The best dog training facility and best dog trainer (colleen b)! I could not be more happy and pleased with the training that my pups have received and continue to receive. Highly recommend Lorenzo's and my amazing trainer!

They have taught me how to communicate clearly in the way dogs understand. We were helped so much with training our puppy to stay, and to heal. The leash training has made walking our dog so much more enjoyable. Our puppy no longer gets distracted by others around her. Her focus is on me when we are out and it takes the stress away. When you know your dog won’t be lunging at others or other animals, you have the freedom to really play with them and take them wherever you want with complete trust of your puppy. They have taught us hand signals so that verbal commands aren’t always necessary. Whenever I had a question or problem during training on my own, I would text them and they would help me right away. It’s been a wonderful investment for my family. The training process also creates a wonderful bond between you and your dog. She loves to please and use her mind. I am very glad we found Amanda and Nathan.

Nathan Rehmer in Bigfork, MT has been an amazing trainer with our Newfoundland who is 14 months and is not neutered yet. Needless to say Juneau’s a big boy who was pretty rambunctious. After the first training our mouths dropped open as to what the 2 of them accomplished. It’s like they spoke the same language. Juneau wasn’t perfect but he was really listening and responding to the experience. As time has gone on the listening and respect has increased and transferred over to our family and daily life. Nathan has been a great teacher as we did not catch on as quickly as Juneau. We highly recommend the Lorenzo’s method and Nathan as a trainer.

Kristen was amazing. Not only did she teach Boomer how to be the perfect dog, but she taught me so much about dogs and how to interact and work with them. I am in awe of her ability to help Boomer and I become a happy family. I have never had such a wonderful personal relationship as Boomer and I now share. I definitely recommend anyone wanting to develop the perfect relationship with your dog to get with Kristen.

My fiancé and I cannot speak highly enough about Kristen! We had hit a wall a few months ago with our year-old labradoodle, Kenna. We love our pup, but walks were brutal to say the least. She would pull & zig-zag the entire time. We learned so much throughout our training sessions about teaching Kenna that we are the leader & she responds to us. Leash training has been a game changer. We no longer allow her to roam around the house & inevitably find something to chew up… instead we have learned that she needs her own “spot” where she can chew toys and relax. Kristen was always so quick to respond to our texts (there were many SOS moments in the beginning), but if you trust the process, this training works. Forever grateful we took this leap and started with Kristen.

Bruce is literally a miracle worker. Our two dogs began fighting horribly when the younger one outgrew the older one. They couldn’t even walk past each other without a fight. 2 weeks with Bruce, and they now pretty much live in harmony, with the added bonus of obedience! Bruce was seriously a life-changer for our household, and he genuinely cares about the dogs!

Amanda and Nathan Rehmer have been a lifesaver for us with our dogs. We had a reactive nervous pup that was not handling a move or a new dog in the household and we were so lost on what to do. Amanda came to our house and explained the training and how everything works. We sent our pup off with her and Nathan for 3 weeks and what they’ve done for us has been nothing short of amazing. The continued training and support has made them a special part of our family and I’m so grateful to call them friends as well. I only wish I had done this sooner and been a better owner for my dogs. We have had 2 dogs in their care for training and they’re the only people I would trust.

I will say this first and formost: these people are absolutely WONDERFUL at problem solving, and working with Ascia to help my dog Dottie was an absolute delight. If you read no further, then please know your dog is in good hands with this team, and if you have a problem they will absolutely assist you in every way possible. I was recommended to go here by my vet, and was first working with a trainer named Steven. He was extraordinarily unprofessional, and taught me nothing useful. I found out later Steven had been let go of the team for these reasons early into our training with my dog Dottie and he had never let me know (Lorenzo's had tried to reach out but the phone number on file was wrong... Whoops! My bad.) When i reached out to lorenzo's I was understandably upset, as i hadnt heard from steven in 3 months and had only recieved 3 of the 8 trainings I had already paid for for two dogs, but he along with Ascia worked with me to help me and Dottie get the training we needed. The other dog was unable to continue training as he was my moms and she went through neck surgery, and he was extremely helpful and understanding with that as well. I found out steven was not using the right techniques NOR had he given us the right equipment. Dottie used to be extremely loud and anxious having people over, and distrusting of strangers and working with this team she looks to me before going crazy barking or lunging. Its actual night and day from when I adopted her. My dog has always been high strung since i got her and after steven i went to them thinking nothing would work, but this team (And Ascia really deserves so much credit!!) will absolutely take exceptional care of you and your pooch if you're vocal about problems you're having. I regret biting my tongue to be polite when i realized steven was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful, and am more grateful than i could ever express for the help Lorenzo and Ascia specifically, as well as every other trainer who helped me on this team, for what they provided my dog and I. And to ANYONE who reads this considering Steven Mazzola for training, who i hear is doing his own thing now, i'll tell you what i wish i had known: he will take your money happily and cancel appointments, change locations last minute, meet with you three times before never reaching out to you again, and I saw very little if ANY progress with either of my dogs who saw him. Both dogs are anxious around strangers and would lunge/nip/bark, and though the other did not continue training with Lorenzo due to the owner's medical issues, the difference is night and day between the two dogs. Trust a professional, reputable team. Please, for your sanity and honestly your dogs long term health ????

