compassionate attentive staff worth the wait! Which wasn't bad, no appointments needed.

Best vet super professional ????

I went in last week Wednesday for a ear cropping appointment for my Doberman. I had got many referrals to this place and seen lots of pictures of excellent ear cropping styles that I thought looked really good. I had to wait a couple weeks for my appointment which I didn’t mind. That tells me the doctor must be good and lots of people must come to him. So the person who scheduled me failed to tell me that they only take cash which I had none of and drove a few hours just to get to this place. They open at 8am but you have to be there by 7am they said. It’s like a first come first serve basis thing. People bring out foldable chairs to reserve their space in line and just wait in the car until they open at 8. I tried to reschedule a appointment this morning on the phone and the phone woman I spoke to was extremely rude. I never met the doctor so I have nothing bad to say about him but the woman is making his business look poorly with how she talks to people. She first said they had appointments the first week of February and that my puppy would be too old to get her ears cropped by than. So I hung up and looked on the calendar and she’ll actually be 14 weeks that week. I call back and told her this and than she decides to change her mind and say no actually not till the 2nd week we will have appointments so your puppy will be too old by than. I asked her if the doctor could make an exception since it’ll only be a few days and she just kept saying no. I asked if I could talk to him and she told me he won’t come to the phone over a discussion like this. I’m sure the doctor is great and wonderful but this woman has no manners and was absolutely rude to me. I’m sure business does not need somebody representing you like this.

My respects for Michael he is a great Vet. Sincere and has great customer service.

Wating Line short, prices are fair, so far is the only place that we had taken our 2 cats .

GREAT PRICES!! LOVE THE CARE THEY GAVE MY TO MY LUNA!! THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL THEY DO TAKE A LITTLE BIT LONGER THAN OTHER VETS BUT ITS BECAUSE ITS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIC. THEY DO HAVE THE BEST AFFORDABLE PRICES. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Wonderful staff ! We spent almost 8 hours there and the staff remained kind and patient with everyone during our visit.

They where very pleasant, helpful. They are going to retape our Dogs ears.

There was a wait time, plan ahead and take some food, chairs, charged phone and earbuds. Besides that you get caring attention from the doctors and techs, and affordable treatment for your pets. Will definitely come back prepared next time I need help with my pups! Thanks for all you do team at Dr. Butchko’s office!

Dr. Means was great once we got in to see her, but waited 5hrs to be seen. Way too long of a wait time and hard on dog who doesn't feel good. They need more vets and to maybe consider scheduling some appointments? Lots of staff,, but very disorganized. Seemed like the priority was on dogs that were coming to be spayed and neutered.

Wait wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be but even if it was its worth it

The waits are killer but the staff is great and treatments, so far, affordable.

Called and checked the website is stated you have to come 60 min before closing. came 70 min before closing and was told I should have came earlier .Would not see my sick dog. I have a 1hour drive to the place. That’s how we treat customers?

He did an amazing job on both my dogs ears I have a pitbull and Doberman!

This vet is good if you are a breeder or good for ear croping but if you need treatment for serious issues go to dirk butchko the office took care of what this office couldn't. This place went down hill after the father died I have a full bred bulldog that was serious sick completely different dog now.

I highly recommend this place. Although you wait a while it is very worth it. They provide reliable and trustworthy service. Staff is very kind and genuine. I brought my stray kitten after coming from another vet who tried to do unnecessary blood work and overcharge for her to get the help she needed. I brought her here right after and the doctor knew exactly what was wrong with her. I was informed she had a very common viral infraction found among stray and pound cats. Was provided with medicine and 2 days later and she is 1000 times better. No unnecessary procedures that cost a fortune.

Went to Dr. Butchko for the first time and had my dobbies ears cropped, I gotta say I was totally blown away by the way the staff and Dr. Butchko treated us. He listened and understood what I wanted for my pup gave some pointers and examples and I ended up changing my decision based on his experience but the way this man explained everything to me was awesome... I left my pup there with the confidence that he was going to be well taken care of and in Excellent hands... When I picked up my pup absolutely nothing had changed staff was still awesome and courteous meds were handed to me and instructions were well explained that I had to recommend my friends to him even if we have to drive from Lancaster Ca.. Dr. Butchko is very affordable and my pup looks great with his perfectly cropped ears.. please be aware that this practice is super busy so wait times do vary but please keep that in mind.. I arrived about an hour early for my pups surgery and there was already about 10 people waiting in line before they even opened.. so bring a chair and hang out people waiting we're friendly and conversations were easy to start so please be patient!! P.s we scheduled 3 more surgeries already place is awesome!

Very very bad service I never bring my dog back , I was there waiting for 3 1/2 hours this is ridiculous!!!

We had the owner (father) do our 3 Great Danes ear crops 3-4 yrs. ago, came out beautiful. We were nervous on our 4th Great Dane crop done last week due to the fathers passing and had never dealt with his son. So far they look good, no complaints at this time, though we have months of visits still to complete the ear forming.

It take awhile to get in ant out but I think they can be trusted with your pet's

Great place....but I think they need to work off appointments and have a process for walk-in steam-line the process..by doing so more people would appreciate the efficiency

I've been coming here for 27 years and my dog had issue with a soar bleeding. I was brushed off and told to put Sav on it. Well thank God I took him somewhere else, cause it was a tumor that needed to be removed. It's getting tested for cancer now. I am done with this vet. 7 hour wait and then to get brushed off. The father died and it went downhill from there.

Fantastic experience, wonderful facility. Great, knowledgeable staff.

I have to say the waiting was long but! Thanks to the Doctors that checked on my German shepherd and tried thwir best to get her better in 24hrs. We had moved from San diego County and the change of weather got our dog sick. She only had 1% chance to survive the dr was upfront with us. They offer 3 options but told us giving her meds and making her comfortable was pur best and maybe she will be better instead of paying over $2000 for a hospital stay . We went with medications and doing everything they recommended. In 48hrs our Germany Shepherd was better 72hrs later she was running and playing. I definitely take my dogs here even of the wait is long. I had paid a lot in the past at Petco for vaccines and check up we are taking $500 and up each visit.

Way too busy for best care.

I have been going to this vet for years. Loved the father and son is exellent also. He is worth the wait.

If you don't have in their specialty of bulldogs or frenchies....expect to wait 6-7 hours even if you get there when they open. I just needed a senior check up for my cat who was having elderly issues and couldn't seem to get in while several other animals were given a room to see the vet long before me.

Awsome staff and doctors, but be ready to wait if your not there by 0530.
