My dog ran away and after months of trying to find her I did and I found out my already adopted dog was ADOPTED and when I emailed them about it they said I couldn’t get in contact with the “owner”

Great center, very friendly and helpful staff. The cats all looked happy and healthy and you can tell the volunteers really love animals. A+ place to adopt.

This place wasn't even open to speak to anyone. You call the numbers listed and placed on a call tree of 311. Which goes around and and around. I wouldn't have been there if if wasn't for the fact of my family's heartbreaking situation of having to surrender our cats. That's bad enough, but then you try to do everything you can to re-home them so your family's safe from losing there only place to sleep and you get to a CLOSED DOOR, with all sorts of signs but no contact info. Really heartbreaking, thanks ????????????????

Happy Tails is a great local rescue. We adopted a cat from them in 2016, and she's a beautiful girl that probably would not have survived without Happy Tails.

This is an amazing place that’s a “No Kill” Sanctuary for those unfortunate kitties that need a home and/or some TLC

We adopted our little girl here and what a joy she is! We named her Little Bit (they called her Virginia) and she fits right in our family! Adoption fee is $100 and the kittens are spayed and neutered, first set of shots, flea treated, etc. Their facility is clean and all of there felines are happy and healthy!

Amazing place! They take great care of all furry residents and are very thorough in the adoption process. I recommend adopting from them!

They helped during a rough period. Allow me to devulge a mistake I seriously made and I didn't realize it then- I realize it now.If you find yourself and your furbaby in a situation that has no solution- I highly feel it's better ( hardest thing for you) to do right by hi or her and allow them to help place you furbaby in a home - no judgement, I thought at the time I asked for their help I could have her when housing became available.Well I found an apt.and ....I couldn't provide for her.I wish I hadn't thought of my needs and more over thought of hers. This is the advice I didn't hear , it's the right and the hardest descion to make, you'll feel better to know they are in a pet loving community and home. Thank you for taking Fiona.

I know they try to help as much as they can with low income families. Nothing really out there for Low Income. Unless you have a injured or very sick animal then they will see you and maybe cut your bill down. I just wished I could find a great Vet that will help me in paying payments to see my dog. She needs a physical and minor things. She is a very gentle pit and very very big. Good Luck to anyone that will help the poor with their emotional support pet

I sent an email asking about a cat on a Friday or Saturday. I heard back from someone named Cynthia on a Tuesday who left a voicemail and text message. I'm currently studying for an exam and told her I wouldn't be able to call and talk until tomorrow afternoon. Her text back was... bizarre to say the least. That if I didn't have time to call her, then I didn't have time to adopt a cat. I just told her to not contact me again... she wrote a "slam" affect to her response about her going to the place now.... uhhhhh what the.....? Well then, good luck!

I did not go here, nor did I actually contact anyone. I dialed their phone number, so that I could have it available for a friend. But to my understanding, their a good pet rescue.

This establishment has made such a positive impact on my life. Adopted a beautiful kitten and 1.5 years later she is thriving and happy. Happy Tails truly cares about the animals in their sanctuary.

They're either closed, or they might as well be. You're better off calling 311 and having the county come out and pick up the animal. It's a bummer I know.

It's nice that you can go here and sit in the room with cats that are grouped together based on age, personality, and medical issues. You have to make an appointment due to Corona virus issues. They update their website daily with the cats they have available for adoption. Most of them have bios so that you can better understand their personality and needs. They have cats that are very old to cats that are very young. And, if you adopt a cat but it doesn't work out they request that you bring the cat back to them for re-adoption.

Great people doing great work! I had been looking to adopt a second dog for months now, and all the shelters around me were very unresponsive and unhelpful. I messaged Happy Tails about a cute little pup, and they got back to me within the week. We met her and knew we wanted her, and within 3 days, I was signing the adoption papers. Unlike the shelter, they do require a home visit through zoom, but you can tell they want to make sure it's a good fit for the dog. Thanks to Kelly and Cathy for all their help!

The process of adopting a new baby from Happy Tails was a breeze. With the help of Cynthia we were able to find the perfect kitten. I was reassured over the fact that they interview possible adopters before you can come in to meet any kittens. I also loved that they made it to where only one person comes in at a time to meet the kitties. Would highly recommend.

I used to volunteer here and adopted my first kitty as an adult. Post covid, if you're looking to adopt or volunteer, this is a great spot.

The staff are friendly and really care a lot about the welfare of the animals. They also have an excellent foster program.