I highly recommend Bruce Maldonado, with Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team. Our results were nothing short of amazing. One of the things that I appreciated the most is that Bruce included the kids in all of our trainings so they have same influence as us. If you are considering professional dog training, I’d highly recommend having Bruce come out for a in-home evaluation. You’ll see a difference in just a few minutes of him working with your dog. The end result is absolutely priceless! Our only regret is not investing in professional training sooner.

Nathan in Montana helped me to become the leader of our pack. Now I enjoy taking my pups out instead of avoiding potential challenging situations. The training progression makes so much sense & I appreciate the process. Highly recommend!

Yesterday was bittersweet ????. Jiraiya our 5 month Bernese Mountain dog just finished his last advance obedience training course. We are so grateful and enjoyed our training sessions with Bruce Maldonado! He is a young and upbeat trainer who makes training not a chore! Bruce has been very attentative to our questions and answered in a timely manner. which is a plus for first time owners! He has helped improve and enjoy our time with Jiraiya! My husband and I have learned alot beyond training and have applied these trainings to our daily routamens. We had so much success and fun while training that Jiraiya was way ahead of his sessions timeline! We even had a little fun with extra challenges for the last few sessions! We can't wait for future trainings on Retrieval with Jiraiya and Bruce! Could not reccomend him enough!

Bruce Maldonado has been our saving grace. We kept coming to a dead end when attempting to train our puppy. We found he would only respond and do something if there was a treat involved. Bruce helped us transition to hand signals and more praise which has only benefitted our family as a whole. We have learned that it’s more training for us, as the owners, than for our pup. Our pup wants to listen, but we were the ones who needed to be trained on how to better influence our pup! We can’t thank the Lorenzo’s dog training team enough and overly grateful to have Bruce as he’s extremely knowledgeable and personal; he truly cares about what’s best for your pup and family! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

We completed on-leash training with Ascia and off-leash training with Colleen. Both worked patiently with my family and our VERY stubborn dog. I like that I was able to get in touch with them any time I needed to ask questions. We still need to continue to work with our dog on training, but he has improved so much! I would definitely take another dog here!

Let me start off by saying this company deserves 10 stars???????????????????????????????????????? I found Lorenzo'Dog training in a Doberman group I'm apart of in Las Vegas. There was a trainer in the group that was mentioned by the name of Sarai. Her and her team Brendan, Lorenzo showed up for the initial consultation all were very nice, professional and knowledgeable. We were in need of some serious help with our one year old male Doberman Dino. It was getting so bad that we even considered having to rehome him????. We have 7 kids and it was becoming extremely difficult having a 8th( our pup) I knew we had to get some help, I didn't want to see my precious boy go. Some of the struggles we dealt with, with Dino were, He would pull (drag us) on walks, had zero respect for me, would listen to my husband only when he felt like it, eat out the trash, bolt in and out of the house sometimes knocking the small kids down, whining, chewing and eating things he wasn't supposed to. The list goes on. Let me say after training with Brendan we have us a new and extremely improved Dino. All of the above he doesn't do anymore. I could cry. We went on a 4 mile walk with distractions from people and other dogs and Dino didn't leave my side. I'm truly impressed and grateful to Brendan and Lorenzo' Dog I could truly cry I literally thought there was no hope for him and that we'd have to rehome him. I'm forever grateful for Brendan and the company. All of the knowledge, confidence, techniques, tools, patience, guidance, training us on how to train him has been a breath of fresh air. We are truly truly thankful and definitely looking forward to continuing working with Brendan for future trainings. Our Dino is happy and we're definitely happy. Again THANK YOU ????

