Southgate Veterinary Hospital Sacramento, California

I went to Southgate to take my Lil Rocco. He has a swollen eye. They were closed but they had a sign with a phone number. When I called I spoke to the doctor and explained my concern for my Lil dog Rocco. The doctor came out immediately and looked at him. Rocco went inside and the doctor took care of him. I was very pleased and happy with the care that was performed on my Rocco. Thank you doctors Unfortunately my Rocco left us a week later. ????

Loved the Vet Dr. That helped. He didn't beat around about Bush. Straight to the point.

Don't know much about the place except right now because of covid-19 you can't get a appointment

The staff and vet are very caring and concerned about your pets even if they are full... they won't turn you away! I love the staff and vet!

I always bring my dogs her all the staff are very nice and take good care of my dogs but this time I took my dog to get her shots her and she needed her last shot and they kept pushing her appointment back and she unfortunately caught parvo and passed away and for anyone thinking I shouldn’t be taking her places I didn’t I kept her home because she never finished her shots

Dr. Shoja and his staff are very knowledgeable and competent. But more than that he shows so much compassion for animals that come under his care. He also takes time to thoroughly discuss matters with the pet owners. Been coming here for 20+ years.

His prices are very reasonable because he cares. I have sent many people to him over the years and they have all had the same great reports about him. We love him and consider him a friend. They were the only vet out of the 7 or so I called to get my best friend Koda seen today. And that really means so much to me. They cared about his safety and well being. Perfect bedside manner, and clear and concise when explaining the problem. Koda and I are thankful beyond words. My dogs and I will be lifetime patients. Thank you so much you guys.????????

Had to send my kitty to sleep she was very sick They were very compassionate to me and my kitty respectful I miss her so much

They completely ignored my words and scheduled a third and unnecessary puppy vaccination without my consent after I explicitly told him he already had his first shot. I really wanted to continue to take my baby here because of the good reviews and my personal experience with their former vet. but since they have a new Dr. they clearly don't care about anyone besides making money off your pets.

The staff is incredible! Bc of Covid, I couldn't go in with my cat. The Dr. himself came out to speak to me about what my baby needed. My other vet only sent out the techs to speak to me. Everyone was just so nice too!

After calling well over 20 vets, animal hospitals, and animal ER's only to be flat out turned away,my dog had the fortunate luck to be given a private referral to Dr Sangani. This Dr not only answered the phone on the first ring, he also made space in his already fully booked schedule to see my dog. No hesitation, no questions, just a simple,can you be here in an hour? OMG, talk about a guardian angel! The facility was warm and inviting, very sanitary, and a place that I would happily board my dog in the future. We were promptly seen by both the vet tech and the Dr, and they were both friendly, concerned, and professional. I am gladly bringing my dog back for further care, and plan on establishing Dr. Sangani as our family vet. Highly recommend this practice to anyone with a fur baby.
