Excellent service at a fair price

My dog loves those guys.

Don is very lovable and nice and caring person and she is very good at her job I recommend anybody to go and see her or take their pets to her to get groomed and washed she's fabulous

She does not know how to comfort an animal let alone get to their level there's no treats given for a good behavior she lets them out for 15 seconds to go pee and if they don't she put them back in the cage and she lets them cry non stop for the time that they're here... And I don't believe that in the back is very sufficient for the rainy seasons where the animals are kept.... I hear these animals cry on a daily basis which is very unnerving because being an animal groomer you should be able to calm and comfort in animal when they're in that much distress.... This is really unnerving...

RUINED MY DOGS HAIR Wasn't supposed to cut hair. Yup. We agreed not to cut hair at intake. I liked the rag muffin look. Specifically said no poodle cut. Beyond upset. 85$ BEWARE Also do not take credit cards...

After moving to the area..My brother told me about Dawns Pet Palace! The minute i walked in the door I couldn't help but Smile!! The place IS literally a Palace!! Wonderful Decor, and radiates Love, Fun, and dedication. And Dawn herself is also a delight. I 100% recommend Dawns Pet Palace ! Your dog will come home happy and at ease. ????

This is my first time taking my dog to a professional groomer and they were terrific. It took longer than expected but I had never been to one before. My dog looks and smells so good and it didn't cost as much as I expected. The staff was friendly and you could it is a well run business and your dog is in good hands.

Dawn is the best groomer around, hands down. We have a goldendoodle and a maltipoo, so they get easily matted even with regular brushing at home. My dogs leave dawns looking fresh and get the perfect "teddy bear" cut each time. I will not trust anyone else but Dawn to groom my dogs. We recently moved to grass valley, and still make the commute to bring our dogs to Dawn. Highly recommend!

Okay these folks are AWESOME! I found them by happenstance and the took my furbaby that day for a nail trim, and offered to bath him the same day too even though I did not have an appt for that. They did things for my dog that PetSmart doesn't do and they charged less than HALF of what PetSmart charges. My furbaby STILL feels silky. I would highly recommend Dawn to anyone with a pet. They are genuine and caring people. ❤

Hope pet owners know your pet barks non stop in their outdoor cage. Many just howl. Very unhappy dogs. County tells us neighbors just get used to it. We feel bad for your digs.

Wow... I would avoid doing business with this place. I had called to make an appointment for my cat. I had left messages no one called me back. After calling back over and over someone finally answered the phone. I asked to make an appointment and the lady told me" No need for an appointment we do cats in the morning so just bring your cat in between 8:00am and 8:30am." We like to do the cats before the dogs start coming in", so no appointment and she didn't want me number either... Well the morning came, I arrived about 8:15ish and no one was there. I called then I text. I stood outside for 20mins and finally I get a text back saying she wasn't going to make in today and she guess no other groomer either. What a disappointment and extremely unprofessional. Like my time is not important and I am assuming you don't want customers to pay you and support your business. There are plenty of good groomers in Sacramento. So if you are looking for a professional groomer to do business with DONT GO TO DAWNS PET PLACE. If you do you will be like I was "Highly Disappointed"!

I looove this place...How she decorates the shop is sooooo adorable..It looks like a playroom for children but its actually for pets???? She's pleasant...her prices are reasonable...Oh❗ and her clothes for the animals are sooooooooo adorable❗❗Come by and see for yourself...You will be happy or satisfied???? Princess and Baby...they love it there..

My long haired cat needed a bath I didn't want to get mauled again so I found this place. Cat appointments are 8am on Saturday's. My boy was freaking out about the dryer so Dawn let me know but was super nonchalant. Very nice and gave me tips about using human nail glue for the claw caps I use on my cats. Also only $35 for a bath! Decently priced and nice staff. Will be making this place my go to grooming salon.

Hard to judge due to the Covid regulations. But may puppies are very clean and happy

I love how much they love your pet. I drive 45 min to bring my 16yr old chihuahua to dawn's because I know she will be taken care of and I dont have to worry. Great pricing for all that you get from the best groomer around.

My Lhasa poo was taken to them for grooming at 1:30pm. I called at 3:00 and she was not ready yet. Finally they called at 8:30 to pick her up. She did not eat that night and the next day she was so sick that we rushed her to VCA and I found out my dearest was suffering from Pneumonia. I implored them to save her at all costs! She passed away at 10:10 pm the same night! I called the groomer the next day and told her what happened. I asked her why would she keep an elderly dog for several hours and how was she treated that she died right after?!! She could not give me any solid answer. I was so bereaved that I had no power to fight. I told her never keep an elderly dog for so long that will end in their death. I am not sure that she quite understood the significance of our dog to us. She was an extremely sweet and a beloved member of our family, her loss is felt everyday. If you care and love your dog DO NOT take your dog to them. Their regular groomer was Vicky's Pet Chalet, excellent place unfortunately they had no time for her! I wish I had waited. One star rating is too good for them.

Dawn is by far the best groomer I've found yet. I trust her and only her with my fur babies. I love how they get treated like family there. And how they get to run around and interact with other dogs all day when visiting Dawn's for their monthly grooming. It's great for their social skills. It's a win win .I couldn't ask for more. Thank you Dawn!

Dawn is the best groomer in town. My boy always looks so handsome after his appointment. She is consistent and loves.to add color and bows. I recommend Dawn's Pet Palace if you want a professional.

Dawn is wonderful, very professional, love the place. She got our cat in last minute, right at closing for a cut & groom. Will definitely be bringing my cat & dog to her in the future! ????

I’ve been to this place a few times and they keep changing the price every time I send someone different over to pick up my dog. It went from $45- $70 after two visits. My dog was the same size, same weight. Recently They told me to bring my dog at 3:30. I didn’t hear anything back and so I decided to call at 7:30. When I called, they wouldn’t answer. I called a while later and they answered. I was simply asking when we would be able to pick it up and their tone was very rude. She said we’ll be done when we’re done and I asked approximately how long, they said thirty mins. When my son went to pick up my dog, he was still wet and we were expecting to be charged $45-50, instead they charged my son $70 and their reasoning for it was that the shampoo they used this time was more expensive. My dog came home and he was very thirsty. I don’t think someone should say bring the dog at a certain time when they wouldn’t be done within a fair amount of time especially over 4 hours on one dog .

I like the fact that she doesn't have any cages. The dogs are free to run around in a large space. And she doesn't wonderful job on my poodle.

Dawn is simply the best. I've always had my dog's nails done, but now that I've got a longer hair dog I decided to get her groomed and she's SO clean & cute and the cutest lil bow on!

I had been taking my dog to petsmart to be groomed for years but then I was told that he was snapping at them and they wouldn't groom him anymore! I had no idea what to do so I started trying to contact groomers without much luck! Then I happened on a listing for Dawn's Pet Palace and called there, most places that I contacted never returned my calls! Dawn's actually answered my call and told me to bring him in the very next day! Dawn worked with him when I took him in and I left my boy with her and waited for her to call me when she finished with him! When I saw Sammie (my boys name ) I was very pleased with the way he looked! She bathed him and cut his hair short getting him ready for the Sacramento heat, trimmed his nails, cleaned his ears out and just did a great job! Her prices were less than I had been paying other places and I was very happy with everything I saw when I picked up Sammie! I'll be taking him there whenever he needs to be groomed and I recommend Dawn's Pet Palace to anyone who needs a great groomer!