My whole family is a Raving Fan of Bruce Maldonado and Lorenzo's dog training! Our dog training experience was fun, effective and a great memory maker for everyone. I didn't quite know what to expect when signing up for dog training, but whatever my expectations were, Bruce exceeded them. Like many, we had a new puppy, a mini aussie-doodle (PupperZ), and had no idea where to begin. We interviewed a few different dog trainers and felt like we had good rapport with Bruce. He made it easy right from the beginning, and I felt like I learned something new and important every week. What we learned is that dog training is really about people training, and once Bruce trained us how to lead and influence our dog - our enjoyment with PupperZ became so much more. Of course the basics are taught - house training, boundaries, sit, stay, etc. But the real magic is being able to increase our influence from a distance and off-leash. Bruce can show you how to have a dog that comes when called, doesn't run off, doesn't bark every time someone knocks at the door, and is a joy to have around. I highly recommend Bruce!

We just completed training with Robert Wesling with our 10-month-old Doberman. With such a large and headstrong dog on our hands, we knew it was imperative to seek the help of a professional to guide us in teaching our dog to be well-mannered. From our first meeting with Robert and Blu, we knew that Lorenzo's would give us the help we were needing. Our dog wouldn't stop playing too rough, was completely unruly on a leash, counter surfing non-stop, and honestly, just an all-around pain to deal with. Robert not only taught our dog how to behave and follow commands, he bolstered our confidence as dog owners and pack leaders. He was there any time that we had questions or just needed reassurance that we were getting it right. Our dog learned to respect us, she learned patience, and we simply can't believe how far we all have come. We have the confidence to guide our dog and continue to train her and we have a more stress-free home, allowing us more time to simply enjoy having her as part of our family. Thank you for everything, Robert, we're sad that basic training is finished, and really look forward to more advanced training in the future.

We had an amazing experience training our way-too-big puppy. Ascia helped us be able to control him on walks and around other dogs while using basic training methods. We are so pleased with the results!

So thankful that I had come to Lorenzo’s for my dog's training. My trainer was Ascia. SHE IS GREAT. When my pup and I first met her, she walked us through the whole process and reassured that she will take great care of my dog. That she did. I had my American bulldog (2 years old) boarded with her for a week and it was a night and day difference. Previously he was very reactive towards other people and dogs where he had bit someone, as to why we had to find training immediately. When I picked up my dog, he was so well behaved and I have learned so much about how to perform the correct commands . I was worried about if his fun, loving personality would change, but it didn’t. I could tell he was more comfortable being a dog and he has never been better. Through the whole process, Ascia has been very patient with all that has been involved in the training process and always made accommodations with training sessions due to my work schedule. In the future, I will recommend her and Lorenzo’s training to anyone that is in need of dog training.

I cannot recommend positive reinforcement training enough. As you are researching training options for your dog, please considering positive reinforcement vs. this training. I’ve done both now and the difference is night and day. Lorenzo’s uses “corrections” as a method of training, i.e. electric collars and tugging on prong collars. That is painful for a dog and adds more stress into an already stressful situation. My dog actually had chunks of scabs from the prong collar pinching and breaking her skin after she came back from training. When your dog constantly lives in fear of what’s going to happen if they move away from you or don’t listen to you (tugging their prong collar or using the electric collar), none of their issues or fears are going to be resolved. Please take it from me and save your dog the stress.

Shortly after we adopted Luna, it became clear that we were in need of help. Luna is a strong, willful, strong, determined, strong, dominate lovable goofball…did I mention STRONG!? She was pulling so hard on her harness that she had bald spots on her legs from the resistance. I did a lot of research on trainers, had our evaluation, and signed up. Luna was with Bruce for almost 3 weeks, and the difference already was shocking. Bruce taught me how to impart my influence on Luna, and I was able to walk her…something I previously dreaded doing. I cried tears of joy and relief. I had been thinking that if we continued down the path we had previously been on, Luna was going to overpower me and my daughter, and we might have to find a better home for her. I felt like I was failing Luna, and Bruce gave me the knowledge to succeed with her. Even while we continued to successfully work on her obedience, I didn’t think my strong-willed dog would ever be able walk off-leash. I figured she (really me) would just flunk that part of training. Cue the tears again when I was able to walk her off-leash independently!!! Bruce was knowledgeable about my dog’s unique breed. He was empathetic to Luna’s temperament and moods during training (she had one very squirrelly day, and Bruce adapted the session to meet her needs). He is empathetic to the me as Luna’s owner, and explained things in ways to help me be better. He is easy to get ahold of, easy to schedule with, and flexible. I honestly do not know what I would have done without Bruce & his training. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I’ve had Ascia work with my dog Mando for 6 sessions so far and I’ve seen such a huge difference. My dog is a total goofball, but with Ascia’s help he follow commands, responds to the leash leading and is already doing great learning off leash training! I highly recommend her!

