels Griffon's life. The grooming was always impeccable, but more importantly, Gabriel really loved our Waldorf. A few times he would mention some change in Waldorf's behavior or health. The vet generally agreed and said we had an excellent groomer. Thank you, Gabriel, for taking the best possible care of our little boy.

Gabriel (Gabe) and his entire staff are top shelf. If you want quality service and caring hearts then bring your pets here. Our Jerry is a Cavapoo and has been going to Gabe since he got his first haircut and style a little over a year ago. Jerry is excited to see everyone there and always comes.out of the salon looking so good. Abram always listens to my needs for Jerry every month as we are forever going from a long cut to a short cut and they always get it right. If your looking for a service to care for your pets grooming needs this is the 1st place you should go.

Great cut! Really hard to get an appointment. Non-responsive when requesting. But, when they do the cut is amazing.

Wonderful, professional, kind, knowledgeable, patient, and excellent in every aspect with my very anxious energetic puppy. All staff were generous with their time and Gabriel shared loads of information with us on how we can train and prepare our puppy for grooming. My puppy looks like velvet and smells glorious. Don't hesitate book now.

Finally, a group of professional in this field who really cares and knows about dogs. Excellent customer service, they have time to listen, acknowledge and explain what's best for your dogs.

Gabriel and Abram are the BEST! My dog Hope loves her grooming appointments, as these two treat her like a princess! She is a Welsh Terrier and hard to find a groomer that knows how to make her look like a WT. Gabriel grooms her perfectly, he makes her look like a show dog! Of course he knows all about making our fur babies show ready! 5 paws up!

Wow. If this is not the nicest grooming salon I ever been to I don’t know what is. First off, I am so impressed how pristine this beautiful location is. Super clean and I love how friendly the staff is. I am so grateful to have someone who loves Rusty as much as I do! I am a super picky and a helicopter mom so to have this kind of level of love of Rusty means the world to me! Thank you!

Love their attentiveness and gentleness with my 2 little pups. I've searched for several groomers since moving to SD and while they've all been good, GF Grooming checks off all the boxes. Every staff member I've had interaction with has been upbeat and positive, patiently trying to figure out the vision I'm struggling to convey for my dog's cut. The place is CLEAN, almost doesn't smell like a groomers spot, which for anyone familiar with various grooming spots, you know that's not easy. When I've come back for corrections they've been wonderful and understanding and always excited to see my little ones. My older pup has signs of a collapsing trachea (????) and they accommodate that by utilizing a harness instead of the leash. Great spot, great vibe, great experience all around

I came here after reading great reviews, however after taken my dog here, I’m trying to figure out where all these reviews came from. The service my pet received was mediocre, it has been less than two weeks since I brought him there and already he needs another hair cut. I will definitely say this place was overpriced for poor service. Safe to say, we will not be back there..

I always recommend Gabriel, it’s blasphemy if I don’t. #1 groomer I’ve had hands down and his staff is always friendly and my pup is always excited to go in.

Gabriel and his team are great with the dogs. Sometimes the dogs act like they don't want to leave when I go to pick them up. They take the time to point out things (no matter how little) that they notice on the dogs that a dog owner should care about, which I always appreciate.

My two Pomeranian puppies hadn’t had a good grooming in 3 months, and they came out looking amazing! Super soft and smelled great! Thank you for taking good care of my puppies!!

Everything about Gabriel Feitosa grooming is amazing! He is like a tio to my fur babies. They wag their tails and get so excited when they go to see him. My one pup is very timid and has always been nervous around groomers. But when she see’s Gabriel, she gets so excited and wags her tail and even tinkles herself. I’ve been taking her to Gabriel’s for over a year and we go on a weekly basis because he has an amazing deal for your fur baby to get unlimited baths for a low monthly price. The team is amazing! The quality of service is fantastic. I highly recommend Gabriel and his team!

If you have tricky dog, be it their hair or their characteristics, these guys know how to handle it. They are pro, and they differ from ordinary groomers.

This place is awesome. I don’t usually trust my dog to everyone but I have one year coming here and I have no complaints. The guys are always very friendly to me and my dog, always on time, very responsible, very professional. My dog love everyone on the team because this people love to work with dogs. So if you love your dog you should take it to this place for a shower or massage even for a dog cake if is special event. Thanks to Gabriel, Jeremy and the crew. I have been going to see Gabriel and employees since 2007. My little Maltese just turned 18. Oldest Bath Club member (in years and age)gets a bath once a week. Without question Lolly's life has been extended because of Gabriel. V/R Michael

Gabriel came very highly recommended by my breeder. He is very professional, great customer service, kind with my dog and extremely loving. He took very good care of my dog and gave him a beautiful show cut! We are scheduled every 4 weeks to continue his grooming services. If you are in the area, or don't mind traveling (I travel 35 miles) I would absolutely choose Gabriel!
