I have a small animal that is suffering and needs to be euthanized. Although we've spent thousands of dollars on other animals between visits and meds, the staff member who answered had to be begged to even ask the vet for any assistance as they were 20 mins from close. It was suggested I call around.

I brought in my rescue Amstaff for his first after adoption vet appointment and Melanie and Dr. Faith did such a wonderful job with my dog. Made him feel welcome and comfortable as he was nervous at first. They did great distracting him when giving shots and he was a happy boy on the way out. Both my dog and I are very happy with our service! :)

Horrible customer service especially in the midst of my pet emergency.

Dr Thomas is great! She thoroughly explained Smokey’s issues to me so I can make an informed decision as to our next step with my boy.

Best Vet I’ve ever been to by far! They are very understanding and really care about the animals they look after. Instead of having to put down my beloved cat they were able to reduce the cost of surgery to something we could afford. They have been nothing but vigilant after her procedure constantly checking in on her to make sure she’s okay.

The workers and vets are nice and all, but the pricing here is ridiculous. Prior to my consultation, I wasn't aware VCA's were a rip off. I was quoted over 3 grand for my dogs dental. I ended up having to take my dog to a different Pet Hospital. The other place did the job efficiently and for less than half what VCA Cordova quoted me for.

I just transferred to this clinic. I was very happy with the professionalism and caring nature of both the staff and Vet at my cat’s yearly physical. The Vet (Dr. Toby Faith) came to the car (they still have COVID contact restrictions in place) to discuss optionsvrather than talking to me by phone or worse having a tech relay everything. The increased distance we need to travel to get to the clinic is a small price to pay for the quality of the practice.

I’m upgrading my review from before. This place does a great job, and they care about my dog. They resolved her yeast infection inside both ears, My dog, Tenshi, is very great full.

Top notch veterinary clinic. Great facility and wonderful people. They've been taking great care of all my pets for many years. Thank you VCA Cordova.

First thought walking up to the building was....kinda gross, empty fast food bags littered the sides of the building, cigarette butts on the ground, and empty energy drink cans. The corporate influence is very prevalent among front desk workers at this location. Before asking me if I had a non retractable leash that I could use on my pet a younger blonde woman handed me a nylon rope with a hand loop and key ring and said you have to use this because of insurance! Zero reference to safety of my pet, other clients pets, or people in the office, her reasoning was all about them and their money. While it seems clear a majority of front desk employees do not want to be there or are genuinely pet people, the veterinarians have shown much more empathy and compassion to our pets. One of my Heelers had 8 teeth pulled and our experience with Dr. Weaver was great. If you can handle the 2 star treatment when you get there it might be worth the 4 star treatment your pet gets. I would have preferred to drive a couple extra hours to be greeted by a welcoming reception team and get great treatment for my pet than just the latter.

My dog has an ear infection and the only way I can get a refill is paying for another visit in addition to the refill. It doesn't make sense.

Front counter ladies are rude and have horrible attitudes, felt like I was being disrespected just for asking a question, I've been coming here for years and I spend 150-300 every time I go here but this last visit was the last visit ever I'll find a new office with nicer people and cheaper prices, wish I could give 0 stars. My review is a direct reflection of how I was treated, with no respect!!! If you feel otherwise that's fine I'll take I business else where, your facility should be shutdown and the fact that you responded in such away proves that this is an ongoing problem. Maybe your business should just shutdown and move to a different area you guys aren't needed here.

Had a "don't appreciate what you've got till its gone" experience. We moved about 30 minutes away and decided to try another vet when my pup wasnt feeling well. Awful experience, they muzzled him, kept talking about how he was going to bite. My dogs have always been respected here. All of the techs take their time, they work with my anxious dog and the word muzzle has never even been spoken about him. They always talk about how handsome and sweet he is and really you can tell that the people who work here love animals. The vets here are great and make you feel confident. We will be making the drive. Lesson learned.

When we first got our dogs and chose this location for our vet we were very happy with the service and attentive care given to our dogs. that was 4 years ago, slowly over the last 1.5 years bringing my dogs here has become an absolute nightmare. i have a very short haired terrier mix that has some kind of skin condition, i don't know what he has because every time i bring him in they tell me he has fleas... he doesn't, hes on flea meds. And every time they try to push more flea medication. each one more expensive than the next! then i have to make a return visit because they wont take me seriously and my dog gets an infection, and i end up spending $$$$ it feels like they are now owned by a pharmaceutical company and actual care doesn't matter as long as they make a sale. absolutely appalled and disappointed with the place. looking for a new vet I guess

I spent almost $3,000 to be treated very poorly. On the recommendation of my vet, this was the closest specialist to the Roseville area. When we picked up our dog Bella. The employee (older lady) shut off the lights inside the building …

I recently rehomed a stray I was feeding and went here because of the free exam. I went first to determine for sure the gender, if she was neutered, and why she was getting thinner. I went again because she was limping. The vet and vet tech were very nice and gentle both times. My first issue was when I called back to determine which tooth was bothering her, the front desk said the vet hadn't put it down. When I went in for the 2nd visit the vet tech said that wasn't true. They also told me that they were positive the cat was a girl and not spayed. When I took her in to be fixed, that vet told me that the cat was definitely a male. The vet exam was too expensive, the vet didn't check the lame leg as carefully as I would've liked. There were pros and cons, but I'll find another vet.

Always so helpful and kind. It's always good when the Vets and other staff have people skills too! They offered us bottles of water while waiting and always follow up with a call to check up on out kitty. During our appointments, they always talk us through each procedure and are very up front about costs. We had a bad experience at our prior vet, so Cordova is such a breath of fresh air. We've had both Dr. Alexander and Dr. Thomas and they are both so kind!
