Banfield Pet Hospital Rancho Cucamonga, California

Yesterday!!!! I have always used Banfield my first pet passed a year ago ! Banfield in Upland is where I normally go! I went to the one here closer to me in Rancho for a first time inquiry and possible pet insurance. ( no one is in line I’m the only one standing at the counter for 5 minutes .. not once did she say I’ll be right with you , how can I help you or anything! she was not on the phone nor did she even look at me … I’m standing right in front of her????????‍♀️ …. ( a simple acknowledgment and I’ll be right with you)

Our pet hates it BUT WE LUV IT Now no one follows thru. No calls returned Sad not nice.

First time at this location, Fontana was booked. Friendly staff, clean store.

Made an appointment at 7:45am showed up at 7:40 and was told even though I have my confirmation I'm going to have to wait until 8:30. Fast forward 1hr and 30min later and I'm still waiting for my dog to be seen. What is the point of making me jump through these waiting hopes just to keep waiting?

I took my dog not once but twice to this hospital for a rash. The first time I was given antiseptic spray which after a week did not improve. Took my dog back a second time and was told it could be an autoimmune. While waiting to pickup my dog I ran into a friend and shared that my brother has a total of 15 dogs from breeding. I paid for services and medicines and 3 days later my dogs rash begin to improve. Four days later an Animal control agent was at my door with a notice that Banfield accused me of neglect. I showed the agent the dog all paper work which stated nothing about neglect. Come to find out Shawn the Asian Pacific Islander reported my conversation with my friend and assumed that I had 15 dogs. The agent was like this is so wrong and a waste of my time. Unethical practices at its best! I would never refer anyone to this facility and Im so glad I know my rights. Do not share any information about your dogs because Shawn will report it as his own version

There is a particular representative at Banfield on Summit Ave. who always goes above and beyond the call of duty making us and our pets feeling well taken care of. Her name is Dara and I give compliments when compliments are due!

Really great experience and friendly staff for me and my princess layla luna. It has been hard moving from Utah to California and finding a store that cares about you and your dog. And this is the place. They were amazing today .

Horrible experience. I went here instead of my regular vet because my 4 month old puppy was in distress and my vet couldn't get her in right away. They kept her for 6 hours and every time I talked to the assistant she tried to up sell me products and tests all the while dismissing my concerns about my dog. She even thought the puppy had been spayed...did they even look at her? Thankfully I got antibiotics and got my pup out of there. I will never go there again! The young man at the front desk was very nice. Follow up: 2 days after completing the antibiotics my pup was struggling again. At this point I took her to my regular vet who said the normal treatment would be 3 weeks of antibiotics, not 1. He could easily see that she had an infection and he was shocked that Banfield told me there was nothing wrong with her!

Staff was absolutely amazing!! Answered all of my questions and made my pet the priority❤

We had a wonderful experience with our rescue. The lady who helped us was super sweet and great with out doggo.

Service is bad here, they don't let you go into the back with your pet to see how they are being treated.

They always take great care if my 3 dogs. The staff is pleasant and kind. They have always answered any questions I have had

They were great with my cat the Dr.seemd Short though later on like she was to busy to take the time to explain things and sam needs to be a lot more caring towards pet owners feelings especially when your about to lose a pet you love with all your heart,over all Tiffany cared about my cat up until the end Tiffany is an outstanding person with an amazing heart

I love this vet. They are ALWAYS very professional, welcoming, and courteous. They treat my dog like family. She is very comfortable with them. I like that they even try to help cut costs where they can.

Great experience with this Banfield. The staff is very friendly and I really like Dr. Thoreson and Dr. Contreras.

Staff is friendly and they take care of our dogs. If you just want to pick up meds or get dog's nails clipped go there between 3pm to 4:00pm or later. Most of the time you can get out in and out in 15 minutes. You do need an appointment if your animal needs to see the vet.

Very busy for a Saturday. I took my cat in for a bath and they informed me they do not have any cat groomers in today. ????

All of the Banfield Doctors and their staff we have found to be very knowledgeable and caring. They have taken good care of 2 of our dogs over 12 years.

Very punctual, friendly staff. Wish they had a health plan for humans.

We are traveling from out of state and nearly out of prescription dog food for our allergy-sensitive dog. I thought one of the benefits of choosing Banfield were the many locations around the country. I’ve never had such unhelpful service until visiting this location. We had been to multiple locations already only to find they didn’t carry the Hills d/d, which is the only food my dog can eat without having an allergic reaction. So this time we called ahead. First, they wouldn’t even check to see if they had the dog food over the phone. Then when we got there they didn’t want to print a new prescription card for the food because the original wasn’t printed at that location. Yet we’ve travelled the country and had it printed multiple locations, this place says they can’t. They ended up doing it but not without hassle. Seriously, people, it’s dog food not drugs.

Too corporate. They are quick to turn away service.

Fantastic veterinary practice, everyone is always so friendly and professional. My dog was recently bitten in the shoulder muscle by another dog, and they saw her quickly, operated on her and had her on the road to recovery in no time. The vets and staff are all fabulous!!!

My cat was misdiagnosed twice by the Banfield in Rancho Cucamonga. My cat’s eye was watering bad. Banfield did many tests and sent her home with eye drops that made little improvement. Her eye proceeded to get worse and now had blood in the drainage. I took her back, she saw a different doctor who told me my cat had a virus and there was nothing they could do for her. I took my cat to another vet for a second opinion. My cat had an upper respiratory infection. They gave me different medicine and she is now much better and her eye isn;t leaking anymore.
