I wavered between giving three stars or two. I'll give three to give them the benefit of the doubt, but my trust in this vet has been shaken and I feel like for now I want to see if I can find a better vet. If Dry Creek would contact me to clear things up if I've misinterpreted things, that would greatly help, but it looks like they don't read and respond to their reviews like many vets do. I thought at first I'd found a good, affordable, close vet. I was happy when I used them last year to get an abdominal x-ray for my cat Thomas when he'd been vomiting. The price was much lower than the quote from another vet, and I appreciated Dry Creek did not insist on unnecessary, expensive (and potentially risky) sedation for the x-ray that the other vet wanted to require. My Thomas cooperated fine without the sedation. I also appreciated the doctor coming out to talk to me face to face, which is more than some vets have been doing during COVID. My negative experience with Dry Creek was related to the dental for one of my cats. My cat Thor's dental at Dry Creek seemed to go well. Before my other cat Thomas's dental, the doctor told me that one of his front canines was one of the teeth that would definitely need to be extracted. I mentioned (just conversationally, not as a protest) that made me a little sad since I loved his long canines. He said it couldn't be helped and that the tooth had an abscess behind it. Of course, I approved that and all the other recommended extractions. A day or two after the dental, I noticed Thomas still had all his canines, so I called to ask why/what had changed. It sounded to me like I got the doctor on the phone (sounded very much like his voice and his accent). I said "I have a question for the doctor" and he told me to go ahead. He then asked me to wait on hold and was gone for a few minutes; I assumed he was pulling Thomas's file. He came back and said he would have the doctor get back to me. That was odd because I could've sworn I was speaking to the doctor. I wondered why he would pretend not to be the doctor, but I simply said okay and we got off the phone. I didn't get a call back that day, so I called the next day and asked the question again, this time to a female employee. Was told the doctor would call me back that day; he didn't. I called back once daily for a couple of days. Then on approximately my third day of calling, instead of repeating the question, I just said I had a question for the doctor and would appreciate if he or anyone from the office could get back to me. The girl then put me on the phone with the doctor (after waiting on hold several minutes - which I didn't mind). As soon as the doctor got on the phone, before I asked my question, he already knew what I was calling about. He said, "So this is what happened. During the dental, I determined the canine did not need to be removed after all. The other doctor here confirmed it." (The other doctor there is his wife, so he was basically telling me his wife would back him up.) As for why my communication had not been returned over the past few days, he said they had been too busy to keep up with call backs. I know vets have indeed been busy, but they really can't have anyone in the office call me with a quick answer? For a few whole days? Since (1) they didn't mention after the dental that the canine was decided to be okay and was purposefully left in (2) the doctor seemed to pretend he was not the doctor to get off the phone with me the first time I tried to call about it and (3) my calls were not returned for a few days, I couldn't help wondering if a mistake was made and the tooth was overlooked by accident during the dental, and then the doctor was trying to avoid talking to me. I don't know if this is true, but it seemed like a very real possibility. Either way, this was not handled well, and I feel like I need to get a second opinion on the tooth. Too bad because I thought I really liked this vet. I never had reason to distrust a vet before. Now I'm nervous to try others.

These guys are just amazing!!! From first phone call to most recent visit it has been nothing but a great experience. they are organized, caring, and just good people there. I've been to a few other vet offices and these guys, HANDS DOWN, put all the others to shame. They actually work for you, not against you. They educate you without trying to convince you you have to buy everything directly from them, they are honest about how severe a diagnosis is and what the most effective prognosis is, not the most expensive prognosis. I am so happy to have found such a place!!! They take such good care of my fur family!!!

Poor admins We sent dry creek veterinary my dogs medical record three separate times. We used the the email address they specified, each time we got no response and her record was never added. They are a cost effective option but you'll need to have the patience to make multiple calls and send multiple emails to get things on your pets record. On a separate occasion we scheduled an appointment, showed up only to be turned away and asked to come back in a few hours. What is the point of an appointment if it cannot be honored.

I have been with Banfield for 6 years and I have insurance through them and whenever I have had an emergency with my pup, they never had appointments available. I had a major emergency recently with my frenchie and I called 6 Banfield locations and no-one had appointments available. My partner has been taking his frenchie to Doctor Lehil for the past 2 years and he suggested that I call him and I did. Doctor Lehil and his team saw us within the hour of my call and they took great care of my furbaby. Doctor Lehil couldn't figure out what was going on so he kept her and the office kept me up to date with what was happening. Overall if you are trying to decide on your next vet, look no further, Doctor Lehil and Dry Creek Veterinary Center is the place for you. He was sympathetic, knowledgable, and I felt like he truly cared even for a new patient. On top of it, he was extremely busy and he still made time for us. I can't thank Doctor Lehil and his entire team enough for taking great care of not only me but my pup!

