Great people here. Very friendly and can calm down even the most skittish kitty.

My cat gets better write ups from Dr. Lara than my husband gets from his doctor. It's also easier to contact Dr. Lara than it is to get through the phone chain or attempt to send an email to my husband's doctor. We can also get an appointment for our cats to be seen at this clinic faster than for my husband, and when we get there the time to actually be seen is much, much shorter. I am considering claiming that my husband is a cat and trying to sneak him into River City, but I'm not sure that I can find a carrier big enough for him.

They’re amazing and have been since we first saw Dr. Powell in 1983! I’ll always get my cat’s care from them. They are truly the best.

They take great care of my very senior cat, and don't write him off due to age like some mixed practice hospitals can do. The doctors are very detailed and kind. Highly recommend waiting out the new client wait list.

I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else. The staff here is amazing and super supportive. When I discovered that my newly adopted kitten was very sick, they did everything in their power to care for her and they provided me with the emotional and informational support I needed. It is because of this clinic's dedication to caring for cats that my Chibi is still alive and currently healthy.

After moving to Sacramento, we had to find a new vet to replace our wonderful vet from Davis. River City Cat clinic has been great. They're very gentle with our cats, and very knowledgable. They provide terrific advice when asked. No reservations about bringing our cats here!

The whole team is kind and compassionate and truly loves the kitties they care for. I’ve been going for several years and Dr. Quinley always helps me make the best decisions for my kitty with GI lymphoma. Love them so much!

River City Cat Clinic is excellent, I'm not surprised they have a wait list for new clients. My kitty with arthritis has been treated so well by the staff, I love this vet.

They were so kind and friendly with us and our dear cat. We felt like we were there already many times. Medical care was also very professional, and prices are affordable. Prior to the visit we were discussing with them our case preliminary via email, so upon the appointment they knew whew to pay additional attention, so there was no time waste.

What a great vet! The staff also rocks. We've been seeing this Vet since leaving our other Vet in town. A trusted vet can be difficult to find...but River City Cat Clinic is exactly that!

The veterinarians and staff provide the best care. I have taken my 2 cats to this clinic ever since they were 8 months old (they are now 7). I would recommend this clinic.

RCCC is truly a gem. They’ve been treating our 2 kitties for over two years and even through this pandemic, they provide great care. The vets we used back in SF really didn’t have the specific feline knowledge and weren’t able to diagnose specific things that were easily diagnosed here. They are very accountable when they’ve made mistakes, which is so refreshing in a world where not many small businesses have the humility to do so. I think when it comes time for us to leave Sac in the coming years, leaving RCCC will definitely be felt. They are a great team & really care for each individual cat who comes into their care.

A great place to bring your cat for routine shots or a complete exam performed by competent and very knowledgeable people who will treat you and your cat to a low stress experience. The doctors are always happy to answer your questions and the cost is reasonable and they give follow up advice that's easy to understand and remember. You and your cat will be happy with your experience and you will want to come back for all your cat's health care needs.

I have taken my two boys here for years and the Doctors and their team are truly wonderful, big-hearted, and knowledgeable people who love their patients! I hope I never have to find another cat vet because they are the best all cat clinic, paws down ????

The friendliest, most helpful vet I've ever been to. They didn't try to upsell me, but they did do a great job of explaining all of my options.

Excellent service. They have a great covid-19 safety procedures and are very diligent with them. Cat only care makes my cat more comfortable without dogs around. The doctors are knowledgeable and very confident in their practice.

I liked this kitty clinic. Designated for cats only was a nice experience for my Fluffy cat. Cats know when they are going to see the vet. so atmosphere is very important.

I love River City Cat Clinic! The staff are wonderful, cat lovers one and all. They are always helpful as well as professional and they are doing a great job of caring for their patients (and their patients' humans) during Covid.

Dr. Lara and team are the BEST. If you want your cat to have the best care, go see them.

Their web site says "open during COVID" but they are not accepting new patients, at all. Nobody, no matter what. So maybe they're open for someone, but it's not us. They should really update their web site to say NO NEW PATIENTS so we don't waste our time - or our cat's!

Super friendly and attentive to my cat's needs.

They were very friendly. They made an extra effort to make sure my precious baby wasn't to shaken up from the visit. They were also more expensive for the office visit, shots, and for the free medication than my last vet (who had recently retired)

Wonderful staff and service! Our older boy needed a tooth extraction (his first) and we were nervous about how he would handle such a procedure at his age. Everything went perfectly and his recovery was very fast!

Great place for cats only. Got us in immediately for an emergency. Been going there withy cats since 1975.
