Great place for skiing for young age and adult. Enough parking place.

Every Banfield I called wasn't taking new enrollments, sad about it , but that's because they are a GB pod wellness program. I will wait my turn patiently. Thanks Banfield for all you do for our babies.

Great customer service, vets are knowledgeable. A better experience than I thought we’d have.

I always loved Banfield in Natomas until today. The veterinarians themselves are amazing but I do not recommend the “highly recommended drop off”. I had an appointment at 8:15 and was placed on hold for 20 minutes before the initial receptionist picked up the phone again and asked me the same check in questions again as if I was a new caller, to then be placed on another hold. I wasn’t able to actually “drop off” my dog until 8:55. Now 45 minutes late to work.

I had an appointment canceled and was rudely hung up on by the younger sounding girl. I called back to complain about being hung up on but was actually given some great info as an alternative from Chanelle I think her name was

They were so kind and helpful I was able to get my kido in and they got him feeling better the doctor took time to explain his condition to me and what I needed to do to make him feel comfortable safe and cared for

I called Banfield on Florin road to make an appointment for my dog to have his teeth cleaned but they told me I would have to do a first visit exam before I can make that appointment since 4 years have passed since my pet's last visit. I asked the lady on the phone if it was okay to use the first exam visit coupon and she told me yes. I made an appointment but they were booked out longer than a month so I asked her if it was okay to call around other Banfield locations to see if I can get an appointment time sooner, and she told me yes. I called Banfield on Truxel and I made an appointment sooner. Two days before my appointment I called Banfield on Truxel and asked the lady on the phone if it was okay to use the coupon for the first time exam. She looked my dog up and told me it was since I had never been there before and it would be a first time visit. On the appointment day, I checked in and they had me wait around. After some time I came up to the counter and there were four ladies at the counter. I pulled out my coupon and they looked up my dog and told me I could not use the coupon because my dog had been to a Banfield location before. Then one of the ladies told me that she would check with her manager and they had me wait around some more. Then the lady comes back and says unfortunately the manager said I would not be able to use the coupon. I told them that I spoke with two different people on the phone by two different locations, (Florin and Truxel) and was assured that I would be allowed to use the coupon. Then another lady says there is nothing on file that says that. I was not sure I had to get something on file. No one told me that on the phone. I could have stayed and paid for the service, but these people seemed shady and dishonest, and I felt insulted because they tried to make me look like I was lying since "nothing was on file". Not to mention a waste of time having me stand around while they go talk to their manager. Why couldn't the manager personally come up to the counter, why so busy... Bad business practices, just intent on losing more business. My dog didn't seem to take a liking to them either. I guess dogs can sense these things. I cannot recommend this Banfield location after this experience.

Receptionist at the desk don't greet customers. However, the vet techs and people handling pups are very friendly.

I honestly never leave reviews but the treatment I got from this place was truly horrible. I first made an appointment for my puppy in June for early July. I understand that vets are busy right now so no complaints with having to wait a month and a half. That July appointment was then rescheduled for mid August because they had a COVID outbreak among their staff. Again, I understand that we’re in a pandemic and things happen. But then, in August, I got a call three days before my appointment telling me they are cancelling my appointment because they are not taking on new clients. They had two and a half months to tell me this and they did not. This is unacceptable business practice. I could’ve been on a waitlist for a better vet all this time. Now, my puppy will not be able to be spayed on schedule. This pet hospital doesn’t care about you or your pet.

I have wellness plans with Banfield. But somehow the reception desk and those who are supposed to keep us updated don’t fill the job. Your are put on hold 3 times in one morning and no one comes back. Then you get an email that your cat has an overdue comprehensive but none contacted you any form of communication. I stay here because I moved to Sacramento from the Bay thinking this branch should be as good.

I love their wellness plans. Their wellness plans have saved me so much money. The wellness plan I have for my older dog includes teeth cleaning, vaccinations, the office visit and more...I took her to get her teeth cleaned, dropped her off at 7 am then they called me when she was done. I didn't have to pay a dime cuz of the wellness plan and they did a phenomenal job cleaning her teeth. Her teeth look great! For both dogs' wellness plans I pay $90 a month and I never have to pay for anything but their meds which are always reasonably priced.

Something had scratched my Pomeranians eye and she could not see for a few weeks. The doctors here were amazing and provided a cream/ointment so she would be able to open her eye again. She did have to wear a cone for awhile but she’s all better now. Thank you for all your help! ????

I really like Bronte room because my dog has been with them since puppyhood. I took my not two months vaccination series and sign up for the wonderful wellness plan asap and saved lots of $$ on vaccines, spay plans, and discounts on her parasite preventatives (which not to mention a few were free as apart of the wellness plan). Dr. Quinones was one of the best vets that my dog has seen. Very caring, didn't recommend a ton of unnecessary tests and worked step by step to rule out minor illnesses instead of jumping to major diagnosis. The assistants were nice, and easy to converse with. I will bring my dog to them until my young pup turns into an old lady.

When you’re up all night wondering if your cat is going to make it to morning, the last thing you want to hear from your is “We don’t take walk ins”. We’ve been coming to this animal hospital for years with other pets, we are not strangers off the street. The policy itself is completely understandable, there was NO ONE ahead of us and more staff than animals. Additionally, the front desk clerk met us with 0 compassion and 0 empathy. It seemed she cared more about the rules than helping our pet. This is not the first time this specific employee has met us with this unwelcoming disposition. Begrugingly, they agreed to a stability check before they referred us out to another hospital(On the other side of town). They cleared us to travel and TOLD US our cat DID NOT have a fever. After being admitted to the emergency hospital, we were told our cat DID have a fever of 104 and needed treatment immediately. Either the Vet on duty (Dr. Quinones) intentionally put our cat at risk by telling us she didn’t have a fever, and clearing us to travel to the other side of town. OR The people in this facility cannot read a rectal thermometer. Either way, unacceptable. If you love your animals and don’t want to see scheduling conveniences put ahead of their welfare, you will bring your pets somewhere else.

I rarely leave reviews on Google but I couldn’t help myself after my conversation with Banfield today. I have a 14 year old dog that requires a refill of seizure medication every few months and was told the doctor was no longer there to prescribe. That I was required to bring my dog in to another doctor to develop a relationship before any medication can be given out. The next available appointment was over three weeks out. My dog needs medication immediately when I call and these are only available to prescribe after a certain date. Not saying this is, but it feels like a money grab than the importance of our dog. This is why I am with a local vet now and we’re able to prescribe the medication I needed. Plus Banfield was the same place that prescribed a dosage lower than expected for my dog. My dog was averaging a seizure every two weeks. I had to change vets because of this and if not for the medication I wouldn’t even bother calling this place. My dog is now on the correct “medications” and is doing great with our local vet.

I'm torn. The care my furr-baby has received at Banfield is wonderful. I've been taking her there since 2010. It's just the front desk... The last time I called, I didn't even get a hello before I was immediately put on hold. I was trying to reschedule my appointment. I ended up hanging up and scheduling through the app.

I’m tired of getting the run around. They auto renew your plan here and won’t let you cancel without a high fee. They won’t let you cancel it through the place but only through corporate. I tried to get my dogs meds but they won’t allow me to have someone pickup without a checkup and due to an injury I’m unable to get my dog in. Tired of this place. Don’t recommend.
