I love this animal doctor. He does the best hands on assessment I have ever witnessed. He tells me the truth, the facts and gets me what my fur friends need. He is very thorough and explains any details that I missed or I ask out. He is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. If I cannot understand his accent or what he is talking about all I do is let him know to slow down his speech tempo and I understand every word. He will get out information on paper to help me learn. He really knows what he is talking about regarding my dogs. Animals are his passion. He cares. He is growing on me as a respected doctor who does not mind having a new social friend and I appreciate that. It's nice to know that those kind of people are out there! He gave Elvis his first 6 to 8 week old vaccines.

I've gone to Dr Kim for many years. He's a good veterinarian.

Having a furry child is expensive ???? but Dr. Kim does try to work with you and give you options when it may not seem affordable. He's a funny little Asian man. You will have to help often, obviously for his safety. I did notice how he changes from dealing with little dogs to let's say a pretty grey pitbull who would do less than a vicious little chihuahua. But, I guess he has more experience with dogs. All in all, had a good experience thus far!

They have a clinic every Saturday and it makes it very affordable to get your dog's rabies shots and any other treatment that you are looking for your animal.office is nice and clean

Dr Kim is great and very affordable. First time here and will be back. Please don't confuse him with Arlington animal hospital. This place is off Adams in the starter brothers parking lot. I feel alot of the reviews on here are confusing him with Arlington animal hospital which he is not affiliated with. Infact he recommends the emergency hospital in grand terrace 30 min away over them.

Dr. KIM is a good Vet. He's been the Vet for 3 of my dogs. I have a 4mo. old puppy now whom he started her on her shots and will give her booster shots in 3weeks.

I've used this vet for years. He's good in a pinch, kinda expensive.

Vet is great! DVM Kim is very much into teaching us about our pets. He really likes animals a whole bunch. He is good about working with us when we need it. He gets us to do the things we over look.

This facility lacks basic resources. Called with a medical emergency- told the receptionist my pet had a possible obstruction, she booked the appointment. Upon arrival we learn the x-ray machine is BROKEN. Jeopardizing pets in this way is severely negligent. Prospective clients- if you care for your pets, I’d highly recommend finding ANY other facility with functional equipment. To the director of the facility- please INVEST in proper intake protocols with your staff and update your equipment before agreeing to see any more patients.

Best experience. Straight forward about your options and not afraid to handle your pet so that they dont get scared.

I took my senior cat (16yrs old) to this place for his checkup and allergy meds (new to Riverside). He asked how do I know he has allergies. Well because I've had him since he was 6wks old and they act up every spring and fall. "Ok well I can't give him his shots until you have blood work done" $500 - $800 for everything he wants to look for. Then tells me to take him back to San Diego so his doctor can look at him.. then he told me to shave him so he would not get hairballs.. WOW I should have read these reviews before hand, I would have never taken my cat here.. and this has been going on for years.. it's time for this vet to retire. And on one of the reviews the receptionist responded back stating they don't do emergency visit.. then why is it on your site saying you do??? The person said she brought her fur baby to you at 3pm so yes you were still open because last time I checked 3pm comes before 6pm. Don't get me started on my fiance's daughters fur baby that the vet looked at..

Dr. Kim is a crazed lunatic with severe attention deficit disorder. They charge premium prices for a lousy experience and when you're done it's don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out. Go anywhere but here, I have had more than one experience like this at Arlington-Adams Animal Hospital.

While the girl at the front desk is helpful, this vet is horrible! I had to pre-schedule an appointment, took the day off as well as moved around my schedule to watch my puppy after she was spayed and he denied it. He couldn’t tell me why other than he wasn’t comfortable operating on a perfectly healthy puppy. Beyond upset.

They were very caring. It was very clean

I have been taking our pets to Dr. Kim for several years. He is very thorough, always gives you clear options and very reasonable. I don’t usually make referrals because someone will always find a reason to complain but I trust Dr Kim with our pets well being.

