If I could, I'd vote Dog Tired best company in the entire universe. We have a rowdy pup, Cashew, who we love more than anything in the world, and Craig and his team treat her as if she was one of theirs. Craig is communicative, reliable, punctual, and professional. Cash comes home happy, safe, and exhausted! The team really knows what they are doing and how to handle dogs of all types. This is soooooo much better than the traditional daycare setting. Cash has also taken a "staycation" with Dog Tired when we needed to go out of town, and I'm pretty sure she was disappointed to have to go home. She had much more fun with Craig and his wife! And we have peace of mind knowing she's safe, cared for, and living comfortably at their house. We are in the process of buying a house right now, and we love Dog Tired so much that one of the factors in our house hunt is remaining within Dog Tired's service area. It sounds absolutely crazy (truly, we know it is nuts), but we really can't imagine our lives without Craig and his team!

We had such an amazing training experience with Dog Tired San Diego! Sara is super knowledgeable and great to work with. She coached both us and our two year old corgi through several new commands, and we cannot recommend her enough!

We recently signed our hound up to get him out of the house and socialize. We also want to work with him on recall so we can take him to the beach. We've been using Dog Tired for the past month and it's been such a great experience!! Craig is the best and understands nervous dog parents and how to help put them at ease instantly. The pick up and drop off that is included in the pack walk is amazing and super convenient! Kaleb is now perking up whenever we say its '"adventure day!" and lets out a loud excited howl when he sees Craig pull up. He's also sooooo tired when he comes back and seeing the pictures of him running around and super happy is just the best. Seriously couldn't recommend Dog Tired enough. Thank you Craig for all that you do and continue to do for Kaleb - we are so appreciative and can't wait to recommend Dog Tired to all of our friends/family!

Ok i've been meaning to write a review for this company for a while now. Where do I begin? My dogs and I moved to San Diego in March 2020. Being a servicemember I needed to find a reliable dog walker and boarding company quick. Craig and his team responded quickly to my queries and made sure my dogs had the best care during the pandemic while I was away for days at work. If an emergency arose, they were flexible in rescheduling walks and last minute overnight care. My dogs always come back from pack walks tired and are overly excited whenever they see a team member come to pick them up. The convenience of having Dog Tired pick up the pups for overnights and/ or pack walks is WOW! I love it! I finished private lessons with Sara too, and let me tell you... WOW what a difference! I've done the petsmart training and youtube tricks, but working with her has been the best for me and my dogs. One of my dogs required ACL surgery two months ago and the Dog Tired team has been so gentle with him and helpful in his recovery. When they took my other dog out for pack walks they would let my recovering pup out for a quick break as well. The team has taken extra care, as he has started his pack walks again, to ease him back into sprints and full reign walks/fun. Words don't express how pleased I am with Dog Tired and how grateful I've been for their help this past year. Every day my dogs have an adventure with Dog Tired, I look forward to pictures of their day. Thanks for caring so well for Boomer and Kylo!

I was a client of theirs prior and could speak very highly, but after owning another dog and calling for months and sending emails I have not recieved anything back. I get emails slip through the cracks but I've left messages emails sent texts and nothing.. Very unprofessional

Absolutely love these guys and have recommended them to all my friends with furry companions. They take such fantastic care of my dog. The pick up and drop off service is amazing for those of us with busy schedules. My pup has the best time and is righteously pooped after a full day of play with her friends. I never doubt that she's being well taken care of either during her All Day Play or overnight stays. So very glad we found Craig and his crew.

DOG TIRED IS THE BEST. Always get my pup nice and worn out. Great communication, via text with the owner Craig and post-pack briefing email on how he did that day. Really can't recommend them enough.

We started sending our lab to Dog Tired at just a few months old and we’re SO happy we did. Dog Tired has helped raise our pup into a healthy, happy sociable dog with LOTS and LOTS of friends lol. Not to mention how tired he is everytime he gets home!

To put it simply, Dog Tired and Craig make it possible for me to own a dog. I'm an attorney and often work long hours out of the house and sometimes travel, and do not have the flexibility to make sure my dog gets out enough during the day without some help. Lucky for me, my dog has been a part of the DTSD pack since the day after I adopted her. She's picked up in the morning and is dropped off again in the afternoon, tired and happy. I've also used the staycation service when I'm traveling, which means she stays in Craig's house with his own dogs and is treated and loved as though she were his own dog. The team pays real attention to each dog and they are quick to let me know if my dog is acting strange or if they notice any other issues. Craig even went so far as to drop off a stool sample at my vet's office when he noticed worms, knowing that I wouldn't be able to do so myself until the weekend. Craig also goes above and beyond in his flexibility and willingness to accommodate last minute requests. My dog is on a regular 5x per week schedule, but I've also made same-day requests when weekends have gotten busy or when I've failed to plan ahead, and Craig has always made it work for me. I was lucky to find DTSD, and I can't imagine what I would do without Craig and his team!

My pup, Ron Swanson, started hanging with the pack when he was about 4months old (now 6 months). I wanted to make sure that Ron had plenty of exercise and enjoyed playing while I was gone for a long day and he learned how to socialize at an early age. I know that when Ron is with Craig and the rest of the pack, he is in great hands and I have nothing to worry about. I am confident that when Ron gets back home, he's exhausted and had a great time playing. Craig and Sally make it so convenient and are unbelievably professional (and extremely affordable, too). Craig picks up and drops off Ron, I mean how can anyone beat that? I am so glad that I found Dog Tired and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dog walker!

Craig has done a great job taking care of my 5 year old rescued shepherd. She has separation anxiety and a history of breaking out when I'm not around. After a few stints with Craig she's more social and outgoing. She's always happy to see me when I pick her up but never seems to be in a hurry to leave :)

Craig is a complete professional and takes the best care of our nutty boxer pup. Before I found Dog Tired I tried taking him to doggy camps but he kept getting sick so I was at a loss as to what to do...until I met Craig.

We are pseudo-newbies to San Diego, by way of NY, and are not always trusting of people - it's the New Yorkers in us! :) But Craig was a DREAM to work with. When you put your trust in someone to take care of your fur baby, it's a lot to ask - and Craig delivered! We live nearby and often see him walking his sweet dogs and when we contacted him to see if our dog, Kali, could join him and his pack for a sleepover while we were out of town for the weekend, he was more than happy to take her on. We met the day before drop off at a local park to make sure the dogs were well-acquainted before the slumber party and even from that initial instance, we knew we could trust Craig to take care of our little girl. We forgot our bags and he was kind enough to pick up after Kali for us - that's dedication :) You can tell instantly that he's a true dog lover and his laid back demeanor helped ease our minds (and our dog's!). We received updates and pictures throughout the weekend of Kali romping around with the pack at Dog Beach and playing with Craig's dogs. He's super responsive, professional, dedicated and on point. On my way home today after just a few hours of leaving Kali alone, I heard her howling from down the block! I think she misses her friends and was lonely! We started using Dog Tired in Toronto when Craig was here. One really hot day I saw Craig pull a bottle of clean water out of his back pack and make sure his dogs stopped playing long enough to get a drink. We were at the park without any water and he invited my puppy to join in, as she had been playing with his pack. I thought that was generous – showed how much he cares about dogs, all dogs, not just the ones in his care. Craig knows what active dogs need. They chase what he throws. Come when he calls. Instinctively, almost, he keeps them out of trouble.
