I went in this weekend to buy dog food and “doggie ice cream “ yes people it does exist and was greeted by a very sour employee. I’m not sure what was going on in her life but honey you’re way too young to be so bitter!! I won’t go back. Oh BTW they don’t sell special ice cream for dogs ????

They have a great selection of healthy pet foods at reasonable prices. The staff is wonderful. You can visit with KITTENS. I appreciate the break from all the corporate stores.

Fully knowledgeable staff that's always willing to help! They stock the highest grade foods and supplements for pets and will always special order something for you. I've shopped at Pet Cottage for years and will continue to for as long as they're open.

Knowledgeable staff, fantastic selection of high quality foods, fun chew treats, toys, and impulse items for those of us who love to pamper our dogs and feed them for longevity and health. Best of all, most dog foods (probably cat, too, but I didn’t look) have samples available so you can try before you commit the hefty chunk of change that most of the foods command. This store is not for the light of wallet.

GREAT staff. Very helpful, wide selection and will special order anything for you. Local ownership. They even have a card-stamp program for a free bag of food @ 10 bags purchased on our brand!

The best place to shop for your canine and feline friends in Marin County. My one regret of my work schedule is not being able to shop there on a regular basis as I did before.

There are a handful of very important differences between Pet Cottage and the "Big Box Pet Supply" companies. #1: They stock a truly excellent selection of foods - from high end to inexpensive, and some of the very best of these can be found no where else. #2: They know their products, and can make informed and extremely helpful recommendations if you tell them what your pet needs, and what your experiences have been with other foods. They will steer you to EXACTLY the right food for your pet and/or your issue. And #3: These are lovely people. They do kitten rescue - have done so for years, they have pets of their own - many of whom are "special needs," etc. They have Big Hearts. You will Love this place.

Very friendly place! They sometimes have kittens for adoption! They have a lot of great products here, really high quality goods and also more affordable things. They have a store cat who is super affectionate and fun to pet and play with. This is my favorite pet store, I hope you like it too!
