I called this place December 17th to see about getting my cat treated for an abcess. The person that picked up the phone sounded drunk or high on opiates. Real drawn out, slow and confused. Sounded like a young person that just woke up with little to no sleep but it was in the middle of the afternoon. I gave her a chance, then she said in slow motion "so what are you calling about for your cat?" LOL, I had just told her! I told her you sound drunk and hung up. Sounded like she was off a fetanyl pill or doing dog dope. I wish I could say she was having an off day but it was just apparent something else was going on from the first greeting. I feel bad for even writing this considering all the good reviews but I have too, something wasn't right there..

I bring both if my dogs to campus commons pet hospital. The staff is super friendly and incredibly helpful.

I liked it for the cheap vaccination for my dogs

I came 15 minutes late and they still saw us right away. I had wrote a list of questions and concerns and the Dr was very nice and answered all my questions patiently. This was puppies 1st appointment and they were gentle and accommodating and at the end my dog was just sleeping on the floor of the exam room not nervous at all. And they were affordable and even gave us samples.

Dr Yule was awesome along with the staff. Friendly and kind towards our family and pet. I only wish they would of called us to see how our dog was doing after surgery. I'm so used to our family vet checking on her the next day, just surprised after having surgery this place hasn't even called to check on her and it's been 2 weeks.

My experience with Dr. Richardson and the staff at Campus Commons was fantastic. I was referred to them for my dog to receive TPLO surgery, I had never been through this process before and was nervous. Dr. Richardson was extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions. I felt comfortable leaving my dog in his hands. When we went back for the two week check up, my dog was actually overly excited to be back and I couldn't believe that. From start to finish I could not be happier with our experience. Highly recommend!

Always top notch service from the entire staff. Dr. Patton is easily the BEST in Sacramento. She's thorough and kind, never rushes you, allows and gladly answers any and all questions you have without ever making you feel ridiculous. She is the type of person who obviously loves her job and was born to do it! Highly recommend it!!!!

In April, our cat Molly who was very old became sick and had to be euthanized. Due the COVID shutdown, we were unable to go inside with Molly for the procedure. The hospital staff surprised us by sending a card with Molly's pawprint inside which we really appreciated.

Campus Commons Pet Hospital has been taking care of my family furry babies for many generations. I always get the care I expect and want. I highly recommend them for all of your pet needs.

This vet us top notch! Nobody cares and gives personalized attention to patients and their humans like Dr. Valerie and her staff! I'm very impressed with this vet hospital.

The best thing about this vet is the same to next day appointments available. Wait is okay, vet and tech were friendly. Tended to push towards purchasing food from them for various issues (weights, allergies, etc) that I felt could have be cared for other ways. When I needed a prescription, the cost was not told to me until I was read my bill at the end of the visit. Due to the difference in cost at the office and online I asked for a paper prescription and was treated with annoyance. I also had the online distributor contact the vet for approval, which I have easily had done in the past. The Vet denied the approval and required that I mail in the paper I received the day of my visit. I would not be upset if I had to bring my pet back in an emergency, but I will be looking for other vets for regular care.

I was in need of finding a new vet when my vet retired and I could not have stumbled upon a better place to take my fur babies. Dr. Patton and her crew are the nicest most understanding group of people just like my last that was. Dr. Patton really takes the time with her patients so you know she really cares I am so glad I stumbled upon Campus Commons Pet Hospital

Phenomenal Dr. Patton and her team of Assistants at Campus Commons Pet Hospital are unparalleled in their ability to diagnose and care for small animals. From the moment I met Dr. Patton she assured me that if I ever had an emergency with either of our dogs I should call her straight away. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable, loving and funny. I trust her implicitly in the care our dogs. I highly recommend this staff and their wonderful animal hospital.

First time here and they were great with my babies. Noticed the anxiety in my cat at first glance and, even though doing the bare minimum, made sure she was doing good and got a great health check. They were even able to clip the nails on both my babies. Can't believe they actually got my cat done. Amazing work ladies and thank you! Your awesome!

Campus Commons Pet Hospital has been a place of security and love for my fur babies. They offer immeasurable compassion and love for every pet and are kind and responsive to their owners. I’ve had a couple scares with my border collie who is devious and loves to get into everything, and they have been there for us through it all. I couldn’t recommend a better place to take your pet for all their needs.

I cannot recommend Dr. Patton and this vet hospital more. I brought my 9ish year old chihuahua in for some extensive dental work. If you saw my Luci's teeth before the cleaning and extractions that Dr. Patton did, you would be absolutely blown away to see Luci's mouth now. Her teeth are now beautiful, her breath is angelic, and we could not be more thankful for all of the hard work Dr. Patton and her staff put in for my sweet girl. To add to this, Luci is incredibly nervous around strangers and everyone at this hospital was incredibly patient and loving.

Junior our boxer just loves the staff at Campus Commons Pet Hospital, he just gets so excited to go there. He is a happy healthy boxer; and our 4th dog to have received life long care from this pet hospital. That means we have been coming here for a very long time 25+ years now and we would not even consider receiving care from anywhere else. This place feels like home to us and all my dogs have been happy coming here. Thank you for the excellent care you provide our fur-babies.

Our vet is amazing. She looks at our cats health from a holistic perspective. She genuinely cares about the well-being of our cats. Aside from excellent care, and attention to detail, she is patient in addressing all of our concerns from diet, flea treatment, behavior and over all health. We full hearty trust her direction and care!

Friendly, courteous, and thorough, I have taken all of my pets to see Dr. Patton and the staff for the last 3 years. Appointments are easy to make and, if the need is urgent, I have always been able to get one same-day. I wouldn't think of taking my dog or my cats anywhere else.

The Dr and staff are awesome. I felt that my concerns were addressed without being oversold on unnecessary treatment.
