Very pleased with our experiences so far at Pacific Coast Veterinary! All of the vets and staff who have treated our 3 cats have been wonderful. One of our cats recently broke her paw (pictured) and they went so above and beyond with her care that she healed in only 4 weeks (2 weeks faster than original prognosis) and was able to get back to running and playing before Christmas! Very thankful to have our cats in the care of this practice:)

Neat spot but this Vet is an annoying jokester. Should've been a comedian.

Nice group. We just got a Golden Retriever rescue and they didn't charge for her initial visit. Because of covid-19 the doctor actually came out to our car to talk to us. Nice touch

Anyone looking for a honest, compassionate and experienced veterinarian, I highly recommend this office. Evening during the craziness of the Stay at Home Order, these doctors are caring, attentive and professional. They truly go the extra mile to answer questions, return calls and provide best medical care possible to our fur-babies. Thank you to the entire staff at Pacific Coast Veterinary Hospital , we appreciate everything you do.

Following a savage coyote attack, Dr. Gertmenian met me in the parking lot of the hospital in the middle of a downpour during the Covid 19 pandemic to rush a badly mauled, unresponsive cat into the clinic. Incredibly, she and Dr. Scibelli were able to revive the animal and began efforts to stabilize and save its life. Throughout, both doctors communicated with me in person as I waited outside and later by phone as to the cat’s status and measured steps being taken to avoid costly, unnecessary procedures. Thanks to their heroic efforts, the cat survived and has made a full recovery. I am extremely grateful for the skilled, life-saving services the cat received and the caring, professional attention and understanding afforded me during this critical event under extreme conditions. This staff forms an outstanding team.

The Dr's and staff take great care of our 4 Afghan rescue girls. They are friendly to pets and parents and make both feel comfortable with their services. Fees are always explained up front before treatment and seem to be consistent with market.

Very expensive for the service they provided. They took advantage of us in our unfortunate situation. A family members dog was attacked by a coyote. A few stitches and a booster rabies shot cost little over $900.00. Wow!! Friendly people is the only nice thing that can be said.

I have been using PCVH for my 2 dogs for YEARS. I have tried many vet hospitals in the past, and PCVH is by far the best one. I have seen every doctor multiple times, and they are all very knowledgeable and caring. Ziggy and Marley (my dogs) Love PCVH

Shawnee died today. She was a 13 year old yellow lab who was loved very much. She had a tumor that burst last Saturday. Our vet was out of town till Wednesday and a friend recommended Pacific Coast Veterinary Hospital. The staff and Dr. Scibelli were so great. They were compassionate and thoughtful. We wanted to know how serious Shawnee's condition was and diagnosis and prognosis before we made the final decision. They did blood work and suggested an ultrasound at another clinic (who I will review next, without the five stars). The prognosis was grim. Shawnee was dying. We brought her home so the kids could say goodbye. And she bounced back. We took her to the stables so Shiloh could say goodbye and she wagged her tail and smiled the whole time. We took her to the beach for the last time and she ran in the surf and fetched sticks. We couldn't put her down while her tail wagged, ears perked and she smiled that smile that dogs do when they are happy. Last night though was hard on her. Her breathing became short and labored. She stopped eating a couple of days ago and tail didn't wag as quickly as it always has. She was starving and the pain was increasing. My wife and I decided this morning it was time. The receptionist, Veronica, was so caring and did everything possible to make this moment as easy as possible for Shawnee and me. Dr. Gertmenian was gentle and reassuring. I laid next to Shawnee as she was given the shots. I stroked her head reminding her of everyone who loved her so. I prayed for her and told God she is a good dog and worthy of her place in heaven. Dr. Gertmenian was so patient with us. She stroked my head and comforted me while I tried to comfort Shawnee. Several staff members were so kind and considerate and went out of their way to offer their condolences. Wow, today sucks! But the expert care, sound advice and compassion of Pacific Coast Veterinary Hospital kept Shawnee with us for as long as possible, for which are very grateful. P.S. A local florist just delivered a beautiful bouquet. Not surprising as many of our friends know how much Shawnee meant to us. I opened the card and read "Thinking of you during this difficult time. Shawnee will be in our thoughts. - All the Staff at Pacific Coast Veterinary Hospital.". Damn, I'm crying again. But caring friends are such a comfort. Even new ones like the staff at Pacific Coast Veterinary Hospital.

In May 2016, my young dog, Cody went in for a physical with blood work. His liver enzymes were high so Dr. Scibelli requested that we get blood work taken again in mid June. In mid June 2016, we followed up with blood work and at the very end of June we received my young dog, Cody's results, the Vet Tech said his results were Normal. In July, Cody swelled up. We took him into another vet and it was there that they immediately (same day) sent us to Loomis Vet where Cody was diagnosed with an adrenal tumor. We then took him to UC Davis where we eventually found out from a cardiologist that his Adrenal Tumor was too far a long for any treatment (near a major organ). From July 2016 until March 25, 2017, Cody's stomach would be drained regularly and he was on 3 medications to slowdown fluid buildup. Our family and friends would say "he's so active you'd never know he was sick" which validated what Loomis Vet and UC Davis had said, "He doesn't know or feel he's sick but when the day comes it will happen real quick." And it did. I miss my baby shadow, Cody.
