I have called this place 3 times just to be told they are too busy and I should go somewhere else. What is the purpose of a local VCA. If they are just going to turn folks away?????

I will come back to this vet again and again. They are so kind to my animals and always willing to work with my extremely high strung shepherd. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for this clinic! They are kind, compassionate and so ready and willing to work with you on what's best for your pets.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SITUATIONS TO PROFIT. PLEASE DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. TRUST ME THEY CARE MORE ABOUT GETTING OUT OF THE OFFICE ON TIME THAN YOUR SICK/ DYING PET.

If your pet has a chronic condition, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS VET. This office is so incredibly disorganized and mediocre, and I have been disappointed by them time and time again with my cat's diabetes management. About a year ago, she was having seizure activity from hypoglycemia, and instead of squeezing her in for an appointment, they told me to take her to an emergency vet. Even though it was business hours, they refused to see her! The only reason I was taking her here is for proximity, but I won't be any longer. There's no consistency with which doctor is going to see the animal. The office staff never calls you back when you leave messages, even after multiple phone calls. As an RN who works directly in patient care, I'm appalled by this office and their lack of organization and compassion.

We have utilized this hospital for years and have always gotten excellent service. As long as we live in the Sacramento area, we will continue to use VCA's services. Dr. Sarte and Dr. Hollern have been great to work with and have privided excellent care to our animals.

Our dogs love it here. The staff are friendly, attentive and upbeat. My husband and I are very happy with the quality of care offered.

Great place!! I take both my dogs here. They are a full service vet that also boarding. The employees are really nice and always show great care to my dogs. They can be busy at times and also occasionally get slow, so be patient.

I have brought my dogs and cats to Westside for several years. The staff and doctors are friendly, helpful, and compassionate. I moved from Southport to the Sac State area but I still bring my animals here for their checkups and treatments. They also offer cat boarding!

I had taken my elderly dog there who had been diagnosed with bone cancer. The staff was kind, compassionate and caring.They really cared for how it was breaking my heart having to put my faithful friend and companion to sleep.leting me stay …

We've been taking our pets to VCA Westside Animal Hospital for 10 years. Our dogs and cats receive excellent care here. The doctors and staff are top notch.
