I have been sending my dog, Skye, to daycare for the past 4 months. The staff have all been incredibly sweet and all know her by name. I feel completely comfortable that I am leaving her in good hands every time I drop her off. Thanks guys:)

It'll be hard to find any other place that is as awesome for the dogs AND owners as this place. Well worth every penny spent investing in good care for my fur baby.

Dogs run around all day outside. There is very nice staff taking care of the dogs. Cameras are available so you can watch your dog on the website if you can find them! Only negative- dogs must be fixed when they turn 7months..

I can't say enough good things about Camp Run-A-Mutt in Sorrento Valley! The staff here is incredibly kind and responsive, and they truly go out of their way to make sure each and every pup has a great time at camp! The best part? They have a livestream cam of all of the campers playing in the yard! It's hard enough to be away from our dog, but getting to watch him play with all of his new friends while we're away puts the biggest smile on our face. The staff even remember his name when he comes back for a new visit! Since going to camp, Theo has been a lot more social in his day to day interactions with other people and dogs. He jumps up and down with his excitement any time that we bring him by to camp. You even get a report card when their trip is done to see what activities they loved to do and any of the campers that they became friends with while there! I can't recommend Camp Run-A-Mutt enough, they are AMAZING!!

Can’t say enough good things about Camp Run-A-Mutt, Sorrento Valley! I love their doggy daycare setup and cage free boarding is the best! I’m so grateful for their caring staff. I have boarded my dog there several times and have always had a positive experience. They are very transparent and great regarding communication on how my pup is doing or if there are ever an my issues (behavior or health & safety). Christine is amazing and has gone above and beyond in helping my pup and communicating with me. All of the staff is friendly and professional. I also enjoy that I can watch my dog playing on the Mutt cam during the day!

Our dog Ozzy loves going to “school”. We usually send him T/Th, 1/2 days. Every time we say are you ready for school he perks up and tilts his head and looks so happy. On the way to camp as we turn the corner where the bank is. He get super excited and starts making noises. We love that he is outdoors with other dogs and there is no “nap” time required and that there are cams we can watch him on. Everyone is so nice. It’s great he gets the socializing he needs in a safe and fun environment.

Camp Run a Mutt is not just a doggie daycare, it's a second home for my dog Charlie. Charlie has been going to Camp Run a Mutt Sorrento Valley for the past 4 years. Over the last year I started a new job and moved to a new home- it's been a ton of change for Charlie. The one saving grace of all this change for him has been camp! Every single staff member at SV knows Charlie by name each time we walk in. The staff here is the reason I continue to come to this location. They take the time to get to know each of the dogs coming in and out every day, provide helpful feedback, and treat Charlie and the rest of the campers as if they were their own. This place has honestly been a God send and I am so so grateful to each and every one of the CRAM SV team for everything they do for Charlie. Thank you all, we love you! -Melanie and Charlie Hagan

We just started taking our Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, to camp and it's been a great experience thus far. First, and most importantly, Run-A-Mutt requires all dogs to pass a temperament test prior to coming to camp. Dog parks are a gamble- there's no screening process so you're just assuming all dogs are friendly- so the temperament test is key. Second, the staff really love the campers! There are always plenty of staff walking around the grounds and we always see the staff giving pets and being very affectionate towards the dogs when we check in on Daisy on the Mutt Cam. They also clean immediately up after the dogs use the bathroom so the play area is clean as well as well shaded- also very important. Lastly, Daisy is young and still learning proper manners so socialization of being around other dogs has been great for her. We're looking forward to many more days at camp!!

My dogs have been going here for two years and mostly enjoyed it. They have done daycare and boarded at the facility. Unfortunately, after our recent stay, neither of my dogs will be returning. One of my dogs suffers from anxiety, and it's something we've had to work with her on for her whole life. The staff have always been aware of her personality and tendency to need a little extra attention. During her recent stay, she showed some aggression that was unnecessary and unwelcome. What followed was a phone call to me asking that I have my dog picked up, in other words, she was being asked to leave. While I completely understood why, I was shocked to learn that the facility had no procedure in place to hold my dog away from the other dogs in the meantime. I was across the country when this occurred and was returning the next day. After pleading with staff and asking if they would send her packing without a human adult, she was permitted to stay in the groomers area with her sister away from the other boarding dogs. All in all, I get it. It seemed understandable that a dog showing aggression was no longer welcome, the part that shocked me was the lack of procedures in place. I can't have the first dog in this daycares' history to need to be separated from the pack. This seems like a vital measure and a complete oversight on the part of management. The cost of this boarding daycare should entitle more security and precautions for dog parents.

My young puppy Omar loves it here. Super convenient to my workplace and I really appreciate the cameras so we can keep an eye on him and see him hanging out with his friends. Also, we love that overnight boarding is an option. Highly recommend Camp Run a Mutt!

My English bulldog Stanley has been coming here for over a year and he and I LOVE Camp Run A Mutt! He comes home every time completely exhausted and never wants to leave so I know he’s having fun! The staff is very friendly and always lets me know if there are any concerns with Stanley (minor issue with another dog, upset stomach issue, etc.) The facility is clean and they have convenient hours for when I have to work late. Will definitely keep coming back!

