I see Dr. Richard Furman at Klaich Animal Hospital. One of my dogs is having some health issues and we have been watching and following up for almost a year now. We do lab work and visits periodically. Dr. Furman is patient, thorough and always willing to answer all my questions. I really appreciate his approach.

They used to be amazing, we have since switched to Options because the girls at the front and the general process is horrible. My last experience there was letting go of NY 17 year old kitty and the tech made it a very bad experience I couldn't even return for her ashes my husband had to go for me. Wouldn't send anyone here anymore.

I found that Dr. Richard Furman, the new owner of the Klaich Animal Hospital, to be very thorough and professional in checking out our senior doggie and giving him his shots. Look forward to more check-outs and care with the new staff. Mary Holman

I have been using this vet for years. All of their staff is helpful and skilled. Even when working with some of the special cases I have had over the years. This Christmas, one of their staff members Christy gifted my animals a handmade bed! The personal touch to the visit was so kind and the animals love it so much. I highly recommend this vet. 100/10

Very nice staff, they were able to accommodate us with very short notice. Prices were a little high, I think, but not outrageous.

I trust Klaich implicitly. They've always taken care of my dogs - Buddy (Black Lab) lived 13 years under their care & Dixie (Cattle Dog) lived to 18.5! Now we are starting a new journey with Beau, a rescued street dog from Bahrain - I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

I love this veterinary practice. They consistently provide excellent care for your pet. Their staff are wonderful and often go out of their way to add that extra touch. They have shared the joys and sorrow of my pets lives in the most compassionate way. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I have been a client of Klaich for over 10 years. I cant get a follow up appointment for a dog who was seen there in October this year. If you leave a message on their extensive phone message NO ONE calls you back!!! I'm finding a new vet. All they want to do is urgent care coz they probably make more money with less staff. Not my kind of vet!!! Moving on..... used to love them. No longer do!

They said it was going to be $63 dollars and then they charged $223 in fees. Would not recommend.

Was charge $765 and sent home with two medications that did not work for my dog. Went back and forth for three weeks with the office manager Renee due to the additional $150 charge for a specialist to read the X-ray that already cost $200 for xray in the first place. When called I was never informed they would charge an additional $150 to have someone read it as they couldn't tell what the xray revealed. Spoke with the vet a second time who blatantly expressed she didn't mean to not disclose there would be a cost especially one this high - yet the office manager still would not refund me this cost. I feel this was very sneaky on their behalf and was only offered a $20 refund. As my husband picked up our dog and I requested the itemized receipt this was the only way I found out about this. Just shocked that they openly admit they didn't disclose this additional $150 and still wouldn't even refund half! And my dog has had absolutely no change in symptoms so a huge waste of 765. The service is definitely not what I have experienced in the past with them. Will not be going back to them since my dog is still sick and they told me it could be 3 possible diagnosis ... 765 dollars and they believe it could be 1 of 3 things. Absolutely disappointed.

I was told yesterday night that they did walk in at 7:30 so I was at the hospital at 7am. When I got to the hospital I was told I would have to drop off my puppy for an ear infection. I ended up dropping him off. When I picked him up I was charged over $400 and was given my puppies prescription I assumed the instructions and medication details would be in the bag and it wasn’t. I called and was told I would get a call or email back from the doctor and I haven’t received anything. How do they expect people to know what the medication is for. Worst vets ever.

Klaich was the vet for our blue nose male pit bull. He gave him steroids for over 5 years to treat allergies. Tired of paying and paying with no good results for years we found an awesome vet in Pinion. They love animals not only your money. They took our dog off of steroids and gave him a better life with other medicine. But now steroids are taking the life of my dog. Klaich has just the name, they don’t care, they want your money. They always guess what is wrong and their guessing is expensive. You want your pet to die young, and get in debt, take it to Klaich!

Came here for a 2nd opinion for torn acl surgery for our dog. Dr took xrays and told us there was just bruising of the joint. Our primary vet wanted us to spend 5k on unnecessary surgery. Since then I've taken our other pets to them. They are on the expensive side which is why I didn't give them 5 stars.

I was referred to Dr Furman for orthopedic care by my regular vet (who we love) after my cat broke his leg because he needed a hard cast. The entire time at Klaich, I felt like things were being drug out to get more money from me because we declined surgery vs the cast. After casting, we were told it would need to be on for 6-8 weeks and there would be checkups every 2 weeks in between. At every checkup, there was something extra done and it cost us between $250 and $600 each time, x-rays or other things sometimes being done without getting our consent first. Our final visit last week when the cast was taken off, Dr Furman needed to bandage the leg because of sores from the cast and still had to do final x-rays to be sure the break was fully healed. He never followed up with me after this, just sent us home with a bandage and antibiotics. When I went for pickup, the desk staff was short with me and had me wait while they gave him medication for the night. I waited there for 45 minutes while two other cats came and went. He had been with them for 6 hours at this point. They were having unprofessional conversation next to me at the front for at least 10 minutes before they realized they'd forgotten us and sent someone back to get my cat. We got in the car and I found one of his meds they'd supposedly been giving him stuck to his cone. My regular vet followed up for his records so she could do continuation of his care. They didn't do this timely or effectively and our regular vet had to take new x-rays to find out what was going on. She found that the break had not fully healed and we are now working with yet another wrap while he heals. It's been almost 2 months since the break. Overall, I was very frustrated and disappointed with my entire experience at Klaich. It was very expensive, not thorough, and the communication with us was definitely lacking.

Our dog had a sudden abscess appear on his chin (perhaps a spider bite but we're not sure). After our primary vet refused to help out in a timely manner (they only offered an appointment three weeks out), we had trouble getting into the emergency vet, and it was evident that the abscess was getting infected, we sought out Klaich's urgent care option. I called early in the morning and they already had a number of urgent care calls that day but put us on a waiting list in case they had an opening later in the day. Around 4:30pm, they called back saying they could fit us in about 20 minutes. After a bit of a wait, we were able to see the clinic owner Dr. Furman who recommended a reasonable plan for treatment (sedation to clean the wound followed by some medications, including an antibiotic). When our dog came out of sedation, he was a bit nervous and Dr. Furman instinctively petted him to calm him down, which told me that he truly cares about pets' well being and that this is more than a business for him. Our dog is clearly on the mend in the timeline that Dr. Furman mentioned. They pricing was on par with what we would expect for the treatment provided at a regular vet, without what we imagine would have been an emergency premium (they have a slightly higher charge for their urgent care option). We'll certainly return to Klaich in the future, whether as a primary or urgent care option.

I love Klaich. The staff is professional and courteous. They treat my fur babies very well. They are reasonably priced.

I called them yesterday because my usual vet Banfield wasn’t much of a help with concerns I have for my dog and needed some advice, when I called klaich they were very helpful and helped me save a trip to the ER with their urgent care service this morning, they were so polite and helpful with the services they provided me. Definitely would come here permanently for my pets with the service I experience today

Always had good (and caring) folks here at Klaich. Because of this, they are busy for non-emergency procedures.

Lack of availability even when they were advised of a life threatening condition. To busy for days.. Never called back even when they said they would. Improvement would be beneficial.
