I have followed Dr Betsy from multiple veterinarians. I’m so glad she has her own place! All the vets are amazing like her. I highly recommend Aspen Animal Wellness!

My 2 dogs see Dr Hicks, and she is amazing! She goes above and beyond to provide the best possible care for them, even reaching out to different specialty hospitals around the country to find a treatment for my female dog’s urinary incontinence. She is very thorough and explains the diagnosis and plan of care in detail, and has even helped one of my dogs survive a life threatening illness and come out safely. All the vet techs and front office staff are amazing as well, and greet my dogs by name and give them plenty of snuggles to make them feel at home. Both of my dogs are usually pretty wary about going to the vet, but they get very excited when we go to Aspen and they can’t wait to see everybody! I highly recommend Dr Hicks and all the wonderful people here!

Dr. Hicks is wonderful! She is compassionate, efficient and she’s taken care of our goldendoodles since they were pups (they are 6&7 years old now). She has went above and beyond accommodating our very finicky boy. It became apparent to us very early on that she has the patience of a saint! I’ve recommended her and Aspen to many of my friends and colleagues—all have been so happy to find this place. We are very fortunate that Aspen has opened and is serving our community.

This is the best clinic I have been to in years. The owners have listened to pet owners and have created a place where our pets can get be taken care of when they need it. Dr. Hicks has been our Vet for years but we have also seen the others if she is booked and they are all amazing! This place is absolutely wonderful! Each vet, tech and receptionist I've interacted with here have been very kind and helpful. Every one of them come over and say hi to my pup too, which is super cute.

I have recommended this vet to everyone! The doctors are so knowledgeable and kind. The front desk ladies are also always in a great mood and seem genuinely happy to see animals come through their door. They have taken great care of my new Vizsla puppy!

Due to character limits, please see attached photos for full review. TLDR: Staff said previous vet records "were needed" before they'd see our pet despite being told multiple times why these weren't available before the exam Dr. Hicks lied regarding allowing owners in exam room, neglected and refused to use prearranged accommodations for anxious pet, did not complete thorough exam, was patronizing and rude, and her written records do not match what we were told in person. We will never return, and I would recommend others avoid this location as the staff are not only willing to lie / go back on their word in person, but also lie in their written records.

Love the vets here, and the staff treats you with respect and they truly care about your pets wouldn’t take my crew anywhere else!

Such a great veterinarian practice and an asset to pets and owners in the Reno area. The staff is so friendly and helpful and Dr. Hicks is thorough, patient and it is evident she loves what she does.

Professional, friendly, and helpful front office staff, and my dog really liked Dr. Phillips, as did I. As they are a new Veterinary Clinic, they were able to get me in the same day, but I don't expect that to be the case for very long.

Staff were all very professional. I felt the Veterinarian was very knowledgeable & gave my dog high quality care. I will definitely go back & I would recommend to others.

I had a really good experience with everyone their I have a pitbull that can be aggressive around me and they had no issue taking care of him they were also affordable and their were no surprise charges I have definitely found a vet I like and I will be bringing him back

Dr Betsy Phillips Awesome as Always

Clean, friendly, kind and compassionate. I will not go anywhere else. Easy to schedule and get in when needed. Dr. Phillip's is ABSOLUTELY incredible with her patients and humans.

I am so pleased with the experiences I’ve had with Aspen Animal Wellness. They have gone above and beyond to help treat my cat after getting some upsetting news. Dr. Betsy has been awesome and gone over the top to educate us about what is going on. I’ve been able to reach the office whenever needed and they have followed up to check on her multiple times. All the staff has been very friendly and personable. I also appreciated that they are very upfront with costs. I am glad I have found a vet I can trust to take my cat and future pets to. Thanks again for taking such great care of Mochi!

I highly, highly recommend this place! We normally go to Klaich, but they couldn't get us in for over a month so they sent us to these ladies and I am so grateful! They were so kind and patient, took the time to befriend my more timid dog and never made me feel bad for her being scared. I've had a couple bad experiences with Vet Techs but these ladies were fantastic! And the doctor was so kind and knowledgeable, really took the time to explain everything. I am so happy we found this place, will definitely be bringing all five our pets here!

Dr. Phillips and the rest of the staff at Aspen Animal Wellness are nothing but amazing to our dogs! The moment we walked in we felt welcomed and I thank the team for their attentiveness to our visit. I have confidence in Aspen Animal Wellness to provide our dogs with the upmost care and love.