Best Doggie Daycare i've been to! Was thoroughly impressed with the entire operation. From the front desk to the attendants in the play yard. Day 2, i was already greeted by name along with my dog, Sam. Upon pick up they didn't even ask who i was there for and within minutes they had my Sam out front. They also have a great little side room with a tinted window so you can watch your dog play without them seeing you. Another perk is the app to watch online and on top of all that they have a great overnight boarding facility with great options. Camp Run-A-Mutt is Awesome!!!

My little puppy Luna lovesss coming here. Everytime we get off the Sorrento valley exit she looks around and starts running back and forth in the back seat because she knows where we are going. After picking her up she's always happy and tired from playing all day.

I am so thankful for this place. I absolutely could not give the staff here more rave reviews. My boxer pup loves going to camp and comes home sufficiently tuckered out. When I have to travel for work and need boarding I can count on them for that too. If I need a nail trim or bath they have that as well. The staff is caring and always has a positive and cheerful attitude. Somehow they seem to remember every dog's name. As a working dad of two boys with a busy schedule I would be lost without the help of Camp Run A Mutt Sorrento Valley. I highly recommend getting your pup to try it out. You wont regret it.

I’ve been bringing my two chocolate labradors for about 11 months now. I’m a creature of comfort and consistency. Two things CRAM in Sorrento Valley has been consistent in showing. Consistency in the sanitary care of the environment all the dogs are in. A+ for sure on this. Treating Emi and Jet like family. Consistent staffing of the same people. Accommodating to last minutes needs. I take comfort in knowing Emi, Jet and myself are in great hands of many who care. Staff is consistently friendly, patient and thoughtful.

My pup LOVES camp run a mutt. Its perfect that it is so close my office and I can drop him off quickly in the morning and pick him up at any time. Their hours are great I love that they open so early for those days I need to be to work before 8. The staff is so nice and I know by his excitement to see them that they treat him so well. Absolutely worth the money!

Bela loves coming here. I’m able to watch her throughout the day on the mutt-cams. When I pick up my puppy she falls asleep right away in the car. She seems to be having a lot of fun all day long. Very professional and friendly staff Very welcoming. I highly recommend this facility.

In preparation for a three week international trip we started looking for a daycare and boarding facility many months ahead for our young, big Rhodesian Ridgeback, Bishop. After checking out several other places we finally chose Camp Run a Mutt, Sorrento Valley. We couldn’t be happier that we did! These are the criteria that were most important for us and CRAM SV checked off every box! - [x] Attentive, kind, trustworthy staff that genuinely love dogs: Bishop is 110 lb. and quite friendly. The staff at another place we considered seemed intimidated by his size and was reluctant to let him play and interact with other dogs. This was certainly not the case here. - [x] Temperament test for all dogs: this is pretty standard practice for daycare and boarding facilities, and it was important to us that all dogs staying at camp were thoroughly vetted. - [x] Cameras: it was very important for us to have the ability to check on Bishop throughout our trip. - [x] Outdoor and indoor facilities: Bishop loves the sun and we wanted to make sure he could be outside during the day, and then come inside at night. - [x] Someone onsite 24 hours: Bishop is used to sleeping next to us at night and I was worried about how he would do without us for 3 weeks. I was told by several attendants that he was happy to snuggle with whoever was on duty that night! That was a huge relief to hear. - [x] Option to pull dog from play yard for breaks: Bishop loves other dogs and people, plays hard and doesn’t self regulate. We asked to have him pulled from the yard multiple times a day to make sure he rested. They happily obliged. Once every week or two we leave Bishop for the day, as it’s conveniently located near my boyfriend's work, and when he's picked up at the end of the day he is a tired, happy pup! We highly recommend for daycare and long term boarding! We now have peace of mind for our next travels knowing our dog will be loved and properly taken care of while we’re gone.

We have been bringing our Alaskan malamute Banzai to camp run a mutt for over 2 months. It is safe to say this is one of the most amazing places for him as he his still young with lots of energy. He plays real well with all the other dogs and the staff is super professional and helpful with additional training. I would highly recommend exploring this as an option for your busy lifestyle. It has been a game changer for our family and my dog's overall disposition.

Absolutley love this place! It has worked wonders for the socialization of my dog. The location is really convenient for people working in the sorrento valley area. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There are multiple areas within the daycare to accommodate most dog personalities. And the range of services and multi-visit deals is great!

This is our (my and my pup's) favorite boarding facility. Hands down. My pup Jenna always has the most excellent time and if I am ever worried, the staff is happy to chat with me on the phone! I trust them to keep her safe and they also help maintain consistency when it comes to training. The staff is also caring and is always excited to see my girl, they even greet her by name! I get reports of the new friends she makes or the crazy stuff she does and I love it! Even though they are a little bit far from where I live, it is well worth the trip because I know she is in the best hands.
