Took my Pup in for an emergency. I was able to bring her right in and Dr. Dose was excellent in figuring out that it was neuro. She explained everything in great detail. She gave her meds and my pup is walking this morning. I am so grateful for Dr. Dose and will always take my pup to see her.... The best vet in town!

Looking for help for my cat. Usually at North Hills Vet, they're totally booked until eternity. Called this place, the lady said, "not taking new clients", asked for referral, she said "I don't know, we don't talk to anybody". Wow, they're goes the caring. Put in your website that you're not taking new clients.

Have been taking Taz to another vet had his Dental Care done could not get the yuck smell out of his mouth it was concerning me that what was going on did he just have Yukmouth or was there to still bad teeth and 4 teeth pulled and a cleaning cost me $600. I go into doctor dose and I forgot to mention to Sharon I was worried about his age and stuff but when I got there she let me know he was a fatty and I accepted that no problem she wasn't lying I did forget to mention that she was honest on it he did need to go for walks. Doctor doses decided to pull 19 of taz's teeth he has one left I have no smell he had loose teeth in his mouth it was just a nightmare and I was always worried that he was hurting it cost me under $420. He does excellent now seems so much healthier. His tongue does hangout now but it's part of his personality. I honestly don't understand how the vet before this didn't pull enough teeth to make him okay but I'm so happy I was referred to a doctor dose and that he got what he needed and he's healthy now and he's doing great❤ Thank you both so much for taking such great care of my dog. Excellent, compassionate vets, husband and wife team. Bare bones office they run themselves so don't charge tons to help your fur babies. They are a blessing.

Sharon lectured me about walking my dog and basic care. I am an adult professional woman with 25 years of dog experience. I pamper and lovingly take exceptionally good care of my fur baby. I was disgusted with her tone and demeanor. No veterinarian should talk down to their client in a condescending way. I have no intention of ever going back to this monstrosity. I don't need to pay good money to have my day and mood ruined by an ill-tempered angry with life woman. She does not realize how disparaging she is to a client. Absolutely awful. The worst ever experience.

Being new to Reno I was referred to the Dose’s by my neighbors. I checked out their reviews and wanted to give them a try for my Pom baby, Jada. If anyone knows me, Jada is my Child. Very well loved and spoiled. I called the Dose’s on Wednesday and was able to immediately get a response. Had a wonderful conversation with Mrs. Sharon who assured me of the process for my doggie’s teeth cleaning. She mentioned while they weren’t taking new patients she would squeeze me in for a cleaning on the upcoming Sunday! She met me the next day to check Jada out in prep for surgery. She answered all my questions and explained everything very detailed. I met Mr. Tom day of surgery and had an amazing conversation who eased my fear with Jada’s surgery. He could tell I was nervous but his bedside manner was amazing. He took longer to answer all my questions and explore other concerns I had regarding my baby. After surgery he called to let me know everything went well. I can’t tell you how much it meant that he followed everything he said he would regarding information on the process and what my cost would be. By far the cheapest in town. They put the puppies under anesthesia to make it safe for the baby and they. I was excited to see Jada was happy hours after waking up. She was her normal sweet tempered playing self right after. I am thankful to a wonderful experience and even following up after surgery. It’s important to have a rapport with your vet and reasonable prices. I will definitely be a loyal customer moving forward. I recommend if you are able to get an appointment give them a try because they were amazing.

Mrs dose has bad bedside manner, rude, rushes you out, would not recomend

There are two veterinarians in the clinic, a husband and wife team, with years of experience and caring for little animals. They manage to keep it simple. There is no need for staff, for they do it all themselves and with the utmost attention to the health of the animal patient and its family. I feel grateful to have found them. The veterinarians are both personal, kind and compassionate people.

Doctors Dose are great!! Both husband and wife are friendly and knowledgeable about your small pets. Best thing is they are a small mom and pop sort of operation so they don't have additional staff. This means great one on one interactions with both veterinarians and extremely affordable care for your dog or cat.

Dr. Tom and Sharon are "the best""!! We have used them for over 15 years, and we couldn't be happier!!

Visits $25, husband and wife are extremely qualified veterinarians, most of the time quick to get in and out. We have been using these Veterinarians for about 17 years and not one complaint.

Best place to go for cats imo, I basically get seen same day most of the time, visit is $25 plus whatever treatment/prescriptions. I had to drain my cats eye socket once and it was only $35 all together, and had to get a round of antibiotics another time, which was $50 for visit plus medication. The Dose's are kind, informative, gentle and are incredibly cautious during covid too. I do believe they only serve cats and dogs under 30 lbs.

I have Taken my four pomeranians to them for years. Tom And Sharon Dose are the Best in their field. I absolutely Recommend them.

Absolutely unequivocally the best Veterinarians in the world! If you are lucky enough to get in with them, you will never go anywhere else! Compassionate and caring like no other!

Rudest vet I have ever walked into. I came in this morning with my sick cat and 500 dollars cash. I walked into an empty office and when I inquired if I could bring my cat in I was told I couldnt be helped and I had to go to the emergency vet in the cheaper part of town. I never said it was an emergency, I could have easily made an appointment and waited for more professional treatment but I guess that wasnt going to happen here. Off to banfield where i know they will make an appointment and take the time to talk to me like a human.

I've gone to Dose's Pet Vets since the '80's, I couldn't be happier with the care my pets get. The Dr's prices are reasonable, the care is outstanding, the doctors are just good people!