We have had a wonderful experience with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team and specifically our trainer, Bruce Maldonado. Our dog, Moose, absolutely loves the time he spends with Bruce, he has had a positive influence on Moose and has dramatically changed our own family dynamic! Thanks to Bruce and his simple, yet effective tools, we can now enjoy walks with Moose, enjoy introducing him to new people, and can welcome people into our home at any time without having to worry about a "jumping, hyper" dog! Moose is now enjoying his life to the fullest!

Best dog training ever!!! Took both of my dogs to Lorenzo after they have been in couple previous training and they basically told us it’s a hopeless case. We left them with Lorenzo for one month and I honestly couldn’t believe that what we got back was MY Duke & My Max that terrorized us for years LOL. I will never be able to thank them enough specially Rasheed, man you are magician!!! I can’t say am satisfied and happy because the way we feel is way way more than that. Lorenzo (Thank You) Rasheed (THANK YOU) Tim (Than you) I can take my babies with me everywhere now and not worry about being sued LOL. Finally got my money’s worth out of a real dog training ♥️

I am so glad I found Lorenzo’s! After rescuing an older dog from a bad situation, she was in need of basic obedience and I needed help leading her. I was connected to Ascia at Lorenzo’s and from the first meeting, I was confident she’d be able to help. It felt as if a friend was helping me train my dog. Ascia was patient, kind, funny and yet authoritative to get Maribelle and I to learn! Within a short amount of time, I saw progress and changes in Maribelle. And in about 6 weeks, she was no longer ‘scared stiff’ around loud voices like fireworks - still scared but not lifeless. I can’t thank Ascia and Lorenzo’s enough for all the help! I see nothing but a bright future for this stubborn old lady dog and me, now that I know how to lead her.

Ascia has been wonderful to work with. She is patient in her instruction (with us and our puppy) and has a clear passion for dogs. Anytime we had questions or concerns, she was understanding and very helpful. We've even boarded our puppy a couple times because we truly trust Ascia. As first-time dog owners, this training is worth the investment. We completed the on-leash basic obedience and have received compliments from friends and neighbors on our puppy's behavior. We will soon return for off-leash work!

Ascia Hancock from Lorenzo’s dog training team was amazing to work with. We have a very stubborn one year old golden retriever that is now well trained and behaved after our four on leash and four off leash training sessions. Ascia is very knowledgeable, patient and easy to work with. She also went out of her way multiple times with our dog which was extremely helpful during her training. I recommend Ascia to anyone who is looking for a trusted professional dog trainer!

