The Stone Dog Grooming Salon Reno, California

Started going here after a bad experience with our previous groomer. We couldn't be happier with this shop. They take good care of our senior giant schnauzer and make efforts to get the older dogs finished as soon as possible. She always looks good and she doesn't have to stay all day long. More than pleased.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!! My (& my dog's) first time in Stone Dog Salon, and we were treated wonderfully! Justin-(?) was super-professional, kind & VERY helpful, he went out of his way & showed us extreme courtesy & care! DEFINITELY A 5-STAR EXPERIENCE! Now I know why my friend rave about Stone Dog!!!!! We wont go anywhere else after this! :)

Cheryl is a kind and gentle groomer. My dog can be persnicky at times but he arrives home happy and handsome. The owner is great. Thanks.

First time we brought ours dogs in for grooming. They were happy to be there! They are now so sweet, clean and shiny! We travel full time but will definitely come back when we are in Reno.

Just had my two dogs get their summer shave. They look great! I appreciate that they used my own homemade soap I brought in for their bath. I would use this groomer again!

Picking up late in the evening is not suggested. I thought the cut looked good but after seeing it in the morning, I'll have to fix it myself. The last two trips have missed the mark.

Sara was great and loved her cut. Puppers was a happy camper. Will go back.

It was our first experience at Stone Dog. We have just moved from CA. Sara intuitively understood my needs and wants regarding my two standard poodles. Her love of the poodle helped! And her work was fast! I look forward to our next visit and her expert technique in keeping my poodles looking like the show dogs they are!! Thanx Sara!!!

First off i made my appointment for my pups 3 weeks in advance, i told sherry that i myself had an appt. She wanted me to come in @ 10:00 but said if "11:00 would get me closer to my own appt. Would that help" , i was thrilled & said yes thank you so much!!!....well the day of the appt. Arrived i got there 15min. early, not familiar w/that part of reno & had a hard time finding it even w/my gps., walked in & got berated for being late, i told her about the phone conversation, she kept talking over me, finally after i kept telling her my conversation sherry finally said " oh i probably said that". I did not feel welcome or comfortable in this shop @ALL, didnt even want to leave my pups but could not leave them in the car for 2 hrs. Picked them up & was not surprised by the fact that they looked like she rushed thru them, had hair poking out in spots, no nail trim, i truly could have done a better job @ home. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS GROOMER, hopefully the other groomers in there r better than sherry. from her people skills to her grooming i would give zero stars if i could.

Justin is wonderful. He’s very kind to my dogs and always does a fabulous job. I highly recommend him!

Sherry the owner has an uncanny ability to groom a dog. So that the dog looks its best. She is amazing. Its slso very conveniently located

Great experience! Came in to the shop about a week before bringing my dog in to ask if they could support her special needs. Nikki was very helpful and arranged to help me out. On the day of the appointment the grooming was completed perfectly, just as I requested and my dog was happier then when I dropped her off.

The staff was extremely friendly and took great care of my three beagles. They smelled great after their baths and I definitely plan on taking them back!

Certainly not a great schnauzer groomer. Owner appears drunk and irrational. Would not recommend.

Outstanding!!! I love my dog groomer, Justin. My wheaten terrier always looks so beautiful when she comes home. The shop is professional, clean and very loving. They always take care of my baby. I highly recommend this dog groomer.

This is a fabulous place! Busy certainly tells you something and the years of experience says for itself, this is where you want to take your little furry friends!... something else....its very artistically appointed inside, very cool to see...an UPSCALE DOGGIE SALON PERSONIFIED!!! ....LOL
