They're to expensive . I got an estimate for my dog to have a cyst removed on his ear. It was 5 times the cost of 2 local vets. Had the procedure done for$ 300.25... so now u know how much it was at wellness.

Animal Care Wellness Center.. Clean place, animal friendly, good at getting you an estimate first, professional people the way they talked to their customers in person or via phone call.

Very clean and nice. Friendly people. First time my child (boxer)walked out of pet hospital prancing, like her stuff didn't stink. We definitely have a new doctor for our children.

I miss the old doctor, and since covid, the new one does not come to speak to you directly, which I understand but would like it if they found a safe way to do so, especially since humans are not allowed in during exams. It is nearly impossible to get clear information and they will just fill prescriptions without asking you and boy are they high priced! They give you a major guilt trip if you ask to have it sent to another pharmacy too. They want to do procedures in animals towards the end of their life that are not necessary, as if they are trying to get every last dime from you. I'm going to find another vet.

This place operates more as a business entity looking to generate revenue rather than focusing on the welfare of the animals. I highly urge everyone to stay away from this place!

I am a senior on a fixed income. My little rescue desperately required dental work and was suffering with sepsis. Even during this pandemic, the staff was kind and helpful. They gave me antibiotics for my dog for about 20 days. This permitted me time to save up for the cost of dental surgery and saved my dog's life. I am very grateful.

I've been to several Vets in San Bernardino/Highland and I have found my permanent Vet with Dr. DiCarlo and his staff. They are the absolute best, most caring, compassionate people I've ever met. They have a beautiful facility, always very clean and sanitary. They also offer dental/grooming/ boarding. Love this place ????????????

This veterinary practice takes advantage of people by ordering multiple unnecessary tests, by being less than forthright about diagnoses and prognoses, and by gouging people. This office also estimated a fee for euthanasia that was more than double the fee charged by Highland Avenue Vet Clinic, which is, ultimately, where we took our cat. This veterinary practice also had us come back and forth almost a dozen times and forced us to wait in the office, during the COVID-19 pandemic, for about half an hour each time while the cat cried in her crate due to the stress. When finally getting a guarded prognosis on Monday, the office said that it could put the cat to sleep only on the following Friday, even though her belly was growing larger and more distended each day due to the cancer. I strongly recommend potential customers of this business seek other options.

This is the worst animal clinic I have ever been to! They were incredibly rude to me....charged me way more than other clinics...and were unprofessional to the point of it being ridiculous! I would NOT recommend this clinic to ANYONE!!! They don't care about you or your animals!!!!!

These people are shysters. We brought our dog in there every other week for months. They just kept finding reasons to charge us and never treated our furry baby. One call about a second opinion to another vet and we found out they were mishandling our dogs case. They billed us hundreds of dollars, ignored our questions, and didn't run proper tests. They never helped our dog.

We recently had health issues with our dog, his health was declining and went from an energetic and happy dog to a dog that could not get out of his bed. We took him to Animal Care Wellness where we worked with Dr. DiCarlo and he diagnosed our dog with a Tooth Infection. He put together a plan on how to take care of the problem, what the next steps were for his health and the needed interim prescriptions. Most importantly he provided the plan and approach with confidence. It was amazing as we had seen another Vet who told us it could be one simple thing or it could be a rare form of cancer. Dr. DiCarlo wanted to take action in the proper order. We came back and Dr. DiCarlo provided the needed Dental work on our Dog. He is now, healthy and his personality is happy again. I would highly recommend Dr. DiCarlo and his friendly staff to any one who has a pet. His facility is state of the art and in my opinion they service animals to the highest Veterinarian Standards. Their prices are fair and they are easy to schedule appointments with, they provide follow up and make you feel comfortable as an owner. Highly Recommend.

Staff is very sweet, but I'm very bothered that they gave my cat an injectable and did a urinalysis without getting my consent first. They brought her back without me after I explained the situation andtand didn't say what they were going to do except exam her. Well they bring her back out to me with a urinalysis done that I did not approve of and an injectable but I didn't give the authorization to give. I find it strange that you wouldn't first get the owners confirmation before injecting a cat with antibiotics and taking a urine sample from her and sending it to a lab. I would have declined the urinalysis but I didn't have the option because they just went ahead and did it without asking me first.

What a wonderful place! We took our (middle-aged) dog, Bo, to the Animal Care Wellness Center last month when a lump mysteriously appeared on his paw and did not go away. After calling the clinic, we were given a same-day appointment, which was a very pleasant surprise. Dr. DiCarlo was very knowledgeable and SO GOOD with Bo (our dog is a very energetic 60-lb dog who loves making new friends, but not in a manner that everyone appreciates), which instantly endeared him to us. Dr. DiCarlo diagnosed Bo's possible paw issues and took a sample of the mass for lab analysis; we received a phone call the following week confirming the diagnosis (histiocytoma) and were told to observe the mass over the next few weeks. Within one week, Bo's mass grew very quickly, so after making another appointment to see the doctor (again, very quickly), Dr. DiCarlo examined the growth and advised surgical removal soon - but applied no pressure (or guilt) for us to make that decision immediately; instead, he suggested that we think about things for a few days. After much thought over the weekend, we decided to have Bo's mass removed. The surgery was scheduled promptly and the procedure went very well (what beautiful stitches!). Bo healed quickly and was thrilled to see his new friends when he went back for his stitches to be removed. All in all, it was an excellent experience and we will definitely take either of our dogs back to the Animal Care Wellness Center for future care. We felt the prices were very reasonable and let's face it - our pets are considered members of the family... you get what you pay for (cheaper is not necessarily better). The veterinary care here was nothing short of awesome! Dr. DiCarlo was great with our dog, explained everything very well, and was very open (and patient) to any and all questions. A big thank you to Dr. DiCarlo and his staff for taking such fantastic care of our Bo!
