Mike's Pet Care San Clemente, California

Mike is absolutely amazing with my crazy girl! I have a one year old akita, who is full of life and energy so when I went back to work after covid shut down I didn’t know what I was going to do. Then I found mike! He’s been easy to contact reliable and understanding. These are all good qualities of course but the number one for me is that he over all cares for my sweet girl he loves her as well and she adores him. She even knows his name her tail goes crazy when I say mike is coming???? another thing that I absolutely love is that he gives medical advice since she is my first baby I’ve been very protective of her and have anxiety when it comes to her health. Recently she had PLPO surgery and when I told mike he was so willing and knew exactly how to handle her and I don’t think her recovery would have gone as smoothly if I hadn’t had him walk her. As I said she’s my first dog and I worry but he always tells me what he thinks it may be, not to worry, and if and when I should take her into the vet. It helps ease my mind especially knowing how well informed he is. It’s awesome! If your looking for a walk walker/pet sitter there is no one I’d recommend more! He also takes the best pictures????

Mike is super knowledgeable about animal care and is a professional. I recently moved to the area and was nervous about trusting a new pet sitter with my 2 cats (one of which needs daily medication). I have now been using Mike's pet sitting service for almost 4 months and found Mike to be reliable and trustworthy. Even when I was on vacation for more than a week, the cats were doing great when I got back. It is a huge worry off of my shoulders to know that the house is being watched and the animals are well cared for when I am away. It is also a huge plus that in case there is a medical emergency, Mike has a vet tech background. And thanks Mike for the cat photos!

Mike has been a great find for us and our giant and rambunctious labradors! He is extremely professional and knowledgeable, while being very kind, funny and flexible. Mike is a person whose job is their passion and he intuitively knows the nature of animals. Mike is someone you can trust and feel comfortable with in your home with your pets, this is reflected in the outstanding work he does for our family. Mike was also able to accommodate our special needs kitty with diabetes, which is a rare find for a sitter. Mike has been unbelievable! We moved to San Clemente a few months ago and could not be happier with his care of our dog! She is always excited to go walk with him. He is very flexible with us. We have been using Mike Russell to take care of our cats when we are out of town for many years. Mike was instrumental in helping us with our elderly cats that needed several medications on a daily basis.