The negative reviews speak for themselves. Please do read. You should know they manipulate the + review numbers and get ppl to remove negatives happened to yours truly. I wouldn’t take my chances here. Hindsight is 20/20. Got some results but not all…not the same compared to others especially in behavior mod department. Failed to meet all stated claims and all goals. Went through a lot of bulls;$@. They were very mentally/emotionally toxic as witnessed by those closest to me. In the end Lorenzo abused my dog before my eyes. I can’t wait to see their reply/cover-up/gaslight as is the usual. Please spare yourself and your beloved dog. Ldtt is like a box of chocolates and Harry Potter jelly beans…you never know what you’re going to get. It wasn’t worth it…$25k. The guy Jason bashed sit means sit which I used before but at least they are upfront and direct…it’s a reason why they are endorsed by Animal Planet and many other national corporations but Lorenzo’s is not. Wanted to support black business. Hugely disappointed. Lacking in the honesty and ethics department. Many I told weren’t surprised based off of other public reviews and his reputation word on the street. I will keep working on my goals I really don’t need them especially with how toxic they ended up. I also asked them in writing not to use any of my or my dogs image on anything yet they simply violated that. I worked directly with Lorenzo and his training assistant himself. Thank you…I expected nothing less than this exaggerated wrong response. I’ll be sure to spread the word of ALL of what Actually happened during my time. People who know me know I don’t lie, it’s nothing to fib about. Im very passionate and have a thing for justice and know god don’t like ugly. Rashied even said to me that a trained dog should not still to be jumping on people, whining and not be crate trained, leash pulling, lunging, etc. Too bad the photographer there that day of the abuse didn’t catch a shot. Hmmm don’t want that cat out the bag do you? You strangled the dog into submission when didn’t want go into kennel and we been cut ties, when I assertively and kindly stated my concerns Lorenzo you banned me from the training center and Ascia’s group class. Also you drug my mother bear into whom you brought unnecessary distress & anger to and proved to her what type of person you can be. You shouldn’t be shocked because I expressed my concerns and told you directly that I don’t like writing negative reviews, but will again if I feel need to. You promised me a 5star rating experience but fell a few short. I don’t think anyone likes being played with when they pay $25k for services and get jerked around told one thing, then another, then another, then another…Yal put me through s:&! bottom line. Lo is a slick businessman who has a very grimy side. My 1st experience with Jason was an accurate representation. Please do stop communicating because you’re not entertaining me, you’re antagonizing me now.

Tucker graduated from Lorenzo’s over the weekend. Tucker and I enjoyed our sessions with Bruce Maldonado and looked forward to our weekly meetings. As Tucker’s owner, I learned so much from Bruce on the proper training techniques and skill sets needed to keep Tucker safe and happy. Bruce is not only knowledgeable, but very passionate about his work and it shows. I highly recommend Bruce to any owner looking to give their dog the proper training. Thanks Bruce, you were awesome. Well worth the investment!

I am so incredibly thankful to have met Mr. Daniel “Deuce” Bainbridge. My 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer Hamilton was and is in many ways the perfect dog. Unfortunately, my little guy has always had a case of severe separation anxiety. No cage, barrier, room or door was able to keep my crafty little guy from escaping. Hamilton would get so worked up that I would receive several noise complaints when he was left alone. So much so that I could never leave Hamilton alone in my own home... Instead of reaching out to a professional trainer I tried to fix the issue on my own for 2 years. As one could imagine I was unsuccessful. My life was being controlled and dictated by Hamilton’s separation anxiety. Thankfully, everything changed when my girlfriend Laura decided that enough was enough. Laura decided to ask our veterinarian here in Pensacola for advice. We received Daniel’s contact information and were told that he was the absolute best and that he could help us. The initial consultation with Daniel was incredibly informative. He made us feel comfortable and listened to our wants, needs and goals for Hamilton. He demonstrated his abilities of being the phenomenal dog whisperer that he is. He also demonstrated his ability to coach. Through this entire process I have been coached and trained as much as Hamilton has (minus the collars). Hamilton spent 4 weeks with Daniel and came back a completely different dog. Daniel and I had three sessions where he patiently showed me how I needed to continue to work with Hamilton to keep the new behaviors that were instilled. He has always made himself available to answer questions and to give advice. We are at the point to where I can leave Hamilton alone in his cage without having to worry about him escaping and potentially injuring himself. We are now working on off leash training! Something I never imagined being possible. I will continue to work with Daniel and use him for other services such as boarding! This is very much a process. It is a process that works incredibly well and I encourage anyone to finally make the decision that they may have been prolonging. Additionally, I encourage anyone to make that choice with Daniel as their trainer!

We worked with Bruce Maldonado, and couldn't be happier with the results. He trained our 7 year old aussie, Bucky, in basic obedience. Bucky was more than a handful with strangers, whether that be new people or new dogs. Today, I took Bucky to the local Petsmart. We walked with a loose leash, Bucky in a perfect heel, through the isles greeting strangers along the way. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with Bucky's behavior. Perhaps I was more impressed than the strangers as they didn't know what a nut he was just 2 months ago. He still has a lot to practice, but now I know the biggest problem was my own training. Hire Bruce to train you, and you can train all your dogs. See my two favorite pups just chilling on their beds in the attached image. We trained the black Shepard after our instruction with Bruce. Truly life changing. Thank you Mr. Maldonado!
