I’m a customer and my dog is a client, tried to renew flea medication. Wasn’t able to purchase more medication without coming to them and paying hundreds for physical exam and tests. Found same product online free shipping next day. Tried to support small business

Used this Talega Animal Hospital since it first opened and gone thru a lot of dogs(family members) :) and have always been super pleased!!

Talega Animal Hospital provides quality healthcare which you can trust. Dr. Whipple treats my dogs as if they were his own, I know they are in very capable hands and that they are getting the best possible care when he is the treating vet. The techs and staff are professional, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Talega Animal Hospital. When I have to drop the dogs off, they never hesitate or seem anxious when the tech takes the leash to lead them away. The dogs' actions speak louder than words.

My 13 year old yellow Labrador retriever sprained his ankle and they refused to take a look at him because we “didn’t have an appointment”. Should not be called an “Animal hospital” if they do not take any emergencies. Very disappointed with them and should be considered a private veterinarian’s office instead so no one else has the same problem.

You won't find more professional or caring people than this Talega staff! They have cared for all our dogs for years!

Highly recommend this hospital. They are friendly, professional and I've known Dr. Whipple for over 20 years. He's very experienced and the education he provided to us about our pet was invaluable.The standard and quality of care is very good. I appreciate the ways all the staff interacted with us, our pet and all the precautions to keep the environment safe for all.

Took my boy here today for the first time and they’re just awesome at this vet!! We will definitely be staying with them. And I really liked the doctors knowledge of bulldogs (not many know about those types of dogs). Everyone was super friendly and super helpful being that we can’t go inside with the pets right now. Trustworthy care for our babygirl Golden Retriever!

We've been taking our dog here since she was a pup, and they've always taken good care of her and have shown her the same love we would. She recently had a minor surgery here, and all went well. They delivered expectations well, and did a good job of communicating during and after. As far as we can tell, she's recovering well and they took good care of her. Would recommend if you're looking for a vet!

I have been taking our fur babes to Avenida Animal for 20 years. I am so thankful to know of such a great place to take our animals. They have always treated our animals well from vaccines to surgery on our cats and dogs. Greatful ????????

I have been here twice in 10 years. Both times were on a Saturday with a sick animal. I was told they were closing both times even though there website and posted hours said they were open for 3 more hours. Rude staff pushed me out to mission viejo urgent care. It felt like they just wanted to leave early. They told me they don't take walk ins. I would not reccomend, they were rude, not compassionate, everything you don't want when your stressed about a sick animal. One time was no big deal two times is a pattern. Not a good place.

Dr. Whipple is an excellent, caring, brilliant veterinarian, and the technicians at Talega are fantastic.

Dr. Whipple, and the entire staff at Talega Animal Hospital, are wonderful!!! They treat us like we're part of the family and really care about our pets! Very warm, professional and knowledgeable! I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else!!!

Nice people here. At this time you must call from the parking lot and they will come out to you. If you are a new animal there be prepared to do paperwork in your car. Who knows how long this will last? Bring something good to drink, something to do, and hang out. My dog is in for a spa day, so she'll be a few hours. Fur and nails. She'll be perky. ????

Nice and friendly, it can get expensive but they are thorough for your pet.

We've had a great experience every time we've been to telaga animal hospital! All the vets are extremely helpful and have taken care of all our pets needs! The staff is friendly and explain everything to you also! Great pet place!

I am so glad I found this vet office. Dr Kristy Surbida is amazing; as is all of the staff that help with my dog. They are such a pleasure even when I have to come in often! They watch and love on my dog when we go out of town too, and he loves it there! Best office, best staff.
