I trust this vet with my best friend of 15 years. They always take amazing care of her. Dr. Leigh goes above and beyond when it comes to your cats. She will take her time when speaking with you, and it never feels rushed. You can tell she truly cares about your cat. It's a wonderful feeling to have someone so amazing taking care of your furry friend.

My cat had been having some health issues that were not being solved by his primary vet (not for lack of trying on their part) so I decided to bring him here. Dr. Greg is awesome and has been working with me to diagnose and fix my cats issues. We still have not gotten them solved but things are progressing in the right direction and I am thrilled with the attentiveness of the staff and the Drs. If you have a cat this place is amazing.

It's fair to say, things change over time, some improve, others fall down and ultimately fail. Sadly, after 14 years of trust, the current ownership has lost their way. When health is the issue, human, or pet, the standard of care must be followed with unfailing devotion and commitment, or avoidable tragedy will likely follow. We will consider legal remedies, but will not change the unnecessary anguish and loss we went through. Regrettably, this is not the Vet to intrust your cats health and life to.

Expensive and uses vets who rotate so you can't be sure who your pet will see. Still, if it's an emergency it may be worth it ????...

Not huge but plenty helpful, honest, and very professional. They’re busy because there are many cats , but Cleo is very friendly once she sniffs you and the kitten is very curious. The people are awesome, too!

They're always so gentle with out kitties, very knowledgeable, and when our cats had dental surgery, they were very diligent about calling us and keeping us informed of their progress.

I had a very sick kitten named Norma and after working with another vet who saw a variety of animals, I wanted a vet who specialized in cats. I called the office and explained that I had already run lots of tests and I (and the prior vet) knew for sure that my cat needed a biopsy. I asked if we could do the exam and the biopsy on the same day because I did not want to waste time. The front desk staff asked the vet and agreed to schedule the exam and biopsy on the same day so I happily made an appointment. That day, I also sent over records from the prior vet. The day before of the biopsy, I called the vet to confirm our appointment and I was told that Norma was only scheduled for the exam. I had to remind them of our prior conversation that, somehow, nobody remembered having with me. They have a "special" exception and agreed to do the exam and biopsy the following day. They also said they did not receive the records I sent. I found the email that I sent to them and forwarded it over. After the exam, Dr. Leigh said the cat needed multiple medications, one of which they had to order but said would be in the office within a few days after ordering. More then one week went by before the medication was even ordered and we had to call multiple times to remind them to order the meds. Also, I reached out to Dr. Leigh via email and by calling and it took her days and multiple follow ups to return my calls. A few weeks later, Norma started experiencing more problems. We took her in and she was sent home. Shortly thereafter, Norma started acting funny. I knew something was wrong. I scheduled a same day appointment and before I had the chance to take her in, Norma died. I called Dr. Leigh multiple times and left her multiple messages with staff, stating Norma passed away and I just wanted to speak to her for a few ,minutes. Dr. Leigh never returned my calls. I want to first state that I, in no way, blame Dr. Leigh for the death of my cat. Like I said, she was very sick. However, one of two things must be going on with that office. Either Dr. Leigh is too busy to give proper attention to the animals and their owners. That would explain her failure to return calls, order medications, and follow up with what she said she would do. The other possibility is that Dr. Leigh's staff is incompetent and is not giving her messages and emails from patients. Either way, this is not professional or what one would likely want from a vet. I specifically looked for a cat specialist because I thought they would care about my cat. I will end this review with this: I have taken my cats in the past to VCA. This is a corporation with multiple sites around the country. Whenever I lost a pet, I always received a sympathy card from VCA, a CORPORATION. This corporation cared enough about me (or at least pretended to) to send me a card and acknowledge the loss of my pets. Dr. Leigh's staff knew Norma died. They either failed to give her the multiple messages I left or they did and Dr. Leigh did not even have the decency or show enough kindness to pick up the phone and return my call. She never send a card. All we got from her and her staff was silence. And a dead cat.

Dr. Leigh (sp?) is wonderful with both of my feline children. It's nice that there are only cats there and no dogs so they are less fearful in the waiting room. No barks.

Very friendly, professional, welcoming, and respectful. Greeted kindly, lobby had great environment for cats and a little kitten who greets you as well. Their blind “shop cat” is rad little guy. Didn’t wait long at all and doctor was very informative. It was apparent they actually cared about what they are doing. Scheduling surgery for our cat “mousey”

All the staff were extremely helpful. They worked my sick kitty in. Went over the treatment plan. Gave me options. Great communication from both doctors who called to follow up with my baby. Very affordable. But most of all Best cat care ever and my boy is so much better now. Can't thank them enough

We have been coming to them for years! They handled the passing of our old baby with the upmost love and respect! When we got new cats we tried another place closer to us but they could never compare to Riverside Cat Hospital! So we are ok making the drive to get the most professional and loving care for our fur babies. You can tell the doctors and staff are crazy cat people just like us and we would never have it any other way! They really understand cats unlike a lot of other vets that seem like they only see cats because they have to. They stay up to date on the latest cat research and genuinely want what is best for your cat. I will always bring our babies here! Thank you Riverside Cat Hospital for being so amazing!

TL:DR Super experienced doctor with very caring staff, extremely helpful and fairly inexpensive. They aren't going to rip you off with unnecessary tests. Office visit: $44 After our first visit it was extremely easy to see how much the doctor and the assistants truly cared about giving our kitty the best care possible without doing any unnecessary tests or treatment. The doctor even did her version of a quick test for our cats infection by doing a microscope examination and didn't charge us anything. The prognosis and explanation was extremely thorough, and its clear the doctor is extremely experienced in diagnosing and treating cats in southern California. This will be our home vet from now on :)

We've been taking Kinky & Freckles there ever since we got them over 10 years ago. We don't go in often, but when we do we get thorough treatment with the shots and inoculations. They're a great team and I know that they'll let me know what's going on with my cats. Thank you Riverside Cat Hospital.
