Animal Den Pet Resort & Spa Sacramento, California

Appreciate the loving care my little dog receives. Very welcoming and friendly staff. My Milo. knows when we are close to parking and going to check in,: he becomes very excited. Loves to play with all the other little dogs.

My two “boys” are guests at Animal Den Pet Resort and Spa several times a year. I never have concerns about their care or safety; I have peace of mind while I’m away. The staff is always friendly, courteous and professional. The boys are always tired upon returning home which I attribute to an active vacation at Animal Den Pet Resort and Spa! Thank you!

I had a boarding evaluation at The Local Bark and a day at Doggy Daycare at Animal Den and am so happy with the service I received at both locations! Everyone was friendly and professional and treated my dog with wonderful kindness and care. Booking my dog’s boarding stay over the phone was very easy and all of my questions were answered. Will definitely recommend!

My dog has been boarding here for over 12 years and walks very happily into the establishment. She definitely shows her disapproval of other places. I am very comfortable when she is staying there.

People who love dogs and understand how the behave to make everyones experience even better. Took my dog to the new Dog Park and he had a great time. So much fun. Give it a try for sure.

Animal Den is a great place for my dog. The staff are friendly and professional. I know that my have my dogs best interests at heart.

We love Animal Den and our pups (well, at least one pup) seem to really enjoy it. It would be really nice to have a picture or at least a short "report card" for what they did all day. Did they play with other dogs? Did they roam alone? Do they seem happy? Do they seem stressed? This would be really helpful as a pet-parent. Especially with our older dog, he clearly doesn't want to be dropped off. We've asked several times about this, "Is he fine once he gets to the back?" And folks say "yes" but it would be nice to see more specifics about that. This would be really helpful in determining if our older dog is actually comfortable there.

Great spot to board your pet! My dog Otis had a blast! He’s a high-energy, difficult dog and they embrace it and treat him as if he was the easiest dog in the world. The booking system is fast, easy, and convenient. Highly recommend!

Can't say enough about how amazing Animal Den is! I love how they know the pets and their owners. They post photos on social media of all the cuteness they do doing the day.

AMAZING!! Staff is so amazing and so great with my dog. She has been going to day care for awhile now and we literally can’t say enough good things. They communicate with at the end of everyday how her day went and she always comes home tuckered out and happy! Highly recommend to anyone, my dog and I love it :)

Dog people, and the company takes cars of its staff. That shows in how well they all take care of our pack. Worth the price.

Everyone is super friendly and professional. I felt comfortable boarding my senior cat as they are reliable, friendly and caring. They answered all my questions and their staff’s attentiveness shines through. I recommend Animal Den for your pet’s daycare/boarding needs. Ask if they can show cat photos on their page (if your kitty isn’t camera shy) you may see your kitty! I didn’t know previously. I appreciate their updates on my pet when asked - she is in good hands at Animal Den! Anytime my cat needs to be boarded Animal Den is the best. My cat definitely appeared to enjoy her time (smooth transition back to home) and that’s the best thing possible!!!

I left my dog for ten days. She was clean, in very good spirits. She was very well cared for. I live in the Bay Area and, from my experience, Animal Den is well worth the drive when I need to travel and I can’t bring my dog with me.

The best in my experience. My biggest regret from moving away from Sacramento is that Animal Den is such an incredible place to bring a dog. Staff are kind and knowledgeable and the prices are much lower than the Bay Area. I like how they seem to treat their employees well. And good luck finding a pool like they have at Animal Den, at least in San Jose it's hard to find..

Wonderful people! Great place to bring your dogs for grooming and play! Staff is great, Rachel is are normal groomer for are Golden Doodle! Always great groomes!

So far we've had a good experience with Animal Den. One thing that would be nice is to have some kind of short "report card" (like Local Bark does) so we can see what our babies did all day and how they did. This and/or (but preferably "and") pictures of our pups would really help to instill confidence that our pups are having a great time while they're gone. Our dogs had a horrible experience at day care in the past and so we're cautious and would love some reassurance :)

Both of my German Shepherd Dogs come home happy and healthy after a stay at Animal Den Pet Resort. They are also very tired. The staff are friendly and professional and the place is very clean. No doggy odors from being boarded which is really important: It talks to how clean the kennels are. I have a senior GSD who requires some gentle care and a youngster who loves the pool time. They are boarded separate so the senior can get some rest. I've been using this facility for a couple of years now and we're very happy with them. They have good hours and can accommodate special needs. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants top care for the dogs.

My dog, Barney, had a *fabulous* time at the swimming pool yesterday. He was giddy going in and out of the water to chase the balls we brought from home. Can't wait to go back :) Great place, great staff, great experience all around.

I love my monthly membership to their “Local Bark Park” private access to the dog swimming pool & daycare yard! My Labrador retriever (Bartholomew) swims while I enjoy a beverage at the Bark Park bar complete with cooling water misters, patio covers & seating for us dog owners. Bark Park hours start Friday at 5pm and run all day Saturday & Sunday. I call it my personal “speakeasy.” Bart & I love it!

The staff is amazing! The facilty is super clean and had a/c. I immediately felt comfortable leaving my dogs with them. We will be back!

Bathed my giant breed dog and were friendly and professional on the job. Even left with a cute puppy bandana! ????

We love animal Den and their attention to our dog health as well. Our dog is always love to run toward this place.