Dr Kim is great and so was the nurse. They addressed our problems and provided clear education. Couldn't ask for more in a medical visit.

I wonder how this veterinarian gets an average 4-star rating. I came to this veterinarian not by choice...1st occasion was about 1 year ago when my mama dog had a complication of birth in the middle of the night, and this is the only emergency vet that near me, so I brought my baby in at 3 a.m., they have me signed a bunch documents as if I was sign a "house purchasing agreement." They charged $3300 and asked me to put a $500 down payment for CPR...are you kidding me?! I've been charged $3300 for a C-section that regular vet would cost about $600-$800, and you ask for a $500 deposit for CPR?? Should this be included? They made a sound like if something happened, they would not save my baby if I refuse to put down a $500 deposit for CPR?!?! They made a sound so horrifying to try to scare you, and you'll pay as they ask for. All the procedures seem alright. It was how the receptionist talk makes me super uncomfortable, and she was very demanding not friendly at all. The 2nd occasion was a couple of months ago; I try to save this little Runt from the new litter. We arrived at 3:30 pm, and the receptionist (same one from last time ) asked for a $650 down payment for the Doctor to exam/see my newborn baby girl or they could not treat her without the payment. I wonder if this is a place to save an animal's life or use animals as their excuse to rob the pet parents?! I ask what is the $650 for? The answer is "to see the doctor because you have an emergency," but you'll get a refund if you don't use all of it. Seriously?! So how much do you charge for an exam?!?! $650?? You don't even know if this little pup is treatable or not, all you ask is for me to pay a $650 for you to do those useless blood works and x-rays until you eat all my $650? The truth is, this puppy probably doesn't have a chance to survive? They have me sign a bunch of documents like last time, and I refused to sign it this time. They told me: You won't get a refund if you don't sign the paper; yelled with an attitude. I ask, "are you the owner; you sound very demanding!" I have dogs all my life, and I can't remember how many Vets that I brought my babies to get the treatments from the doctors. I have never seen anything like this. I hope the city will close this place down. How can you be a vet if you don't even like or care for animals? All you care about is to rob people, especially when the pet owners are extremely worried about their pets; this is the time they hit you really good. They'll empty your bank account! And I believe I'm not the only one being treated this way. I hope more people come forward and let other pet owners know what kind of veterinarian they are dealing with.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I took my baby in and they did blood work and told me everything was fine, one week later he started getting worse so I decided to take him somewhere else for an emergency visit. The vet office had Dr. Kim office fax over the blood work and he failed to read the results accurately according to this new vet my baby was suffering the entire time and I had to put him down. I would never go back here, I have two other dogs and would much rather pay a few extra dollars then come back here.

Had to get my baby her rabi shot tine for licensing

I never have to use a vet service before because I never own any animal in the past however, I recently adopted 2 six weeks old bunnies. After 2 months I decided that it's time to get them to the vet for their first exam. I search the web for any location near me and who willing to provide care for rabbit. I found this clinic and their website advertising rabbit nueter/spay under their services icon. I called and asked the front office if they care for rabbit just to make sure before scheduling. The response was yes we do see rabbit and exam fee was established before I schedule for my bunnies. The Saturday morning of the appointment I got there at 8am and the minute I walked in the doctor came out and look at my bunnies and start refusing my service and said "no no rabbits, I no longer care for rabbits you go to Norco clinic they will help you." At this time I'm thinking it he for real? I asked him "if you no longer care for rabbit then why is your website still said so and why your front office still scheduling rabbit exam when I called. Also why don't you call me to cancel for the mistaked you made so I don't have to wake up super early on a Saturday?" All he said to me was "sorry sorry" and gesture his hand toward the exit. Wth.........if I could I would love to give him a zero star rating.

I took a cat in here to be euthanized. Everything went well and the experience was awesome! My neighbor is really mad at me now but he'll be okay. I had no idea it was his cat.

Dr Kim has always taken care of our fur babies.