This is the most absolutely wonderful that I have ever taking my animals to. My dogs love him. My tiny little girl Chihuahua doesn't like any strangers whatsoever but the first time she met this Veterinary she jumped right into his arms and she absolutely loves them. The prices are great and this is not just somewhere where they will fix your animal up they will also show your animal the most kind and Compassionate Care possible. We were even very flexible and great with working with me on the price of things. I will never take my animals anywhere else.

On 6/8/21 I took my dog in for a molar extraction. When I picked Gidget up at 3:30pm she was delivered to me via a vet tech with blood all over her beard. Not delivered by Dr. Lehil. No after visit summary from him - which was odd as he has usually accompanied my dogs upon discharge. Later that evening around 9:30pm I noticed her bleeding more than what I thought was normal. I called Dry Creek and spoke to a Jadesia (sp?). I told her she was bleeding and if I should take her to emergency. She said that bleeding is normal, she'd be fine until the morning and if she was still bleeding to bring her in at 9am, but to call ahead first. I asked if I should be worried that she'll bleed out and she said no. Well as the night progressed she was bleeding more. She was drinking lots of water, but by 6am she was shivering and I started to freak out. I ended up taking her to Loomis Basin ER and they were awesome. They called Dry Creek for the lab results they took of her before surgery so Dry Creek KNEW I had to go to the ER. I NEVER once received a phone call to follow up on how Gidget was doing from Dry Creek, but I did from LBVC. When I picked up Gidget at 4:30pm on 6/9 from LBVC they had cleaned all the blood off of her, shaved her beard, cleaned the blood off of her front legs and discharged her with a cone (unlike Dry Creek). She was feeling better by the next morning. Cost of a tooth extraction $600, cost of ER visit $570. I will NEVER take my dogs back to Dry Creek and would strongly discourage anyone who cares for their fur babies to seek a different vet.

This WAS my dogs Veterinary. I've been taking him since he was 5 weeks old, today I called in hoping to get him seen ASAP. My dog was having difficulty breathing last night and we were afraid he might have something stuck in his throat. I called this vet and was quickly turned away without any regards or concern. Jalissa did not care what the emergency was she said wait until Monday we are full. Keep on mind I called right at 9 AM when they opened. HOW CAN A FACILITY THAT WE TRUST TO CARE FOR OUR ANIMALS SIMPLY TURN THEM AWAY IN AN EMERGENCY. If you are looking for a longtime family Vet for your animal look elsewhere this place is just in it for the money NOT for the love of our pets.

We had to bring our cat due to emergency twice to this office. One time in 2019 and second time just recently in 2021. Both times the admin staff was polite. The doctor is very knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining things. I highly recommend this office.

Consistently on point service for both my cats. What I like about the staff and the way this business is run is that they always answer the phone and are accessible to answer questions and concerns. They also make recommdations about care and treatments for my cats without being pushy.

I have recommended Dr. Lehil and his practice to many neighbors and friends. We have had nothing but great experiences with him and his staff. They do not push for unnecessary tests or procedures, are honest, and have always shown compassion towards their furry clients. Dr. Lehil makes sure to stay up to date on current research and is always willing to listed to the pet parents and answer questions. Additionally, the prices are reasonable and I really feel as if they are in it for the love of the animals and not for the filling of their pocketbook. It is awful when you have to 2nd guess whether or not to take your pet in to the vet due to cost, yet I have never felt this way here.

Dr. Lehil is a nice man and has a kind heart. Our service had been fine but recently I wanted to change flea medications through Chewy that required a prescription. When Chewy called the vet for approval they declined it and said the cats needed a wellness visit. Both cats had appointments two months prior for shots and one had a general appointment a month prior. I was turned off on a clear move to make us pay for a visit for flea medication. I was told one cat was eligible for the prescription but yet the request was denied for both of them. I plan to find another vet after this incident. Sadly we liked Dr. Lehil but his assistant’s customer service was poor.

This new Veternary, 2 1/2 years old is extremely well organized and well staffed. The vet is extremely responsive and went to great lengths to explain his service. During this Covid situation, the staff are extremely well organized and know their jobs and do them very well. I don’t often recommend veterinarians, but the service I got was very efficient and terrific with my two dogs. I’ll be going back. I think you’ll be very happy with their service!

They are great! Brought my dog in, she was treated well and happy! The next day I thought my dog had some weird discoloration I noticed and the vet double checked just in case as a courtesy. It was so nice. We will be back!
