The staff here are very friendly and upfront about prices the Vet spent about 20 min on the phone with me regarding my boy and nothing was rushed. I trust these people with my baby!

A superb and friendly staff who go above and beyond for their patients and patient families. My family started coming here. Seeing the amazing care and customer service first hand, I never hesitated to both refer friends here as well as establish my new puppy here. The first thing I did when we got him was to pick up the phone and make an appointment to get shots and establish care! Never a single regret. They've been constantly great and always go the extra mile for you and your animals. No reason to go anywhere else. Eight years later, and their commitment to my love puppy's health remains unmatched.

A bit high priced but amazing people. I really wish they would allow people to accompany pets. I imagine covid started this, but it continues. It's very upsetting. I'd go back because care was good, but am looking for somewhere they don't take your pet from you in the parking lot.

I have a dog who is pretty fearful/averse to handling. They were so accommodating, took things really slowly, and were totally down with reducing the amount of invasiveness and consolidating procedures to minimize my dog's stress. My girl did great and it was well worth the drive (we live in rancho Cordova). Thank you guys!!!

Amazing communication and care starting from the receptionists, techs and doctors. Dr. Nickens and Dr. Schwab have gone above and beyond with my special requests following my dog's heart surgery in Japan. It has been a delicate process while my dog is still in recovery. DBVC has been in contact with the Japanese doctor to make sure everything they do is in the best interest of my baby. Whenever I have a concern and call or email, I get a response within 2-3 hours! It makes world of a difference and a huge stress off our shoulders knowing I have a reliable vet right by my house. I know how busy vets currently are so I'm mindblown at how thorough and prompt they are!! Thank you DBVC ❤

Huge thank you to Douglas Boulevard Vet Clinic’s Doctors and staff! They are absolutely amazing. Visiting the vet can be pretty stressful and scary but they truly show love and care for our animals. We had a minor emergency with our pup recently and DBVC was the first out of all other vets in the area to squeeze us in last minute. They made sure we were well informed, answered all our questions and checked in while our pup was healing just to make sure he was okay. I couldn’t be happier with our experience. Thank you DBVC!!!

We brought our poodle mix here 2x's and found both times to be more expensive than other vets in area. We got great care though!

We were referred here through a friend and we are real impressed. The staff, especially the doctors themselves, genuinely care about your pets and you as the owner. We brought our doodle mix in as a pup and they treated him great through his whole puppy vaccine sequence. They have a full puppy package to make it easy for new owners. Our pup is 9 months old now, and we brought him in most recently because of a stomach bug. Called the day symptoms showed up, and despite a full schedule, a doctor called within 30 mins of my initial call to ask questions and provide guidance. They got us in first thing the next day and got him straightened out. Two days later, the doctor called just to check in and see how he was doing. Super unexpected but we loved the personal touch and follow through. We won’t be going anywhere else for our pet needs!

What a fantastic vet clinic. I brought in both of my 9 yr old German Shepherds and the were thorough and very gentle with my old girls. They are my new local vet! Very happy!

Our vet retired and I dreaded taking my furry baby (Sunny) to another vet. When my dog is anxious then I am anxious! Sunny had an appointment yesterday and my husband and I were so happy with our experience. Even with covid, the positive attitude, prompt service, organized team work, pet loving, knowledgeable and reasonable prices were just excellent. Dr. Kelsey came outside to meet us, which was so nice, caring and professional. After 5 years of going to Douglas Blvd Veterinary, l will rate the staff and Doctors on a scale of 1-10, with a 10. Just facts, my cat is pretty much at ease in the office, even though he has had all his teeth pulled in that office. (A horrible gum disease). This clinic is what I choose to call, my home town vet. Family you know.

Our first visit was very easy! The tech was so responsive to both our little dogs and was very knowledgeable of their medical history even in our first visit. Our new Vet took her time on the phone with us -due to COVId precautions and made us feel like we were there in the room with her. I am so very happy we were referred to this Vet clinic! We are positive our dogs will be cared for like they should be! Oh yes and we have an app for this clinic and it keeps me up to date on all of my dogs hx and upcoming needs! Just amazing! Thank you! First, they were very aware virus and took extended measures to ensure that there was a minimum of contact between people in and out of the facility. They came and took the animals from the individual cars into the vet, and the vet then called with a consultation. That's herself was both knowledgeable and compassionate. I took my puppy in for her first visit and the vet took the time to explain what was done what was going on and what I needed to do. Overall, they deserve the five star rating.

Douglas Blvd has been the vet for my family pets since 1994. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate my rescued dog I can best describe as having "high needs".

You will never find better veterinarians! They are all amazing. Dr Foster is who I see for my dogs. He was there when my sweet miniature pincher had to be put down. He could not have been more kind, caring and sensitive.. he always takes time during appointments to examine my pups and to answer any questions I might have. I never feel that he is rushing to get to his next appointment. The staff is also amazing! The ladies at the front desk are professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Your pets will always get the best care at Douglas Boulevard Veterinary Clinic.

I’m quite sure my Persian kitten was given two shots- including rabies- in the same front leg. From what I understand these are typically given in the back leg/flank area. He is very very sore and uncomfortable. I understand he may have been agitated, but that’s not an excuse to give an injectable in a location that will cause discomfort to this extent. Won’t return.
