They took excellent care of my pup. Her ears look amazing. Extremely caring, dedicated staff. Highly recommend.

Many years ago this vet practice was a clean, organized place to take your animal for care. Over the years the practice has changed dramatically and is no longer clean, records are still paper as opposed to electronic, exam rooms are dirty and the staff is quite disorganized. It appears that this provider of animal care makes most of their money cropping ears as opposed to healing hurt furry friends. I would hesitate to recommend this vet to any of my friends

Villains in terms of PRICE GOUGERS. Don't let them pressure you into their services, My Dog suffered a bad dog bite in the ear. My dogs ear had a severe laceration. Half of her ear was torn in half. Was quoted $1500. Doctor was going to utilize liquid sutures and put my dog under. Vet tech tried to pressure my husband and I into the services, citing it was going to be '5k anywhere else'. Total salespeople to the core. We paid her ridiculous fee of $140 for the Doctors 5min of time. Doctor didn't even touch the dog. Total visual assessment . Went to Crossroads Vet, we were quoted and PAID $ 840 . The vertinarian said our dogs ear was in bad shape. She did NOT utilize liquid sutures. She stated our dogs ear was in too bad of shape to use such a method for repair. BE CAREFUL. TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES ELSEWHERE . OR AT LEAST OBTAIN A 2ND OPINION.

I made an appointment to have my cats seen for deworming. I arrived at the first appointment and they told me they did not have the deworming medication and would reschedule me. I was upset because no one called me and it took me a while to catch the kitten and get her to the clinic. Then they rescheduled me. I got a call that morning saying they were wondering if I was going to keep my appointment. We immediately called back and said yes we would. Then they informed us they still don’t have the dewormer and stated they would call us back. They never did. So I called today to follow up and the girl gave attitude and said they get too busy to call back. Then maybe you shouldn’t tell people you’re going to call back? And maybe you should be professional? Taking my money elsewhere. Suggest you do the same. The negative reviews are accurate from what I can tell.

My Doberman was 13 wks when we did her ears and they came out beautifully. They called me all the days I had to come in for a rewrapping. Rewrapping are done at the end of the day ,so you may have to wait 1-2 hrs.I have never had a dog with posted ears but I loved that the vets main concern was for my dog to feel no pain and for her to be comfortable. My dobie did have major surgery (it was on a weekend vca is the only place open) and I had to have the rewrapping put off, they called everyday to check on her.

I could not have imagined a better experience coming here. From the time I called to book the appointment the staff was friendly, helpful, and upfront about the pricing. They were very accommodating and most importantly took the best care of my cat being neutered. They even sent him home with a toy. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Watt Avenue Pet Hospital!!

So far it’s been great. I had my Dobermans ears done here. It was a little pricy but the dr seems to know what she’s doing. That’s why an hour drive is worth it. Can’t wait until he’s completely healed ????????

Started out fantastic. Everything about it went down toilet. Begging every day for all my pets records transf’d to new vet after bizarre change of procedure for my senior cat w/kidney failure. Dr Barrett prescribed wrong diet food for my obese chihuahua which explains why she’s still obese! I have been totally ignored even when wanted my chihuahua’s records for her upcoming very serious surgery. They are breaking law by not giving to me within 5 days. “Ellen” whining how their swamped. She flips asking “why I’m giving her such a hard time when she’s been so nice”, yeah my fault.) Now they’re hanging up on me. IF YOU TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE YOU ARE NUTS. READ THE REVIEWS OF ALL THE BOTCHED EAR CROP STORIES AND DR BARRETT’S NASTY ANSWERS.

The lady’s who answer the phone here should really consider working on their customer service skills because it is very much lacking …

Kind, caring, and attentive staff. Dr. Barrett and her fabulous techs took care of my elderly fur baby (he's 18) with so much compassion and expertise. I will definitely be returning anytime I need great care at very reasonable prices.

It's embarassing to work in Healthcare and not care for or follow state-wide safety guidelines. My first visit all workers were wearing masks but almost none of them wore them correctly (under nose, under chin, kept slipping since it was clearly the wrong size). The only one doing so was the main surgeon and she had a hacking cough that could be heard from the waiting room while she was in the back. Myself and others were visibly uncomfortable and doing our best to maintain distance and all clients had their masks on. The second visit no one wore a mask at all and again, all clients were clearly uncomfortable. One worker actually made a joke about leaving her mask in her car, as if that somehow made it better. The third time they put up a sign on their door stating that "some" workers don't wear masks for health reasons. Again, being in the Healthcare field I'd expect them to know that this is BS. If your breathing capabilities are so compromised, there's no way you'd be working with animals and their fur, and if so there are still plastic shields to wear to avoid the masks while still being safe with others. I'm not going to comment on the service to my pet but If they are willing to disrespect their clients to their face, I can only imagine what their service is like behind closed doors.

Last night I took my dog to the vet as his health was declining very fast and he was in alot of pain. He knew he was safe when we arrived as he collaand the staff was amazing during this complicated time. He ended up having to put my dog down as he had cancer through his body and was in severe pain. He died very peacfully with his family around him. I highly recommend this place. The staff was very caring and gave us a private area to sit with our dog as we said goodbye.

I made an appointment for my dog having seizures. I had taken him there many times. They did testing on him x-rays blood work i spent thousands of dollars I made a simple appointment to address his seizures and i was told that he need blood work They didn't even know what the appointment was for and i couldn't talk with the vet nor be with my dog to explain what was going on and my concerns They have a brand new building which was very expensive so they needed to generate income. Very unprofessional that you can't even talk with the vet and takes my dog in another room to examine him I have been to many vets and have never had the vet take him to another room to examine him What are they doing in the other room? Making up charges.....

The staff was very nice and professional. Our Big Wallie passed away while we were there and they were very compassionate. I have recommended them to several people.

They are a really good Pet Hospital but be prepared to wait. The Dr. turns no one away which shows she really cares about the animals. They will let you drop off your pet and then they will call you when they are done. She is a really good Dr. She knows what she's doing and really cares about your pet. If you are on a budget she will ask you if you still want certain tests/procedures done before she does them. I was really pleased with them.
