My husband bought me a gift certificate to get a photo session done as a present (this is such a cool idea for anyone who loves his/her fur baby). I was really nervous because our dog, Stoney, is extremely timid around people and I wasn't sure how he would do for the photographer. We met Allison at the studio and she immediately put our minds at ease and gave us options for how to best capture our dog's personality. We picked Fiesta Island as our location, and Allison took care of all of the details. When the images were ready, it was so fun to see them projected in her studio (it was also hard to narrow down our favorites!) She captured his goofy personality (that strangers usually don't get to see) perfectly. We ended up selecting a few pieces for our walls that you can check out below. (Clearly, she is the photographer and not me! These pictures don't even begin to do the work justice). The customer service, the experience and the photos were all fantastic. I would highly recommend scheduling a session.

Working with Allison to get the picture-purrfect shots of our five animals was both easy and delightful, from the initial phone call and meeting to the pick-up of our beautiful prints. We cannot recommend her highly enough. She has that extra "touch" in everything she does; it's difficult to describe until you've had the pleasure of working with her and seeing her product. Photographing cats is no mean feat but she pulled it off, even with our most uncooperative feline. The dogs were easy (our trick: salmon. they do literally anything for salmon.) and we were so very pleased with the results. The most difficult part of the entire process was narrowing down which photos to get printed they were all so good! She's super flexible too as to where you want to go for photos. We did both at home (our cats are indoors only) and at a local park, but she was willing to meet us just about anywhere. Overall, an 11 out of 10.

I cannot recommend Allison highly enough. I'd been eager to get some photos taken of my eighteen month old Havapoo. I wanted professional photos because, well, I adore him and because he has such an expressive, cute face that can be challenging to capture for two reasons: he has black hair and nearly black eyes and he is VERY fast and active. My main concern was he would be impossible to capture even for a professional is that he isn't much for posing or staying still. He knows basic commands, but the idea he would be patient enough for a photo pose was pretty hard for me to imagine. I'm happy to say that Allison is a magician with numerous tricks and techniques to photograph the fastest and funniest of dogs. I loved the photos even more than I had hoped and wound up getting more prints for my walls than I had planned. Allison is also a lovely, kind, delightful person to work with and the whole experience was a pleasure.

I first met Allison when she had a booth at a dog event at Liberty Station. She was offering mini-sessions and I needed a photo of me, my husband, and our adorable dog Eric for our Christmas card. It was a great deal, and I knew my husband would LOVE the fact that it was less than 30 minutes! We had a FANTASTIC time with Allison - she put us at ease right away and Eric loved her immediately. All of the photos were great and the canvas we had Allison made for our wall is gorgeous. Our Christmas cards turned out beautifully, and we have repeated the mini sessions with Allison every year. She has different backdrops to choose from so that the photos are fresh and new each time. The pictures are always wonderful and everyone is dazzled with the great poses she gets our dogs (we've added Annie since that first session) to do - especially impressive because they are so excited to see Allison that they don't want to stand or sit still! Choosing the photos you want is a great experience, too - we love her studio with the giant screen. Allison also offers an app with ALL of the photos from the session - so great for showing off our cute pups. If we could give a 10-star rating, we'd do it in a heartbeat. Allison is the BEST!!

We return to Allison year after year for photos of our incredible Turbo. Our recent session was in the park. We hadn't even considered wall photos. However, once we saw the beautiful photos of Turbo, we knew they had to be prominently displayed in our home. The wrap-around canvas photos we chose are stunning. Allison really captures Turbo's personality.

Allison is absolutely amazing!! She took so many great photos of my pup it was so hard to choose. I ended up purchasing 4 framed photos for my home and a photo book with most all of the photos she took. My guests love all the photos whenever they tour my home. She is worth every penny. And of course the best part is that she worked so well with my high energy dog. He's always moving and we took photos at his favorite places!!

We visited Allison for a pet photography session to get some photos done for our engagement pictures. We have two dogs and (one is a 1 year old lab who is so wild and hyper) and Allison handled him like a pro!! She was so kind and attentive to our wants and needs. I could have never imagined the photos would come out as well as they did. The coolest part is that she is not there just to get the pictures and be done, she turns the whole thing into a magical experience from start to finish. Allison was referred to me by a close friend who also loved her services! From our first phone call to the delivery of our prints, Allison was AMAZING! You can easily tell how much she cares about every detail of your experience. She WOWed us in so many ways and I was incredibly impressed with our whole experience. Allison is doing an awesome job learning about what to do and what not to do when photographing horses. She did a wonderful job taking photos of our herd over a couple of sessions and I couldn't be more pleased with her process. She asked lots of questions and did a masterful job of following my suggestions and advice. She got some really great shots of our horses and I can't wait to see the post production results. Allison is very professional and you can tell that she loves her work. She really got into working with the horses and getting their attention for some awesome ears forward photos. We'll be booking some more sessions as our herd ages, changes and grows as well as some for our dogs and cats.

I received a gift to have my dogs' pictures taken by Allison, & I have to admit that at first I was a little skeptical. I adore my dogs, but I didn't think I was the kind of person to spend money on professional photos of them. I thought this would be fun, but had no idea how much I would appreciate the experience & the pictures in the end. I started out by looking over Allison's website (which is *great*, by the way -- helpful, full of information & inspiration, & really walks you through what the experience will be like working with her). It didn't take long for me to get excited about the idea of a photo session with my pups in our "natural environment" at Sunset Cliffs in OB. Then once I actually talked to Allison, and brought my two Aussies to meet with her, I knew this was a great idea. She clearly loves what she does and is professional and helpful from start to finish... but more than that, she makes sure the pictures she takes will be cherished by her clients for years to come. This isn't a photographer that just lines customers up & gets them out of the way -- she knows how special our pets are, & wants to help us capture that. The photo session is a lot of fun -- Allison makes the dogs (and their people) comfortable & has a knack for catching just the right moments to showcase an animal's personality & the relationship with the owner. The pictures themselves are gorgeous. All you have to do is click through her website to see that. But you have to see the prints/products in person to know how good they really are -- top quality from the smallest coffee-table book all the way to the large multi-canvas sets. I can honestly say, the photos of my fur-kids from Allison will be some of my most cherished possessions, especially as my dogs age, and long after they're gone. If you're looking for someone to photograph your pets, stop looking -- this is who you need behind the camera!
