Camp Opie Dog Daycare Rancho Santa Margarita, California

Our dogs seem to have a fine time here, they’ve always left in good shape, and we don’t have to worry about them when we’re on travel. We really like the ability to see our dogs on the web cams. I wish the cameras had longer hours, the app didn’t complain about taking screenshots (these aren’t kids), and there were be two views of the small dog area. The price is steep, about $1000 for our two dogs for a week with baths. Pickup and dropoff hours are reasonable, and the staff is always super-nice. We can tell from the webcams that they are attentive to the dogs.

Great group of people who truly care about your dog and you. They always remember us and we are more infrequent goers as I work from home. Their grooming services are excellent as well if you ever add to a visit.

Staff is warm and caring. Lots of play time. Venue is spotless ???? The best place for your baby when you have to leave them.

I will not take my dogs anywhere else.

We love taking our dog to Camp Opie! - The STAFF are very friendly, seem well trained, & most importantly love our dog! - The FACILITIES are large and they screen dogs for sociability which makes me feel very confident that my dog will be safe - I love the large window so that we can see just how our small dog is doing before we leave.

I have a friend who brings her dog here & she is desperately ill. They have gone above & beyond to accommodate her needs. Thank you so very much! ????????awesome facility & staff.

My dog's tail begins to way like crazy when he realizes where we are going. I look at him through their webcams and he's always happy. The place is very clean and attendants are very kind and loving.

The owner is irresponsible and doesn't run the operation very well. She treats the employees worse than the dogs! She treats her young student employees especially poorly.

jen, the owner, is a sweetheart and the staff there genuinely cares about all their dogs. i'm usually very careful and paranoid when it comes to leaving my dog anywhere, but camp opie puts me at ease. i will definitely be returning.... repeatedly!

We recently adopted our pup from the humane society. On our walks, he seemed anxious and aggressive towards other dogs. He even tried to fight a bigger dog! We knew he needed some socializing and MORE love! So, we took him to Camp Opie! First, we hoped that he would pass their temperament test! Their staff was caring and introduced him to the pack! Our once anxious pup, was immediately in doggy heaven! He was so happy to play in a safe, loving environment! The staff gives one on one attention, plays with the dogs and gives lots of cuddles if the dogs wants it! I KNOW because of their amazing DOGGY CAM! We also got updates from the staff and let us know how well he was doing! We had him stay over the weekend! When we picked him up a few days later, he smelled like blueberries, his fur was so soft & he was so happy to have made so many new friends! My 3 little human-children LOVE coming to Camp Opie! Their front desk/foyer is oozing with LOVE & happiness. We LOVE their Camp Opie wall, displaying many of their faithful clients! AND for a Dog Daycare facility, it smells so nice! I found out they are constantly cleaning and disinfecting to make sure our pups are happy & germ-free! If human kids are happy to be around the foyer, dogs RUN inside with joy, and meet the staff, you'll know you've found a UNIQUE place that is here on this planet to share LOVE. There are several doggie daycares in Rancho Santa Margarita. I visited most of them and Camp Opie is the best for my pup! It is family owned, and the owner takes great pride in her business. It is a clean, loving and fun environment.

I always took my dog to doggie daycare and I was really disappointed in their transition after being bought. Camp Opie fills in nicely...they already know my dog and give him more personalized attention. I like the feeling of a owner operated business with the personal touch.
