Dr Dinger and the Midtown staff have been exceptional in the care provided to my dogs over the years. I've moved a bit and have changed vets a few times, but this remains my favorite and I'm delighted to be a client of theirs again. They're worth every penny to know my dogs are well cared for. Thank you guys

Dr. Dinger doesn’t call patients back via phone only email. I’ve never had a vet refuse to talk on the phone. Also, his opinions and assessments were inconsistent with two other vets. In fact, the other vets basically laughed when I told them what he said to me. Seems like he his old medicine and not up-to-date. Would highly recommend you check out another vet before going to him. Definitely the worst vet I’ve gone to in the past 20 years. He will be “too busy” to provide care.

Absolutely love this hospital. They are always crazy busy but clearly take great care of their patients. Dr. True is a phenomenal doctor. Couldn’t recommend more confidently!

Dr True is a wonderful veterinarian. She takes the time to give information and explain my dog's issues in a way that I can understand. This animal hospital is highly recommended. The whole staff is A+++

Midtown Animal Hospital is absolutely the best. The. Best. I moved here from a small town up north with my 2 cats, one of whom is 16 years old. My 16 yo had begun having digestive issue and losing weight and did not take well to the move and I was beside myself. I am very bonded to my cat, Padme, and she to me and she doesn't like many other people. My gf took her bunny to MAH and recommended them, this was at the beginning of the pandemic, a very difficult time all around. The staff and doctors at MAH are kind and caring. They helped Padme, after a lot of work (Padme is quite feisty) and when I was having difficulty giving her the meds needed they helped me develope a solution, including finding a pharmacy that does medicated chews. Doctor True especially showed much care, for both Padme and myself, in spending time discussing issues and options with me and answering questions. She is absolutely wonderful! Her care and concern is so open and abundant. I can't say enough good things about Midtown Animal Hospital, they are just the best! If you love your pets, bring them here.

I've been taking my pets here for 10 years. They are great with them and are honest about options and prices. I've never felt pressured to make certain choices. They know me when I walk in and have always been helpful. I have moved away from midtown, but still bring my pets there.

They are very good with my 2 senior terriers.

The staff and Drs have been taking care of my cat Molly for years...through 5 teeth surgeries and other complex issues that I can’t afford to confront. They have never tried to sell me something I can’t afford yet here she is...still alive and doing well after all her weird medical issues at 15! My friends also are clients.

I have brought my dogs here for years. Guided people, great vets. I appreciate that everyone is good natured, sympathetic and practical.

My cat was acting not quite right. After reading the reviews, I decided to make an appointment. The staff was very nice but when the doctor came in....she talked and talk about his kidney disease. We were not there for that and his blood levels were under control .Something was wrong with his mouth and i could not get a word in to explain his symptoms. She grabbed him by the scruff kind of roughly to examine him. I asked to help and said he would not bite he is just noisy and letting you know he is not happy. She said yeah people say that all the time. I get that. I worked at the SPCA in Santa Clara and was not oblivious to how things can happen. She drew some blood and I was out of there in 15 minutes. A day later i got a call that said his blood levels were slightly elevated but due to his kidney issues they were ok....which i knew already. She had no idea what was wrong and wanted to put him on anti nausea medicine. He was not nausea. She then said we can do a dental cleaning and while he was under we can examine him more thoroughly. The dental is a $600 starting procedure and was a month out. I made the appointment and hung up the phone. It took me all of about an hour to find someplace else for a second opinion. I went to Jefferson Park Vet where I was listened to. We sedated him so she could examine him. Unfortunately he had cancer and is now gone. His dental appointment is still over a week out....The cancer was aggressive and there was nothing to do but we as pet owners know our babies better than anyone. I was barely given an opportunity to speak nor was i even heard. I feel she walked in that room with a preconceived notion that it was his kidneys and he was a grump cat. In reality, he was in pain, he was very sick and now he is gone. I tell everyone about this experience and tell them not to go there. Though i am grieving, this is about not taking the time to really listen and recommending overpriced procedures.

Well we waited three hours to be seen, but they got the correct diagnosis for a reasonable price. Par for the course I guess.

If you're looking for a reptile vet, I recommend Dr. Craig Dinger. I went to a different local vet who didn't make me feel confident in the treatment options and didn't seem that experienced with reptiles. Midtown squeezed me in same day to see Mr. Dinger. You can tell he knows reptiles. I highly recommend him.

Midtown Animal Hospital has the best staff, hand's down. They are caring and compassionate for all of the animals in my life. I would heartily recommend them to anyone needing care for their four legged friends.

Excellent care for our pups!!! Dr. Dinger got down on the floor and sat and cuddled our fur baby while examining her and talking to us about his plan for her care. She ended up having TPLO surgery, and the staff always remembered us, our pups name, and why we were there. Best Vet we've been to in 20 yrs!!! We are clients for life ❤️

My dog had Dental Surgery at Midtown Animal Veterinary today and we couldn't be more happy or satisfied to have this Veterinary Hospital for our dog the medical staff always take great care of the animals and their well-being and they are very good at keeping the pet's owners well informed of what's going on,and I love the price that we pay for our little baby and her well being when she goes there for all of her medical needs,I would and have referred friends and family members pet's there because I feel they are the best,So Thank You Midtown Animal Veterinary for always taking great care of our pet's we are definitely happy customers.
