The best. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. Have been coming here for 30 years.

Buyer beware! I set an appointment for a rabies shot. They require an annual check-up. The said they were going to do shots but it did not register they were doing more shots at additional cost. They should have said,"we are going to do more than you requested at $xx cost." And, then ask and confirm i approve of the additional expense And adjuat the quote for care. Instead of 61.50, the quoted price, it was $129. When i raised the concern i was repeatedly told, "at the end if the day you gave approval." Yes, i did. Yes, i paid. But, it is a sketchy and unprofessional practice and unethical practice to give partial information when ADDING SERVICES AND COSTS WITHOUT A FULL EXPLANATION. Unprofessional veterinarian and staff.

reading the reviews I know its not just me. The receptionist there are so rude and unprofessional. When I asked her why she was rude she replied "this my voice, this is me, this is how I am". It's unfortunate because the Veterinarian is extremely nice and my fur babies loved her. I know of people that have changed vets due to the receptionist there. Not good for business. I talk to ALOT of people in the area due to my line of work and I won't be recommending them there anymore.

Need better receptionists. Very rude and uninformative. Wish they cared more about the pets and help direct me to a different location but unfortunately over the phone they didn't care 1 bit.

Thanks to Dr.Schrader and her assistant Gabby, my dog has been operated successfully under their care. Considering the financial situation of mine，I am an international students, the doctor gave me lots of help. That’s means a lot to me. I'm really grateful. This is a good pet hospital. Thanks again!

Called twice this afternoon to get an appointment for both of my dogs, as well as reschedule. Both of the young ladies that I spoke to were very informative and helpful with the questions I had and put me at ease since I worry easily. The staff here is extremely professional. I love the doctor and staff at Canyon Crest Animal Hospital, I have been bringing my pets here for years and will continue to do so. I am more than willing to wait to schedule with them for their first appointment since they are nothing but caring and I trust them with my pets whole heartedly. I am so thankful that they work every day to keep our pets safe and healthy.

I needed a vet for my kitten because he'd irritated his eye and needed a checkup. The website made booking an appointment so easy, and the staff was so kind! I got a confirmation call, the check-in process moved smoothly, and he got great attention. I got lots of updates while he was there (had to do a drop off because of COVID restrictions), and they even called the next day to see how he was doing! I look forward to working with these folks for pet care in the future.

Just okay, service very slow! Spent almost hole lunch period waiting for 1 item!! Won't be going back there!!

Been coming here for years. Dr. Schrader is very informative and takes the time to answer all my questions. Staff is always friendly.

I’ve taken my precious pup here for all of her routine and sick appointments for all 4 years of her life. I’ve been very satisfied with her care. The doctor seems to be very genuinely compassionate and caring. I’d recommend you take your pup here too.

Getting tired of the rude receptionist might start looking for a better Animal Hospital

Customer service has been poor lately, and I've been a client for more than 20 years. It's a shame because they used to be terrific.

I wish there would be negative stars Because that’s exactly what I would put. This is to everyone do not go here this place is terrible. My dog was 100 percent healthy and was only 10 years old. Yesterday afternoon our dog went into get his rabies shot 12 hours later he was found dead. This place overdosed him and now we don’t have him anymore. Should’ve never happened.

Friendly staff and doctors. Cheery and patient. They care for creatures well here!

Dr. Schrader was awesome. Very courteous, spent time with a thorough examination, and then spent plenty of time with us for advice and recommendations. She answered all of our questions and met our needs. Our dog loved the staff, they were very polite, efficient, and helpful. The prices are definitely fair and you don't have to worry about excessive fees.

I’ve gone in once just to ask general questions, and have made two phone calls attempting to make an appointment. My puppy hasn’t even been seen there and won’t be because the women answering the phone and in person are very rude always making suggestions to go elsewhere because of their wait.The last time I spoke to them (2nd) phone call I said it’s fine I won’t go their because they always suggest other places she said ok and hung up !!!! How old is this women ? Discrimination is all I hear .

My family has been taking our pets (about 2 dozen feral and non-feral cats and one dog) to this location for nearly 20 years, obviously we are quite happy with them especially since it is a 30 minute drive to get there and you have to WANT to go when there are so many other choices that are closer. We have have honest conversations with all the on-duty vets over years that run the gamut from the pros and cons of dental work, to the real hard choices facing us when it's time to make THE choice. We've never felt judged for making a non obvious choice, and always felt we were getting all the information we needed to make the right decision for us and our pets. The office is compact, you walk in directly to the waiting area, with a check-in desk right there. The 3 exam rooms are adjacent to the waiting area, so no long walks in a maze of doors... it's all right there. The exam rooms have always been clean and organized. They do perform simple surgeries on site and euthanasias too. Tips- The waiting area is compact with about 10 individual chairs for all people waiting, so at busy times you may be close to another patron with their pet, so bring a cage or other method of keeping your pet close and out of bite or scratch range of other less pets. If you have a favorite vet you want your pet to be seen by, you can call when you make the appointment and ask to be seen by that vet, be prepared to be flexible with your appointment date and time and make the appointment as early as possible. Parking is right out front, there is usually an open spot close to the office, if not there are plenty of other spaces just a few feet further away. There is a donut shop next door for the longer waits.

The front desk people there are the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. They have bad attitudes, never smile and talk about you while you are standing or sitting down practically in front of them. My taking my pets there pay their salary but they are just a nasty bunch of people

You can tell they really love the animals and are much more reasonably priced than other vets in the area. Love they are open some saturdays too!
