I've had a difficult time finding a good local veterinarian. I'm so happy to say I've found one. Dr. Troxel is kind, honest and gentle with the animals. She helped my 12 year old German Shepherd over the rainbow bridge awhile back. Each staff member made the experience the best they could considering the circumstances. I was so greatful to a place that would allow me to be with my girl as so many places expect you to drop them at the door. I would not drop my sick child with a doctor and I'm not f going to do that with a pet for any reason. Also I just took our new puppy Alfie in for his wellness exam and again a wonderful experience with Dr. Troxel and staff. You can also get an appointment here within a reasonable time, or walk in bit be prepared to wait. They are reliable, friendly and affordable. Thank you.

I just wanted to leave a review specifically for those that have a big dog that may have anxiety or be vocal or nervous around new people. I took my 1 year old German Shepherd here and she is a noisy dog, she is very alert around strangers and protective of my mother and I. I’m not sure if the nurses and veterinarians are not good with big dogs or noisy dogs but they weren’t very friendly with my dog. They didn’t attempt to familiarize themselves with my dog just because she was barking, she was barking because she was in an unfamiliar place around strangers so it’s understandable to me why she would be barking. When she was brought into the exam room the nurse didn’t try to talk to her much and just went straight in to take her temperature. My dog doesn’t know her so she was uncooperative and continued to bark. I will not put all the blame on the staff but I will say they weren’t very good with my dog because they didn’t attempt to calm or comfort her. I will say my dog did snap at the nurse and that is not okay for her to do but the nurse was a stranger getting close and personal with her while not calming her or communicating to her. She was getting shots that day so I feel that they should have been more friendly with her especially because it was her first time. Any other Vet I have taken her to, the staff was much friendlier and familiarized themselves with my dog to comfort her. Because of her barking they deemed that they were unable to give her an exam and still charged me for a full examination. My mother was the one to take her here so I wasn’t able to experience this first hand. But I called and I was told she was given a visual examination because of her behavior. My mother did say that the doctor did not even attempt to examine my dog and he only took notes that he could not examine her because she was barking. I am disappointed to waste my time here and having to put my dog in this situation. So I leave this review for big dog owners or for dog owners with loud or anxious dogs.

4 weeks to get an appt for long term customer. Pet hasn't eaten for 4 days. No alternative options or suggestions from appt desk. Front office staff bickering between themselves. Ever since change if ownership about 2 years ago service has gone down. Blamed everything on covid, doing the best they can do. Attitude is yes animals can go weeks without eating, how do you know they aren't eating? What a question to ask an owner. Been taking care of my animals since they opened. Claimed they gave options overe the phone.

Have been taking 2 cats and 2 dogs here for 4 years now. Amazing services provided in a timely manner with a very professional staff. They even do emergency visits! Don't hesitate to call them for anything.

They are great and very caring. A bit on the expensive side, but it's close to home, and worth it for me, to put my animals at ease. They even sent a condolence card after I had to put my fur baby Felix down when he was ill. I didn't take him there to put him down, rather chose in-home euthanasia but his remains were delivered to them. Dr. Graham is awesome

I've been taking my sweet Lola to East Valley Pet Hospital since she was a puppy. My Lola now is 5 years old. The girls at the front desk are amazing! I've never had a bad experience with any of them. Always polite, smiles on their faces and consistently making sure that you and your pet are ok. Lola can be a bit rowdy with the other fur babies. I love their quick thinking and having my Lola and I go inside through the side door for less problematic situations. Thank you girl's!!! There's 2 female doctors at the facility that are absolutely gems! Lola wags her tail when she sees them both! Thank you so much at the staff for taking good care of our 4 legged baby! They saved my dog and are so personally professionally. I ran in with my dog, blood on my arms, and without skipping a beat they took her in and confirmed she was stabilized. I was nearly sobbing from fear of what injuries happened from the dog bite, but the staff stayed calm and let me have space to calm down. They kept me updated and took immediate and amazing care. My dog has been back to her normal self before the two week mandate of the cone collar. I would've never expected such quality and personal care from any other facility. The doctor recognized me and my dog each check up, so I definitely feel a huge trust in the staff. I just can't thank them enough, my heart is glowing with warmth now that my baby is back to her regular life. :)

Our three dogs have each been patients at East Valley... They range from small to large, young to quite elderly, and skittish to sassy. Each has been lovingly cared for and respected. Dr. Graham is patient, gentle, and knowledgeable. We very much appreciate the time she takes to answer questions and the fact that she always follows up. All office staff and technicians are equally wonderful! I would without hesitation recommend East Valley!

We brought our cat Carl in for some dental work . We got a estimate almost a year ago, and on that estimate it had a discount. We finally proceeded with the procedure and the discount expired. And the manager was so kind to honor the expired discount. The staff are trustworthy, helpful, Informative and always friendly. We brought in other cats in the past. That sadly past away. And they were so kind to send us a card signed by the staff. Signed so personal to my cat, they even mentioned the funny nickname they gave my cat. I had those cards framed. From a staff that truly cares. I will definitely continue to bring my cats in the future, thank you east valley pet hospital.

I was very disappointed in East Valley Pet Hospital when I took my dog in to be neutered. We had an appointment, however the intake & pick-up were all done in the Extremely busy reception desk. While the receptionist explained the procedure & cost, there was no sense of privacy & it was distracting with others checking in and out. While it appears that the procedure went well, the lack of privacy & personal attention were very poor. I may be changing vets soon.

We are so thankful for East Valley Pet Hospital! Our 5 dogs see Dr. Graham. They have been to her for dentals, surgeries, allergies, and emergency care. She always takes excellent care of them and takes the time to explain their conditions and treatments to us. The staff is also friendly, helpful, and efficient. Kelly is awesome.

Had dog misdiagnosed and seen by all three vets! One of them told me she would not see the dog again and that I had to take it to a specialist. She had a piss pore attitude. Took my dog to Loma Linda Animal Hospital where she was diagnosed with a failing liver, not a spinal problem which East Valley vet suggested. My poor dog was in so much pain and every time I brought her in, they treated us like such a bother. Overheard one of the ladies state that eventually owners will just put their painful dogs down. Well honey, I'm here to tell you that's not true and my dog survived because of a second opinion and treatment. Because you didn't know how to treat my dog, you placed her on so many meds and nearly killed her!!! Will never recommend your place to anyone who loves their pet.

This has to be the best veterinary spot in the IE. they always take amazing care of my pets and they work with you if you need extra assistance. Update: I took an older dog in and the vet was not very clear as to why I was giving my dog the medicine. It also seemed like she were really uncomfortable with me for whatever reason, and when I asked the vet spoke VERY quickly and used a lot of medical jargon. I still don’t understand why I gave her two types of pain medicine. She only gave me a weeks worth and said to come back in two weeks. How does that help my dog when she is going a whole week without medicine? Also, being closed on a Sunday is ridiculous. Most people work Monday through Friday, so this is forcing people to go elsewhere.
