Charging almost $200 for a normal ball python with stuck shed. Had a cinnamon as well and were asking $300. I'm sorry, but you can get a healthy normal ball python from one of the local breeders for $30-$50.

I’m surprised I even have to say this. Was in the area and needed crickets, and decided to pop in. My crickets were handed to me in a stapled paper bag. I thought maybe they were put in a smaller plastic bag on the inside. I got home and had to tear it open and crickets fell out, so I put the entire bag in the geckos cage and left it in there in hope that my gecko will get them all. Can’t wait to spend the next few hours trying to catch crickets around the house. Would literally rather spend a couple dollars more to just get crickets at Petco, because at least they would just use a plastic bag. Really wanted to like this place. Don’t expect to be greeted by anyone other than the birds there. The lady behind the counter didn’t sound thrilled to have anyone in the store.

Great Owners very helper. I'm glad they are in business. Their pups really gave my gal a smile today. :) Was purely positive:) and an experience. Thank you Pettin place for sharing your animals with us also the talking parrot!

Same store same place, just a little smaller, but still the same care they have always had about their animals they sell.

Great little pet store nice stuff & staff. I've been visiting this wonderful little spot for about 40 years they used to have monkeys but looks like I've outlived the monkeys .....great pet store.

I liked the place. It's a small town pet store. She mostly has small pets ( birds, mice, and hamster).

Super friendly and great prices

Went there today for feeder rats. Employee said "That's ridiculous but whatever" and walked away when I wanted to weigh the feeder to make sure it was the right size. There was no other customers in the store so it's not like they were busy. Won't be coming back.

It's just very small and compact. It needs to be bigger

Biggest live feeder mice in town!!! Watch out, they'll bite ya if they escape out of the box. Had a show down in the O'Reilly parking lot on the way home. Snakes sure loved them! Definitely will be back for more feeders.... wearing gloves ???? lol ????

Small pet store but very friendly.

My gf and I just got a guinea pig from here and had a fantastic experience. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals. P.S. the piggy bonded extremely well with our current one so thank you guys so much!

The employee be mind the counter was totally lacking in empathy compassion or even kindness her demeanor made me feel super unwelcome. having macaws is expensive I have the money for them I definitely will not be spending it in this place. I gave 2 stars only because they reccomended a great place. the parrot connection much better place if your looking for parrot things and nice employees who are willing to give you advice without making you feel like dirt.

This place has been here for years! Still just as I remembered it!! And still has a decent variety of animals to choose from, along with the necessities for your animals

Very little of anything and much of that is over-priced. Best to overlook.

Have you ever seen a dirtier place ? Pets birds bunnies and dogs in filth made me gringe. If they dont clean ...definatly done sanitize.

Great place and nice owner! I got a 12 week old lovebird and I’m in love with its little face! I would recommend this place to get any bird,mice,rats and all of that! Great price too!

Cute small little pet shop. Greeted by the birds lol. Only pet store to have live feeder rats all different sizes. I have a ball python who is picky and would only eat live mice and he wouldnt switch to frozen rats. He was losing weight and still wouldnt budge. So I went here and got a small rat and the rats dont bite. Super friendly I almost wanted to keep it Haha. My snake had no issue with the rat either. The rats look clean as well. I strongly recommend this place for live feeder rats. Decent pricing too.

This is the OG pet store of Reno. When I went to Merry Berry Pre-school we took a class field trip and walked here to buy dumbo rats for the class. I am 28 now and still check it out when I am visiting Reno. They use to have monkeys in the front window! Love this place.
